So... Ash-Greninja will lose his powers because the danger to Kalos is over? Or will Ash have to leave him in Kalos for some reason? Whatever the case, I'm expecting that episode with dread.

Last episode was basically 'Alan's denouement' overall. Was nice to see Ash getting a bit of recognition while it lasts, but for what should've been a Clyde [Clemont] episode, it was spread overall.
I guess the Champion of Kalos does deserve a significant portion for his last real episode, no?

New summaries for the final two episodes and the/one of the special episode(s) - there might be another - of XY & Z: Here is a brand new trailer for the Pocket Monsters Sun & Moon series of the anime: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mIJnSG3YqMThe more they show off this new animation-style the better it gets. I just love how vibrant, fun and fluid everything looks in this. I am also glad to see, reading comments on Youtube and Tumblr, that it's growing on a lot of people who were originally put off by it. This gave new light to the Pokémon fandom, that people actually learned you shouldn't judge based on one preview, but rather wait.

The latest episode was nice, and it confirmed one absolute fact once and for all: Alain doesn't give a SHIT about any of his Pokémon except Charizard. Charizard was the only one of his team who battled Lysandre, received a medal and appeared in the group photograph with the twerps. I get that it's his signature Pokémon, but COME ON. This just proves that I was right when I said that if Alain had used his whole team against Lysandre, they would have lost to Mega Gyarados just as easily as Ash's team. What kind of Trainer lets two pseudo-legendaries lose to a Pikachu? Granted, it was Ash's Pikachu, but still.
Sorry. As you can see, I'm still not exactly a fan of Alain, even though I know that the writers are the real villains.

New summary for XY&Z046- So in the latest episode, Alan said to Satoshi that, despite not knowing about Fleur-de-lis' plans, Alan still felt that he needed to atone for his mistakes.
You would also notice that Alan and Lizardon are no longer wearing their Mega Stones, I'm guessing Alan wants noting to do with those 'tainted' items.
Alan is a really lovely guy, all he wanted was to protect the ones he cares about, but he was unknowingly used as a pawn in the Flare Gang's evil plans.
The more people hate on Alan, the more I like him. All you lot are doing is hating him for winning a tournament, meanwhile I'm liking him for his character.
Also, with the fandom whining at Satoshi's loss in the Kalos League, that Alva kid being excited to meet Satoshi, a finalist of that League, made me happy.
Alva didn't care that Satoshi lost, he knows making it to the finals is an amazing achievement and that person deserves a lot of respect for getting that far.

Alva didn't care that Satoshi lost, he knows making it to the finals is an amazing achievement and that person deserves a lot of respect for getting that far. I couldn't agree more. I really hope Alain could ultimately find closure for this. He was never really portrayed as a villain, but more like a rival that had been used as a pawn. At first I was angry Ash lost, but as time went on, I begun to realize that it wasn't as bad as people are saying. The battle was great; Ash did use good strategies to get him as far as he did; took out two potential threats fairly quickly with Pikachu (trust me, those two would have really caused him trouble if he didn't use Pikachu at his best); and he kept the battle close the entire match. It's not like Alain dominated the match, then Ash tried a comeback attempt, got far, but still lost. He kept it within one pokémon (lead or trail) the entire match, and it came down to the final pokémon. He only trailed one time, but that didn't last very long as Greninja took Bisharp out in one hit without getting damaged himself.

I like Alan. Would've liked him to lose at the League, but that wasn't a bad loss, compared to the last two humiliations [and I'm sorry, Don, but Cameron could've been an idiot without needing the 5 mon handicap].
Pretty sure the fact he basically accepted Professor Handsome's offer to work with him again counts as closure, though I wonder what Manon's going to do.

Yeah, yeah, Alain is a great guy who just wanted to protect his loved ones and his battle against Ash was pretty awesome. It still doesn't change the fact that he only seems to care about one of his Pokémon. Would it have killed the writers to make Sycamore hand out medals for the rest of Alain's team as well? Or were those medals only meant for those who battled Team Flare? If so, then maybe it's a good thing that only Charizard was included in the group photo. It's still sad, though.

Based on the preview, it seems like Grenja [Greninja] is going with Zygovsky [Zygarde], or something.

To be honest, the more I get from the previews, the more I realize that I might not mind the slapstick humor; especially after the intense Kalos arc that ended (or will end soon) it's good that there will be some lighthearted humor. I just hope that Team Rocket will keep with the humor as well. It gave them some real personality that was lacking in Black and White.

While I hate that people are judging it too soon, I am also glad people are going into the Sun & Moon anime with low expectations.
Because it means, if it turns out to be very good, then the surprise from such a thing will make it way more enjoyable to that person.
When people hyped XY&Z too much they only look for the positive aspect of the thing, they never considered the negative and... yeah...
And they end up blaming the writers for giving out 'false hope' when it was all them, there were no hints at Satoshi winning the Kalos League.
Nobody went into high expectations with Diamond and Pearl and look how it turned out, the fandom was tolerable during that era because of it.
Now I'm not saying we should all go into a series with low expectations, but rather keep it standard, because you don't know what will happen.

I've been wondering if Delia is going to move to Alola too, considering this time they had both her and Mr. Mime in the teasers. Why isn't she shacking up with the other Oak, then? Any dodger theories up?
