Full summary and voice cast for SM064-SM063 screenshots: filb.de/anime/sm/063 and SM064 preview video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vy5kFGKkcqISo Nyabby gets a butt-shake training montage just like Iwanko did and just like that one the song "Alola!!" plays in the background. But there's one difference and that's Nyabby's one is matched up to the song and therefore it's going look really awkward in the dub. And I think the part that will do it the most is when Satoshi, Pikachu, Lugarugan and Nyabby mime along to "Aye-yee-yah-yee-yah!" Speaking of music, it was great to hear the Sun & Moon Champion battle theme. The SM series has been getting more anime adaptations of SM game music than the XY(&Z) series did and if we get every song that will make me very happy as I love the OST of Sun & Moon and Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon.
Anyway, the episode, I loved it, Nyabby's evolution to Nyaheat has to be one of my favourites (it evolved while surrounded by fire, that was awesome). Also I am glad Nyaheat didn't defeat Gaogaen straight after evolving, remember that Ku-I mean the Masked Royal's Gaogaen tanked moves from three fully evolved Pokémon and Nyaheat just evolved and learned Nitro Charge so there's no way it's getting a power boost as massive as that in an instant. You'd be in the minority if you post in Serebii Forums, because a lot of people didn't like that Ash lost even after Litten evolved. I actually liked that fact myself, because this gives Torrecat the motivation to get even stronger.

Oh yeah, I have seen people arguing over it. Not surprised though, there are some very annoying people over at the Serebii forums.
I remembered today is Cat Day in Japan and an episode focusing on Nyabby aired on Cat Day. Was this intentional or a coincidence?

I remembered today is Cat Day in Japan and an episode focusing on Nyabby aired on Cat Day. Was this intentional or a coincidence? Whether it as intentional or a coincidence, it was brilliant. Also, this is why I love the sun and moon anime. They are throwing aside conventional plotlines from the past series just like the first stage pokémon facing fully evolved Pokémon, evolving into the second stage, and winning that was done in previous series; or where the pokémon is already in the second stage or it's a two stage line, they battle the fully evolved Pokémon, lose badly, decide not to evolve, train, then beat the fully evolved pokémon.

So here's what I liked about the new trailer: -Really nice animation -Good character variety and design -Simple yet creative title
What I didn't like: -The Japanese music has hit a spectacular new low -The acting still is pain to suffer.
It looks interesting enough. I just hope TPCi gives it a dub soundtrack. If not, I'm going to have to skip it for my health.

Full summary and voice cast for SM065-SM064 screenshots: filb.de/anime/sm/064 and SM065 preview video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XijR8UVptn4Average episode this week, don't have that much to say on it. I am looking forward next week to see the appearance of Ilima, more Skull Gang members (along with Tupper, Zip and Wrap) Eievui Expert Kagetora and, of course, the anime début appearance of Eievui's own exclusive Z-Move, Nine Evol Boost. I like that one of the Nagetukesaru is nicknamed Tiny and Satoshi acting like a Nagetukesaru was cute and funny. Yeah, that's all I got to say on SM064.

Full summary and voice cast for SM067-SM066 screenshots: filb.de/anime/sm/066 and SM067: www.youtube.com/watch?v=dc8sOjqcgsADidn't really care much for this episode, but that's just because I'm not into sports and so I'm not a fan of sports anime or (in this case) sports in anime. That being said, I enjoyed the Sun & Moon baseball episode, but it is only because of Satoshi and Kaki being over-the-top when playing and it airing the same year as the Dragon Ball Super baseball episode (it was even more entertaining, IMO) which also had Goku and Vegeta overdoing playing baseball.

I just realized the brilliance of all these sports themed episodes that we have in the Sun and Moon anime series. The Pancake race in episode 13, baseball in episode 28, the Chargabug race in episode 41, the Pokesled jumping in episode 60, and the Ping Pong tournament in episode 66, plus references to other sports in other episodes. Episode 13 is the Pancake episode which is a combination of a middle distance running and a kind of triathalon (only difference is that they have their pokemon carry a stack of pancakes while doing so).
Episode 28 is the baseball episode plain and simple, only with Pokemon. Episode 40 is the Chargabug race which is a combination of Track, Mountain, and Road cycling (only with Chargabugs instead of bikes), complete with feed stations/pit stops.
Episode 60 is the Pokesled jump tournament, which is improised ski jumping (only replace the skis with a sled and having their pokemon firing a couple of moves while in the air), conveniently aired a week before the start of the Pyeongchang 2018 Olympics.
And if that doesn't cause any suspicions, then in episode 64, you have the Passimians playing what appears to be Rugby. In episode 65, you have Ilima showcasing a spot for diving, and does a dive not unlike we could see an olympian do by starting his dive with a handstand.
And now, in this current episode, we have a ping pong tournament (aka Table Tennis). And now, what is common with all these sports? Their original sports can all be found in the Olympics. And all but one sports is held during the summer Olympics.
And what's so special about all this? In less than two years, Japan will be hosting the Tokyo 2020 olympics. And now it makes so much sense to me. And this may be what is brilliant about having the setting of the anime be primarily at a school. This allows them to be at one place when there's a sports episode coming up.

SM067 screenshots: filb.de/anime/sm/067 and SM068 preview video: youtu.be/zJxY27b5UwQ (break next week, so there's no summary and voice cast). So Satoshi caught Bebenomu, but it might only be temporary as Lusamine said to treat it as a partner Pokémon until they can locate its Ultra Wormhole. But you also see Bebenomu likes Pikachu so much it might not want to got back and would prefer to stay with Satoshi. Let's wait and see what happens. Bebenomu is very adorable, it sounds like an excited baby (suiting its Japanese name) when it speaks and the way it nuzzles up to Pikachu is super-cute. And as I'd expected, Mamane's Togedemaru is showing signs of jealously and I won't be surprised if she competes with Bebenomu for Pikachu's affection.

I had a feeling Ash was going to catch that little Mew-sized Ultra Beast when it was first shown! Mostly in the form to contrast his friendly rivalry to Gladion, as Gladion has an Ultra Beast-killer in the form of Silvally, it would seem appropriate Ash gets an Ultra Beast. I'm sure there will be a battle between Silvally and Poipole's nifty evolution at some point, although I do hope the little guy doesn't have to leave by the end of the Alola series - too cute and cool to go away!
Poipole. The first Pokemon since the ghost mother Marowak to just DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODGE the Pokeball thrown at it. Ha, there are other examples obviously, but I was reminded of that moment from the games and the adorable poison-type thought it was a game being played with the countless Beast Balls thrown at it. It's ironic how this Poipole is put into a Beast Ball while the one you receive in the games comes in a regular Pokeball!
Either way, I'm sure this will be a plot point later on from the world it hails from (and why it like's Pikachu's light so much): the one housing Necrozma.
