New summaries for SM051 and SM052-As well as using Gladio's theme for when Silvady broke its mask and the different Lilie themes that match her mood, other spot on music choices are:
"Welcome Back" which plays when Lilie gets taken around places from her past by Hoshigumo. It's both happy and emotional, fitting for such a scene.
And "Crisis in Alola" from when Lilie remembers her traumatic past. The anime's one is more orchestrated and dramatic, thus suiting such a flashback.
I know TPCI won't keep them all, but they better keep Lilie's themes, Gladio's theme and his battle theme as they have got the most perfect placements.

I'll try getting into the "congratulations on 1000 episodes" spirit by listing off the only things I ever liked about the JP version.
-Ikue Otani -The First Movie -The Legend of Thunder -Every OP except "Rivals!!" and "XY&Z" -A fair bit of the BGM (that is, most anything from before XY) -Guest VAs -Anything outside of the Ash Pokemon continuity (Origins, Generations, PMD specials, etc.) is just as good in Japanese as in English.

-A fair bit of the BGM (that is, most anything from before XY) What to you think of the Sun & Moon music? I mean from what you've heard before you stopped watching the original version.... Please note that those clips I posted all contain anime adaptions of the Sun & Moon game music, just thought you'd like to know.

Please note that those clips I posted all contain anime adaptions of the Sun & Moon game music, just thought you'd like to know. Before SM021 came and insulted the memory of who died in it, it was better than XY's music in the same sense that having a cold is better than having influenza. That is, barely an improvement. Thing is, I've come to realize that Shinji Miyazaki really sucks at remixing, whether it be game music or (as M18JP and M20JP proved) his own older work. I've never preferred a show remix of game music over the original track, and as far ash show/movie-exclusive tracks go, same kind of deal. I still can't believe he took this amazingness (which pales in comparison to what replaced it, but still) and turned it into this utter bastardization. The Sun and Moon games have amazing soundtracks. I'm sticking to how they sound in the games.

But you did seem to like the remakes of the Kanto series music in the Japanese version of the 20th Pokémon movie when you watch it while in Japan.
I guess I'll have to wait and see if TPCI keeps any of these, although to be honest the one I want them to keep the most is what I can describe as a violin and piano version of Gladion's theme (sorry, I'm not good at music descriptions and I'm not even sure if I got the instruments right, there might be more there) which plays in episode 47. It's a lot different from what you except an anime adaptation for a game music to be, in which they sound pretty much similar to each other, of course I know TPCI, starting from the XY series, replaces emotional background music, but I hope they make an exception here.

Literally the only good remix on there was that of "Tears After the Cloudy Weather" (which got replaced in the dub by an instrumental mix of the ending song "I Choose You", to just as successful emotional results as the JP track); all the others sucked. Only the new stuff was good, which made up less than half that soundtrack.

Jesus Christ, calm down. I wasn't even aggressive in my post..... I'm saving that for my rant on how TPCI ruined the nostalgia by replacing said soundtrack.....I just made a mistake. Okay?

Sorry, I should've made clear that "WHAT?" was surprise and not aggression. But yeah, to me, Shinji Miyazaki ruined the nostalgia first. All Ed Goldfarb, Akhil Gopal, and newcomer Kc Daugirdas did was give it pleasant new memories. Besides, the movie's technically an AU, anyway. One more thing: if you insist on letting TPCi have it for giving M20 a new soundtrack, you'll have more believability and credibility if you actually see it. Otherwise, you'll just sound like you're mindlessly complaining. Please don't take that personally; I'm advising you to avoid doing that since I've been guilty of that myself in the past to bad results.

Don't worry, I got my own views on what fits best, which is why I'm praising episode 49's background music so much. Anyway, new summaries:

Full summary and voice cast for SM051- SM050 screenshots: filb.de/anime/sm/050 and SM051 preview video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK5McJvtBT4Lusamine is showing signs of her becoming completely obsessed with Ultra Beasts, that creepy smile upon seeing Uturoid says it all. Although she manages to resist her urges, being in the Ultra Beasts' world will most likely cause her fascination of them to overwhelm. Hoshigumo having its energy drained out to open up an Ultra Worm hole has caused it to evolve into Cosmoem and next up is Solgaleo. Having sinister music play while Sauboh was acting like a magical girl is the greatest uses of extremely unfitting music that you will hear.

To make it more clearer: it is the part were Kapu-Kokeko senses Cosmog's evolution to Cosmoem and cries out.
The way the Sun & Moon anime goes from fun and happy to dark and creepy in a single episode is just amazing.
I really think with that (plus the more fluid animation) this might end up being my favourite Pokémon TV series.
Also I wonder if we'll ever get another episode with a soundtrack as amazing as episode 49. An episode like that deserved it.
Really wish Ryu would make an exception for this episode. And reminder all the tracks I've praised are Sun and Moon music.
Also if you're wondering; there's like one XY music, but it's not a big deal, it plays during Sauboh and Gladio's average battle.

wanted to stop by and wish everyone here a happy Thanksgiving. While I'm not from America, that was nice of you. But I think this is something you should put in the Shoutbox.
