Oh, also, last week's dub episode was the last one VD'ed by Theresa Buchheister. Today's dub episode was the first VD'ed by Lisa Ortiz.
And a new dub title is out.
XY&Z: Serena Becomes Satoshi! The Strongest Pikachu Showdown!! XYZ: Battling at Full Volume!

Here are all the dub titles I missed out on or am late to posting (except for the ones Ryu posted)-
XY&Z: A Bride for Citron!? Eureka's "S'il vous Plaît" Panic!! XYZ: A Keeper for Keeps?!
XY&Z: Satoshi and Alan! Gekkouga vs. Mega Lizardon Once Again!! XYZ: The Synchronicity Test!
XY&Z: The Forest's Curse and the White Bokurei! XYZ: Making Friends and Influencing Villains!
XY&Z: Satoshi vs. the Champion Carnet! Going Up Against Mega Sirnight!! XYZ: Championing a Research Battle!
XY&Z: A Rival Showdown! Satoshi vs. Shouta!! XYZ: A Full-Strength Battle Surprise!
XY&Z: The Eisetsu Gym Match! The Ice Battle Field!! XYZ: All Hail the Ice Battlefield!
XY&Z: The Winding Woods...The Dawn of Evolution! XYZ: Seeing the Forest for the Trees!
XY&Z: Satoshi-Gekkouga vs. Mega Yukinooh! Activate the Giant Water Shuriken!! XYZ: A Real Icebreaker!
So I wonder, why did TPCI start doing titles like this; "Movie Time! Zorua in 'The Legend of the Pokémon Knight'!" and then suddenly stop.
Also what were your thoughts on TCPI making Japanese-style titles? Did it put you off for the dub or did you like their nod to the original?

I don't mind TPCi doing Japanese-style titles, just as long as said titles don't spoil anything. That's been my only problem with Japanese episode titles for any Japanese cartoon, and one thing I wish better dubs (like Viz's redub of Sailor Moon) wouldn't preserve. It looks very interesting. I could tell that this was just a dub of a Japanese trailer because the music definitely sounds Shinji Miyazaki-like. Though I'd like it better if they pronounced Volcanion like "vol-canyon", I'm okay with the pronunciation they decided to go with. Oh, and also... ...confirmation on who's voicing Jarvis.

So Sean Schemmel can do evil voices, now I wonder if he can alter his Goku voice to sound evil.... just something for the dub of Dragon Ball Super.
I have heard nothing but great things about the Volcanion and Magearna movie, I already read a guide for it and I can tell it's got lots of emotion.
Someone uploaded a cam-rip of the Japanese version on Youtube, however I would prefer to view it illegally in great quality and with clear sound.

Also what were your thoughts on T PCI making Japanese-style titles? Did it put you off for the dub or did you like their nod to the original? I thought it was weird, but it was far from being the worst thing about the dub back then, seeing as it happened during the BW series. I love punny titles, so it's only fitting that they came back when the show got good again. I have heard nothing but great things about the Volcanion and Magearna movie, I already read a guide for it and I can tell it's got lots of emotion. Oh, good. The Hoopa movie was cute but rather disappointing (but not because of the music!), so I'm glad that the last XY movie is going to be great when I get the chance to see it. Someone uploaded a cam-rip of the Japanese version on Youtube, however I would prefer to view it illegally in great quality and with clear sound. Ditto.

Except they didn't. This is not TPCI revealing the title, it's a leak from an unofficial source.

I have changed the title of this thread to make it more apparent on what it is for.
Also I have finally edited the front page with the dub episode titles revealed a long while back. I should note that my lack of interest in the dub version of the Pokémon anime is what prevented me from doing this near when they were revealed, due to this I'm now allowing others to post dub titles in case I take too long (I no longer feel committed to it) I will then edit the front page with them, when I'm up for it. This has been the case for a while, so I'm late revealing this.

"Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel" has recently premiered in Australia and New Zealand, meaning a US and UK release is on the way. On Bulbagarden, this bit of information on it stuck out to me.
This is all very interesting. Some of those renames make more sense to me considering they come from many things and people having to do with electrical science ("Tesla" coming from Tesla Motors, "Alva" coming from Thomas Alva Edison), and the movie's setting is mechanical. The original Japanese names come from alchemists, which I don't think fits in a setting having to do with machines. Though now I'd love to see Pokemon dabble in alchemy.
Needless to say, I don't agree with that "sadly" about the new soundtrack, but I'll give a judgement on it after I hear it. Plus, I knew there'd be a new soundtrack because I had an email conversation with Ed Goldfarb back in June, and he mentioned having a movie to work on the soundtrack of.
I'm hoping it'll be out sometime before Christmas.

I hate myself so much for what I'm about to say:
today's dub episode ("A Towering Takeover")only managed to equal its original JP version. Its music was good, but not superior, and same with its acting for the most part.
Now for the part I have no problem saying: Billy Bob Thompson is an excellent Squishy, and H.D. Quinn is becoming a great Lysandre.

TPCI's trailer for the dub version of the Sun & Moon series is.... uuuuh.... really something: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5XgjmXLwe18. Also titles- SM JP: Alola! The First Island and the First Pokémon!! SM US: Alola to New Adventure!
SM JP: Enter the Guardian Deity Kapu Kokeko! Let's Try Out Our Z-Move!! SM US: The Guardian's Challenge!I, as usual, won't watch episodes full in English, but just check out the dub intro and watch scenes of new characters to hear their English voices.

Saw the video of the Japanese opening to Sun/Moon anime and went "ye GODS that looks absolutely dreadful. Why are people saying the animation quality (as opposed to the art quality) is better?"
And then I watched the Pokémon offical channel English trailer...
And here we apparently have a classic Ghostbusters 2016 US vrs UK trailer-sort of thing. Wherein the editing choices on the latter trailer make the series look WAAAAAY better than the Japanese ones did. Nothing *whatsoever* to do with the actual language used, I hasten to add (though for me Ash's English VA helps since dear frag that does NOT look like Ash); but rather just because the English lanuguage trailer is edited to focus on, y'know, the actual action sequences and stuff on not just "lol zany humour" like the Japanese trailers. (Or at least the first ones; I dunno if the more recent trailers for Japan are any different, i.e. better.)
I mean, it still looks like a step down compared with XY, but the English language trailer makes it look maybe WATCHABLE.

The English SM trailer is a complete joke, they try to make it look all serious (which is not what the Pokémon anime is all about). What do you make about the sections showcasing the Volcanion movie, then? As for the trailer itself, it's just a typical American trailer with many signature American styles in it. I think it worked out well enough, certainly better than when America's trailers for Disney's "Frozen" made a total joke out of that movie (and how coincidental is that that I just brought up a Disney movie in a discussion about Pokemon moving to Disney XD?).
