Well it's good to know that Meltan can use the move headbutt and even though this is the second 'Pokemon gets lost plot' for the SM series it was still alright.
I know Don usually does this, but since nobody else is here at the moment, here's the preview for the next episode.
Glad to see Meltan in battle and I hope Ash uses a Z-move as well; plus seeing him battle a dragon type gym leader is going to be great to see since we haven't seen him battle one since Johoto and it would make up for him not getting a chance to battle Drayden back BW. By the way with all this ninja stuff going on in the next episode it kind of makes me hope for a Greninja reference or something, oh well that just wishful thinking on my part.

You can replace "Satoshi-Gekkouga Appears!" with some other Rock music when Ryuki and his Pokémon are rocking out and it works just fine.

True but it's nice to see that the staff stills remember Ash-Greninja and it's good to see them do a call back to it, though I wonder how they would react to meeting it face to face?

Well to answer mrmoon2's question, Ash seems to make it a point that he teaches almost as much suitable Pokemon as possible Aerial Ace. Ever since he went out of his way back in Hoenn to learn the technique, then after the scottish Swellow (AYE LADIE!!!) he did so to the then-Starly, and after that, all of his birds and a few non-birds like Krookodile and Greninja. Now he seems to have the whole process memorized and teaching it to any Pokemon nowadays is child's play.
I too personally found the Ash-Greninja soundtrack moment to be a clever yet small reference. Especially as you know, the whole ninja-themed episodes and Greninja is a ninja. The show reusing soundtracks (especially from the movies) and Godzilla monster roars is pretty common and I doubt that frog is ever going to come back or even be brought up. If so, well the way the staff have written the Sun & Moon series, and if they keep this up for the next generation, then I'm confident that they can handle it a whole lot better. They seemed to of learned their lesson and how.

"Satoshi-Gekkouga Appears!" was also used as background music in SM101 when Satoshi and Dia used their Z-Move against Akuziking.
