I'm not so sure about that, I've mostly seen people say that it was the best Kalos Gym Battle so far and I agree. Of course, I also realize that no fandom is truly a fandom without some haters, so you don't have to tell me that. We can discuss it all once the episode guide is up.

It basically depends on the character. In fact one of my friends on Tumblr was especially upset by it.
I will reveal what this is and what that person's opinions on it once the episode has aired in America.

New dub titles- JP: Conclusion! Numerugon Goes Over the Rainbow!! US: Beyond the Rainbow!
JP: The Worst Luck Ever? Eureka vs. Nyasu!! US: So You're Having a Bad Day!It basically depends on the character. In fact one of my friends on Tumblr was especially upset by it. I will reveal what this is and what that person's opinions on it once the episode has aired in America. I ended up revealing it on the Japanese Episode Discussion thread, which I hope you have read (along with the other stuff) gotta know thoughts on both. Or you can save the discussion on Ash's Gym match against Clemont to the episode guide thread, I don't mind. Not sure if I will repeat it, we'll have to see.

JP: Three Rival Battle Victories! Looking Toward Tomorrow!! US: Rivals- Today and Tomorrow!
BREAKING NEWS! ....Well not really, but it's still important:
The boy who battled Clemont in his Gym is named Sawyer and not Scottie as the closed captions told us.

Sawyer, huh? Damn, I'd already gotten used to calling him Scottie. Fucking TPCI and their placeholder names.

Three new dub titles- XYSP - JP: The Strongest Mega Evolution ~Act III~ XYSP - US: Pokémon; Mega Evolution III
JP: The Wind, the Egg, and Onbat! US: A Not-So-Flying-Start!
JP: The Pokemon Sky Relay Challenge! Fly, Onbat!! US: A Relay in the Sky!So there's the dub for the third part of the Mega Evolution special. TPCI are way past the original broadcast position, but at least it's here, on 15th August.
So over here we have the official soundtrack for the second Pokémon XY movie: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdLmG_xCrOCqfu_o1GZPjW3yCNkLDdy8mListen to it and you will hear some familiar music. That's right, it contains remixes and samples of music from previous movies, there's nostalgic music in this. And there's a good reason why I'm posting this here. Because if TPCI continues with their replacing music in movies, this what you dub-only watchers will miss. On a hopefully lighter note, the latest Pikachu short might be safe from TPCI's sudden case of replacing bg music in Pokémon movies, for you see, it has none:- dogasu.bulbagarden.net/movies/xy_archdjinn_rings_hoopa/archdjinn_rings_hoopa_director_yuyama_interview.html. Also Dogasu's notes regarding all of this; This is one of my favourite pieces from the movie 18 soundtrack. Can you recognized everything here? There's also a remix of a song from the original TV series.

New titles, these took a while for me to post because they came out of order-
JP: Fierce Fighting in the Monster Ball Factory! Pikachu vs. Nyasu!! US: A Frenzied Factory Fiasco!
JP: Tailnar and Yancham! The Enchanting Fire Performance!! US: Performing with Fiery Charm!
JP: The Satoshi Who Leapt Through Time! Rotom's Wish!! US: Rotom's Wish!
JP: The Pumpdjinn Festival! Farewell Bakeccha!? US: A Festival Trade! A Festival Farewell?
Due to it not airing before the Sky Relay episode, the Pikachu movie episode was most likely moved to air near/at the same day as the 18th Pokémon movie.

The "Gotta Dance" short was music-based, and it got dubbed. I don't think TPCi will get cold feet. As for the actual movie, if the soundtrack gets replaced, I hope it'll remix the dub themes from the first three dub movies. If not, then I hope for it to be fitting and memorable.

Yeah, um, there's a VERY HUGE difference; "Secret Base of the Dancing Pokémon/Gotta Dance" has got background music. However "Pikachu and the Pokémon Band" HAS NONE AT ALL (besides from at the title screen and ending song, both preformed by Little Glee Monsters) the background music is all provided by the Pokémon's voices and that's were the dub has problems as the music is all written for the Japanese Pokémon cries.

Even still, there's no point in not trying. But if they end up not doing it after all, you have my permission to say "I told you so," and I'll say the same if it is dubbed.

Where the fuck did you even get the impression that I said "It might not even get dub?" That's what Dogasu said, not me.
All I had said was TPCI won't ruin it with their terrible background music, because there is no background music to replace.

Okay, that's good. Ah, I fear the dub of the Hoopa movie and not just for the possibility that TPCI will replace the majority of the original score again.
But there's also Hoopa's dub voice, I really hoped that is just a place holder, because TPCI has done a much better job with movie character's voices.
