OK, I got to get going. I watched SNL and had to pay attention 100% because there was some wind blowing, and I had to make sure I didn't miss anything if the tv started glitching. Then I paid some bills, and finally looked at some online stuff, so it's after 1am.
Before I get to this week, I have to go back to last week. I forgot to talk about the label for the container of crispy shrimp. The brand name on the front is t&t. They were made in Vietnam. The back of the container says T&T Trading, which is out of LA.
I will do the snacks after the actual meals.
Sat: This was an experiment meal. I made 2 different things. First was the meat item. It was frozen shrimp that I thawed out. This time I took the bag out of the freezer and put it in the fridge Fri night /Sat morning. Some hours before I ate, I took the bag out of the fridge since it seemed a bunch of the shrimp were still frozen. I put some canola oil in the pan and heated it up. I then put shrimp in the pan. After a few minutes, I flipped them over and cooked them for a few more minutes. I cooked them in 2 or 3 batches. They were really good. I drank the water out of the bag, which was good. After the shrimp was cooked, I ladled some oil from my deep frying pot into the pan. I shredded 4 potatoes with the cheese grater. I didn't do them all at once. I would press a bunch of the potato shreds together. I then took a few of those clumps and put them in the pan. After a few minutes, I would flip them over and cook them a few more minutes. I cooked them in a bunch of batches. For the last batch, I put some corn starch on the tops of them. As for the taste, they were really good. They came out really crispy. The ones with corn starch got a bit of crust on the tops.
Sun: I just had a bag of Chili Cheese flavored Fritos. They were good.
Mon: This was another experiment. It was based on my fried potatoes/rice and veggies. Instead of using potatoes or rice, I used ramen noodles. I cooked 3 packages of Maruchan Beef flavor in my pot. After they were done cooking and I mixed in the flavor packets, I put the lid on the pot. I cooked these over an hour beforehand so the noodles would absorb some of the liquid and they would cool off soon. For the veggies, I used the normal cabbage, onion, and half a bag of frozen broccoli. I didn't add any spices/condiments to the pan. When the veggies were cooked to my satisfaction, I turned the burner down, then poured the ramen noodles in. I stirred everything up to get the veggies evenly distributed. Since I didn't want the noodles browned, I stirred the pan a bunch. I just kept it on the heat to mostly steam off some of the liquid from the ramen, but also to heat the noodles up a bit. This was really good. I also had my 3 items while eating. They were also good. The Sriracha seemed to go well with this.
Speaking of Sriracha, I am really low. Because of this, I didn't use it for my Wed and Fri meals. I know I used it when cooking my Tue meal, but can't recall if I used it while eating.
Tue: I made my fried rice and veggies. I used all the spices/condiments, except for turmeric. I want to try using it with the potatoes first. The meal was good. I used the pepper and soy sauce with my meal. They were good. Like I just said, I don't know if I used the Sriracha.
Wed: I made my fried rice and veggies. For spices/condiments, I added some of the crab boil stuff to the pan; I also did so to the water when I cooked the rice. It was good. I used pepper and soy sauce with my meal. They were good.
Thu: I got fast food. I went to Arby's and Burger King. I got 2 orders of onion rings at Arby's, which were good. Like always, I had the stuff hours after I got it. And also pretty much like always, the stuff not being hot affected the taste. I will put the items in list form: 1 Arby's Deep Fried Turkey Club: This was good; actually better than I thought it would be. There was one negative. It was on some fancy bun, so it was a bit on the small side. 2 Arby's Cajun Deep Fried Turkey: It was ok, but I thought it would taste better. I also thought it would be spicy. I think both of those factors are due to it not being hot. 3 Burger King Bacon King: This was pretty good. 4 Burger King Farmhouse King: This wasn't as good as I thought it would be. For the first few bites, the cheese was the dominant taste, which I don't like. It has an egg, but I couldn't taste it.
Except for the Cajun, the other sandwiches had bacon on them. I think I could taste it on only one of them, but don't hold me to that.
I had them in the order 3 1 4 2.
Fri: For the most part, you can look at Wed, but there was one change. During the meal, I also used turmeric even though it meant to be used as a cooking ingredient and not a condiment. It was ok.
Now for the snacks. To save time, I'll omit most stuff I've reviewed before.
I'm still snacking on the candy.
I had the other jar of Fisher honey roasted peanuts. They were good.
I finished the summer sausage, which was good.
I finished the shredded wheat, which was good. There were a ton of crumbs left in the bag. I mixed them with canola oil. They were good.
I had a bag of store-brand "Popped Potato Crisps". They were Sour Cream & Onion flavor. I guess they were good. I was more noticing the different texture of the chips. They are baked. Checking the ingredients list, they are not technically chips since they are a cooked potato batter/dough instead of sliced potatoes. They were all the same size and shape, which was the first clue that they are more like Pringles/Stax.
On Fri I went to the h/n/o store and got a bag of dark chocolate peanut clusters. I had some last night, and some right now. They are good. I bought a bag of something else there, which I will start snacking on after I finish the peanut clusters.
That's all for this week. I'll have my dinner in a bit. I'll review that next time. Next week is Thanksgiving, but I won't be going to my parents house to have a turkey dinner. I may pick up some of that kind of stuff at a grocery store on Fri if one has some in the deli hot section. I will be doing at least 2 experiments next week.
Until then!

We’ve come to the end of another week, so that means another week of reviews from me. Before I get to the main part, I have a few things to mention.
First, is that when I went to Arby’s, I also bought a snack. Since I was there in time for the $1 sliders, I bought a pizza one. Since I was having lower intestinal pressure, I didn’t feel like eating it in the car. I had it some time after I got home. It was really good; despite the fact that it had cooled off. I remember that I was able to taste both meats(peperoni, salami) and the sauce. It was worthy of doing the eyes closed thing if I did stupid shit like that.
Second, is I have been inaccurate in my descriptions. When I’ve been adding “everything” in the pan, I have actually been omitting mustard. I didn't want to be without it in case Sonic does the 50c corndogs or I buy some hotdogs at the store(like I did Fri).
Third I had a can of Vienna sausages. The only reason I am mentioning is that I put them in the fridge and the liquid gooified. I think the were the Brookdale brand from ALDI.
I think there was something else I wanted to say, but I can't remember.
Now to the food. I will list the snacks after.
Sat: I had 3 cans of Armour chili. It was good. It was not greasy, and I actually had to scrape it out of the cans. I actually ate Sun morn. This chili had a major fart factor. I was still farting at work on Mon. I also had a bag of Lay's Kettle chips. They were the Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese flavor. I guess they were ok. There was some kind of flavor, but nothing I could identify.
Sun: Nothing to mention.
Mon: First I need to mention something. I was at the end of the head of cabbage, and the little bit left was starting to go bad since it was slimy. To try to preserve it, on Sun I mixed it with some Sriracha, mustard, and red pepper flakes. I made my fried potatoes and veggies. I added everything except mustard(there was some in the bad cabbage) and turmeric(I'll get back to this in a jiff) I may have remembered to add the Sriracha and soy sauce water, but can't recall. As for the turmeric, I didn't add any because I was running low on Sriracha; let me explain. I didn't think I would have enough to use with my meal, so I wouldn't be able to properly evaluate the use of turmeric. I did end up having enough(grrr). The meal was good with plain and with the 3 items.
Tue: I made fried rice and veggies. When I cooked the rice, I used some water that I used to rinse a chicken broth box. I remembered to add Sriracha and soy sauce water to the pan. I think I also added a little bit of mustard. I added everything else except turmeric. This time it is because I didn't use it Mon. I want to compare stuff between the potato and rice versions, and that's a little hard when I don't do them on consecutive days. I did get a new bottle off Sriracha after work. The meal was good alone and with my 3 items.
Wed: I went to Arby's. I got 2 orders of onion rings which were good. I also got 4 French dip sandwiches due to the 2 for $6 deal. They were good. I did have a concern. When I was driving home, 2 of the au jus(dipping liquid) containers fell on the floor of the car(won't elaborate). They didn't open up, but I was concerned that some had leaked out.
Thu: I had almost all new stuff. I'll do the stuff in list form. I'll start with the meat items.
Brookdale Chicken Breast: It was good. It looked and tasted like the chicken in the Sweet Sue chicken and dumplings if you don't cook it.
StarKist Selects Chopped Atlantic Sea Clams: The liquid and the clams themselves didn't taste as good as the little bit I sampled by itself when I used them previously.
Next is the veggies. I got them all at Walmart. I had them plain and with spices/condiments. This will be long.
collard greens: These were Walmart's Great Value brand. When I first tasted them, the flavor was like some other veggie I've had before, maybe spinach. Eating it later, it didn't taste so good. pepper: It was ok. garlic: Couldn't taste a difference. red pepper: Couldn't taste a difference, but added some heat. paprika: Couldn't taste a difference. chili powder: Couldn't taste a difference. mustard: It was ok. soy sauce: It just tasted like soy sauce. Sriracha: Couldn't taste a difference. turmeric: It wasn't good, and maybe somehow tasted salty.
okra: This was the Margaret Holmes brand. I've had okra before when it's been breaded. When eating those, I will sometimes pull a few out of the breading and eat them(and the breading after). These okra tasted like the "naked" ones. They were decent, but the breaded ones taste better. pepper: It was ok. garlic: Couldn't taste a difference. red pepper: Couldn't taste a difference, but added some heat. paprika: Couldn't taste a difference. chili powder: Couldn't taste a difference. mustard: It was ok. soy sauce: It just tasted like soy sauce. Sriracha: It just added heat. turmeric: It wasn't good.
white hominy: These were the Bush's brand, who are famous for their beans. Hominy is corn that has been cooked in an alkali solution(such as lye in olden times). While it has its own taste, there is also a hint of corn, and a bit of chemical taste, which probably comes from the alkaloid. I'm pretty sure I liked it. pepper: It was ok. garlic: Couldn't taste a difference. red pepper: Couldn't taste a difference. paprika: Couldn't taste a difference. chili powder: I forgot to review this. mustard: It was ok. soy sauce: Couldn't taste a difference. sriracha: It just added heat. turmeric: It was ok.
I forgot to try these things with the canola oil, which kind of pisses me off.
Fri: 3 of the 4 things I had were turkey, stuffing, and gravy from the hot food section of a grocery store. I'm just mentioning it to say that I paid a FUCKTON of $ for it(like almost $50). You would think that they would have marked this stuff down since it was most likely from Thu or Wed, and that most people had their fill of this kind of stuff on Thanksgiving.
It is time for the snacks.
I've still been snacking on the candy and peanut clusters.
I had a can of Vienna sausages from Brookdale. Again, the liquid gooified after being put in the fridge. I wonder if they tweaked the recipe for the liquid because it gooified the last 2 times after being in the fridge, and I don't think they were in there for a long time.
One night, I took the shredded wheat and put canola oil on them. Some I had with just that alone, which were good. On others, I put some turmeric on them. Those were ok. I can't remember what I put on the rest, but I'm leaning toward pepper. I think I should do a more formal tasting, and type of my impressions when I eat them.
I also snacked on some here and there, especially when I was cooking my meals. I had a few(about 4) tonight. I wanted to take it easy so I don't get filled up before my meal.
Mon I had a bag of Kettle Brand chips. They were the Jalapeno flavor. They were good. There was some heat. This is a do-over because the previous bag I had seemed to be stale.
I also had a can of Pringles. They were the Pizza flavor. They were good, but any resemblance to pizza is debatable.
On Wed, when I went to Arby's, I got another Pizza slider. I don't think it tasted as good as the week before.
That looks like that is all for this week.
I still have to make "tonight's" meal. It will be an experiment. It will also be controversial; or not. Stay tuned next week for my report.

Good morning! This is an out of the ordinary posting for me. I'm kind of waiting for "Fri's" meal to warm up a bit more after being in the fridge.
As you may know, I like to be accurate in my posts. Unfortunately, I have not lived up to the standards I have set for myself. For reasons still yet unknown, I have been mis-reporting a spice the past few weeks. I said I used turmeric(I also misspelled it as turmeric). I had actually bought and used cumin.

Now that that's out of the way, I guess I'll go for now. I'll be back to typing after 1030pm, but I don't know when it'll actually be posted. See you later!

OK, I'm back. I was really paying attention to SNL tonight. I don't know who Saoirse Ronan is, but she's fucking cute.
I'll do the snacks after the meals.
Sat: Finally we get to the controversy I was alluding to last week. I made a sandwich(actually 2) that I called the Huxtable. I won't explain the story behind the name now, I want to get done. I was finally able to make this because loaves of Italian bread, tomatoes, and lettuce were on sale at the same time. When I went to the store to get the Italian bread, I saw the loaves were wide and a bit short. I decided to buy two. If they were long and skinny, I just would have bought one. When I was ready to eat, I first sliced each loaf in half. I then took a package of Oscar Mayer bologna and cut the stack of slices in half. I put a half on each loaf. I then did the same with a package of Oscar Mayer cotto salami. I then took a package of store-brand peperoni, and tried to divide in two. I then put one half on each loaf. For cheese, I put an 8oz block of mozzarella on each loaf. I didn't cut the cheese with my knife. I saw my cheese grater has some kind of triple slice thing on one of the short sides. I took a block and would run the end on the grater. It made 3 slices at once. They were a bit on the thick side though. I then sliced up tomatoes and put them on each sandwich. I had 6 tomatoes, and used 5 of them. I then put lettuce on them. As for the taste, it was a bit odd. There seemed to be no taste. It's either that the bread was so thick, or there were so many components vying for my tongue's attention. I finished one sandwich, and ate maybe a third of the other one.
Sun: Noting here, but I have something for the snack section.
For the Mon-Thu meals, I used the Sriracha water. I also used soy sauce water, but I cant remember what days, except that I didn't use any of either Wed.
Mon: I made my fried potatoes and veggies. I added all my spices and condiments, including the cumin. I might have added a dollop of mustard too. I had the stuff plain and with my 3 items. It was good. I don't think there was any difference in taste with the addition of the cumin.
I also did an experiment. Since I had a lot of leftover lettuce, I wanted to try something. I've seen cooking shows where they've taking stuff and wrapped it in a leaf of something like cabbage or lettuce. It was ok. I had the head of lettuce, in the bag, sitting in my lap. I seemed to taste the lettuce more when it was colder.
I almost forgot to mention that before I ate my main meal, I had half of the last tomato that I sliced up. I put cumin on one slice, and it wasn't bad. I had pepper on the rest, and they were good.
Tue: I made my fried rice and veggies. I think I may have added cumin to the water for the rice. I added all my spices and condiments, including the cumin. I might have added a dollop of mustard too. I had the stuff plain and with my 3 items. It was good. I don't think there was any difference in taste with the addition of the cumin. I did the lettuce thing again. This time I left the lettuce on my desk, but I can't recall if it stayed cool.
I also had the rest of the tomato, sliced. I had pepper on them, and they were good.
Wed: Before I mention the main component of my meal, I have to mention something else. I opened a jar of olives. They were the Specially Selected brand from ALDI. They are queen olives, which are bigger than the ones you usually see. Additionally, the ones you usually see are stuffed with pimentos. These were stuffed with pieces of jalapeno peppers. As for the taste, they didn't seem to have a strong olive flavor. Also, I didn't seem to taste any jalapeno flavor. The other odd thing was that when I first opened the jar, it didn't taste much effort. The olives didn't seem to be tampered with. Maybe it's that the manufacturer figures that people who buy fancy olives are not good at opening jars, even though they are sold at ALDI. I'll get back to them in a bit.
I made my fried rice and veggies. I added cumin to the water for the rice and the pan. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
I did the lettuce thing again. The inner leaves are smaller and less flexible. I also tried wrapping an olive with lettuce. I also tried wrapping an olive and rice together.
Thu: I made my fried rice and veggies. I added cumin, Sriracha, and soy sauce to the rice water. I added everything to the pan. It was good, both alone and with my 3 items.
I also had the last of the olives and lettuce. Since the lettuce was so stiff, I couldn't wrap it. I had to make "sandwiches" with it.
Fri: I had the rest of my sandwich. I seemed to have the same problem regarding the taste. I think I got a lot of the tomato taste though. Also, the cheese was starting to liquefy. I think that was because to tomatoes were on top of it. It was most likely some combo of the water and acidity.
I also had something else. It was a BIG(13oz) bag of TGI Friday's Onion Rings snack. They were good. To me, they taste similar to the TGI Friday's Mozzarella Sticks snack. They don't taste anything like Funyuns.
Now for the snacks.
I have still been snacking on the Halloween candy and chocolate peanut clusters.
I finished a jar of crunchy Skippy peanut butter. The jar says both "Extra Crunchy" and "Super Chunk". It was good. I'll open up another jar, which I'll review once finished
I've also been snacking on the shredded wheat. Like I've said before, they taste good with canola oil. The best way to have them is put a few in your mouth. Then put some oil in. As you're chewing, add more shredded wheat until you don't taste the oil.
I also tried them with my spices. I would put canola oil on them first to help the spices stick. I did them on 2 different days. I'll do them in list form.
Mon red pepper: ok pepper: ok paprika: not that great
Wed cumin: decent garlic powder: good chili powder: good
As for tonight, while I was watching SNL, I tried some with Sriracha. On some of them, I put canola oil on first. They were ok, and there wasn't any difference between the ones with and without canola oil.
On Sun, I finished up a box of cereal. It was the Oops! All Berries variety of Cap'n Crunch. It was ok. It had a generic fruity flavor. Even though the berries come in different colors, they did not have different flavors. I also opened up another box of cereal, which I will review once finished.
On Mon, I had a bag of Late July tortilla chips. They were the Buffalo Queso flavor. They did have a buffalo flavor. The first 1 or 2 chips had some hints of nacho Doritos flavor. There was a good amount of heat. I don't know if I'll get them again due to my cheese thing.
On Wed I had a bag of store-brand potato chips from the h/n/o store. They were the Hatch Chile flavor. They were good. As for the heat, there was just a little bit on my lips.
I also had a can of Brookdale Vienna sausages, which were good. Again, the liquid gooified after being in the fridge.
On Fri, I bought some stuff in the ready-made section of the deli counter at a grocery store. I usually don't review this kind of stuff, but 2 of the 3 things were brand new to me.
First, I had a chicken liver. I didn't really like it. It had a bit of an iron taste. Also, the color wasn't too appetizing. Thankfully I got a packet of hot sauce and used some on the liver.
The second item was 2 chicken gizzards. They didn't taste too good either. I also used some of the hot sauce on these. I also didn't like the texture. It was like biting into a chewy tube.
Another thing about those items was that the worker told me that they had been sitting out for a while. She said if I waited, they could cook up new stuff. Since I was in a hurry, and wasn't going to eat the stuff right away anyway, I just got what they had. I don't know if getting fresh stuff would have affected the taste.
The final item was 2 chicken tenders. They were good. I did use the few drops of hot sauce on them to use it up, but they were good without it.
As I was typing this, I had a bag of Clancy's microwave popcorn. Again, I cooked it for 1:41. There were only like 3 unpopped kernels. After it was done, I mixed in some canola oil. It was good.
That's it for now. It is now after 5am(I did take a nap for a bit under 30min). I am going to have my "Sat" meal in a bit. I will have either a can of Pringles or Lay's Stax. I may do a review, depending on what I have.
For this coming week, I think I will do an experiment for Fri in how I prepare something I've made before. I also think I will do another experiment. But, it is not a new food/ingredient, or cooking method. Check back next week to see if I do it, and what it is.
Adios!

This week has me remembering the saying that apparently has been misattributed to the Chinese: May you live in interesting times. Well, this week has been "interesting". I'll mention these incidents since they did influence my food choices.
On Thu, I went to Walmart to pick up my prescriptions. I was in a good mood because I didn't have to wait in line long. I get in the car to stop at the grocery store across the street to get the night's meal. I turn they key and the car doesn't start. I just hear a ticking noise. After looking under the hood and getting pissed off, I went over to the auto dept. I told the lady what happened and asked if they had any battery testing equipment. She had a worker go out with me to my car with a box that jump starts cars. He did, and I drove my car to the service area. The worker hooked up a battery tester, and said mine was fucked. I had them put a new one in. I had to wait quite a while. I got home after 6.
At work, we are moving to another area of the complex(actually where we originally were). They abruptly sprung it on us that it was going to be this weekend.
FUCK!!!! I just had to deal with other shit, so I've been delayed even longer!
Ok, I'm done. As I said above, we were getting moved at work this weekend. Actually, what the manager said was our group was moving Mon. I don't know about you, but to me that means that at the end of Mon, you put your shit in the boxes and you go to the new area Tue morning. Well, on Fri, I get some stuff and start working. The assistant mgr asks why my shit isn't boxed up. I told her the mgr guy said we were moving Mon. Then she tells me that's not what he said. Eventually he ends up over there. Then I'm just told to finish my work then pack my shit up. Then there was some other bs I had to deal with at the end of the day.
It's after 130am, and I'm finally getting to the food. I'll list the snacks last even though I did make a list of some stuff, since it'll be easier that way.
Sat: I only have 2 items that I'll review. I had a can of Vienna sausages from Brookdale, which were good. The liquid did gooify. I also opened up the 2nd(of 3) jar of Specially Selected olives. These were stuffed with garlic cloves. They did have a strong olive flavor, but I didn't taste the garlic. I bit one olive in half and ate the garlic clove by itself. It didn't even taste like garlic. I forget which day(M/T/W) I finished them.
Sun: I had a bag of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish pretzels. They were good. I think they are the best hard pretzels.
Mon: I made my fried potatoes and veggies. I used every spice/condiment, including mustard. I also used Sriracha water. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
If you recall from last week, I mentioned a different kind of experiment. Well, I did it. I tried using chopsticks. A while back, I think I pretty much guessed on how to use them. I think I did a decent job for my first try. I only dropped one piece of food on the floor. I don't know what else to really say, except that maybe I should check out YouTube for some pointers. I think I was holding them a bit wrong since my hand would start hurting, and I would have to switch hands.
Tue: I made my fried rice and veggies. I used every spice/condiment, including mustard. I also used Sriracha water. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
I used the chopsticks again. And again, I dropped only 1 piece of food; it kind of sucked because it was a chunk of browned rice. It took me longer to eat then the previous night, because I can't pick up as much rice each time(I'm pretty sure in Asia, they eat their rice differently).
Wed: I had a package of Bar-S turkey hotdogs. I used 4 buns, and the other 4 "naked". I also used all 3 mustards(regular, cayenne, habanero). I also had some onion, though I don't remember how much. I guess you can see some previous posts about my eating methods, and my impressions of the other mustards. I will add that I seem to recall the cayenne mustard being hot this time.
I did have something else. It was a bag of Lay's Kettle chips. They were the Olive Oil & Herbs flavor. I recall liking them. I don't think I tasted olive oil, but I did taste herbs, but couldn't id which ones.
Thu: I'm going to assume you read above about what happened to me. I did not visit the grocery store. Even after everything was resolved, I was still out of it in that I didn't feel like cooking or getting takeout. I felt like having a bag of Flamin Hot Cheetos. Before I ate those, I had a box of Nabisco Chicken in a Biskit crackers they were good. The Cheetos were good. The salt from the CiaB made the burn on my tongue from the Cheetos more intense.
As for the aftereffects, I thought I was going to have to take a FHC dump at work when I was getting some stomach pains, which were activated by stress. After I got home from work(and other stuff, which I'll make a new post for), I took a regular large dump. The FHC came at 9pm. Since it was in my system so long, it didn't look like a miscarriage.
I had a package of Bar-S chicken hotdogs. I fried them up in the pan. I also fried some onion and cabbage. after I was done cooking the other stuff, I put bun #4 in the pan, inside-down, and toasted it a bit. I had enough cabbage and onions for all 4 buns, and 1 or 2 of the naked ones. See above again about the other mustards, but they cayenne wasn't as hot this time.
I did have something else. I took 4 potatoes and cut them crosswise(into disks), and cooked them in my oil pot. They were good, but I'm could have left most of them in longer. There was something interesting. A few of them started to puff up. I both purposefully and inadvertently poked holes in them with my metal tongs. When I took them out of the oil, there was oil under the surface of them that was still bubbling. When I ate these, they were crispy, and better than the regular ones.
I almost for got about a third thing. I opened up the last jar of Specially Selected olives. These are stuffed with blue cheese. When I've had blue cheese in other things, it almost had a nasty taste. The taste of the cheese in the olives was toned way down. The taste of the cheese combined with that of the olives themselves made these olives good; so much so that I am considering buying another jar on Mon.
Now for the snacks.
I think Sun and tonight are the only nights I snacked on the Halloween candy.
I opened a package of summer sausage. I didn't snack on any tonight, and Sun and/or Thu.
I've also snacked on the shredded wheat, except for maybe Sun and Thu, and tonight. On Mon, I tried some with soy sauce; both with and without canola oil. They were ok, and there was no difference between the oil and no oil ones. They got a bit soggy, with no oil ones a bit more so.
Mon I had a package of Maruchan ramen noodles. They were the Chicken flavor and were good. I used the chopsticks with these. It wasn't that hard.
I also had a bag of store-brand "Popped Potato Crisps". They were Salt & Vinegar flavor. They were ok. There was not a lot of vinegar flavor.
Tue I had a bag of popcorn puffs from a company called Gourmet Select. They were good, though a few near the bottom of the bag were a bit salty. I bought these at Menard's. Does anybody else see it as a bit odd buying groceries from a hardware store?
Wed I had the crumbs from the previous 2 boxes of shredded wheat. I mixed it with canola oil. It was good, even though I should have used some more canola oil.
Then I had a bag of pita chips from Snack Factory that I bought at Menards. They were the salt flavor. They were ok. I think they taste a bit like plain Wheat Thins. They didn't seem salty.
I also had a can of Brookdale Vienna sausages. They were good. The liquid gooified. I ate these with the chopsticks. I didn't really have a problem except for getting the first 2 out of the can.
Fri after doing 2 things(see next post), I went to the nearby grocery store and picked up 2 things from the deli area. First was some (mock)crab salad. It was good, but the mayo was a bit out front tastewise. Then I had some breaded catfish. It was good, except that I found a few bone chips.
Later I had a bag of veggie chips from Gourmet Select, which I also bought at Menard's. These were really good. They were not salty.
Right now, I am eating some dark chocolate covered walnuts that I bought at the h/n/o store. They are good.
That's all for now.
Tonight I will be having a can of Brookdale Vienna sausages. Next week I'll post about the liquid and eating them with the chopsticks. I'm also having some Pringles or Lay's Stax, which I'll review, depending on what I have.
It is now after 415am. I guess I'll soldier on with my next post. See you in a bit(or more).

Ok I'm back!
Fri I visited 2 pawn shops.
The first was one I've never been in before. Right inside the door, there was an amp by a company called Heath. I remember there was a company(from the UK?) that had electronics kits you would assemble yourself. After doing a Google search, I confirmed this amp was from that company. I found a catalog page about it: harmony.demont.net/catalogs/Heathkit/1968_catalog_04.jpg Apparently, you could buy it in kit form or preassembled. If this one was a kit, the quality depends on who put it together(that actually applies to factory built stuff also, if you think about it). I think they wanted $149 for it. I don't know if that is a good deal, but I'm thinking no. I then went over to where the guitars were behind the counter. There was an Epi Lp Special. There were 3 BC Rich guitars. 2 of them had the same body shape as the beginner pack ones; the third might have been the Mockingbird shape. There was a Jackson, which I think was a Kelly. There was a Daisy Rock Girl Guitars bass. There was an SG from a company called Spectrum. It appears to be a beginner brand. There was a Fender Mexican Strat. I didn't ask the guy how much it was. There was also a There was also a Rockwood(made by Hohner) superstrat like this: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/31k6M1ggU9L.jpg
I then looked in the glass counter. There was a Digitech BP50. There was also a Rolls PM55P: ineargear.com/hardwired/rollspm55p.html For some reason I was thinking is was the new version of the Morley JD10, or that it was more than what it really is. They wanted $99, which is too high.
I then went to the "edge of the hood" Cash America. When I went inside, I saw that the guitars and amps were behind the counter, and there were way less of them. The keyboards were on a set of shelves at the end of the aisle on the other side of the room from where they used to be. On the top shelf was an Ensoniq SQ1 synth for $250. On the shelf underneath, there was some model of Casio. On the lower shelves, there appeared to be large kb. I didn't feel like crouching down to look at them or move them to do that. I then went over to the counter where the guitars and amps were. Them moving this stuff kind of messed up my concentration, so I couldn't remember a lot of what they had. All I remember for guitars was one of those Ibanez Mikro mini guitars. For amps, there was some big Fender amp that didn't look very old. I think 1 or more knobs was gone. There was an amp that said something about being wireless on the front. It may have been from Nady, a company that makes wireless instrument/microphone equipment. It might have been this: www.nady.com/file/WGA15.jpg If so, I don't know if it came with the transmitter that you plug into your guitar. There were 2 Peavey amps. One was a small teal stripe from the late 80's. The other I think was a Bandit 112, that looked to be from the mid-late 90's. There was also a BOSS MG-10 for $40. I can't find any reviews, so I don't know if it's good or a piece of shit. I then went ofter to the glass counter where there were effects pedals. I don't think there were any inside, but there was stuff on the shelves on the wall. There was some PreSonus box that I can't seem to find online. There was a tiny mixer for $79. Therre was a TC Helicon VoiceLive Play. It was the blue model. I think the box had a price sticker saying $199. There was also some tiny 4 in 1 out mixer for $40. There didn't seem to be a brand name on it.
I'm finally done, at 632am. I'm going to eat after taking a dump, then looking at(not using) some porn. Bye!

Good evening, or should I say good morning, since it's past midnight here. The wind is blowing, so it was a pain watching SNL. I'm watching Bob's Burgers on another channel, which is owned by the NBC affiliate and shares their transmitter, and it's all fucked up too. Speaking of fucked up, I had to deal with bs at work this week.
Now it's food time again. I'll list the snacks after the meals.
Sat: I'll just mention that I had a can of Brookdale Vienna sausages, and the liquid gooified. I also had some of the blue cheese stuffed olives I mentioned last week. I can't remember if I finished them. They were good.
Sun: I had a box of Triscuits. They were the Cracked Pepper & Olive Oil flavor. They were ok. I was a bit nervous about going in to work the next day, so I wasn't in the mood for having other stuff. I could taste the pepper, but not the olive oil. For something that supposedly has olive oil in it, they didn't seem any less dry than other varieties.
Mon: I had my fried x and veggies. Instead of using rice or potatoes, I used 3 packages of Maruchan ramen noodles. They were the shrimp flavor. You can look at a previous post about how I prepared this. It was good. I also tried this with my 3 items. I don't recall what I thought about using these.
For this meal, I used my chopsticks. I didn't have any problems, and I don't think I dropped anything on the floor.
Tue: I made my fried rice and veggies. I used all my spices/condiments, including all 3 mustards. I also used Sriracha water, and maybe soy sauce water. The meal was good alone and with my 3 items.
Again I used the chopsticks. When the rice browns, it sticks together. I got quite a bit of browning, so it was much easier to eat.
Wed: I first warmed up 5 flour tortillas in the pan. Afterward, I put in cabbage. Then onion. Then half a bag of (cooked) frozen broccoli. I then added spices and condiments except for mustard and soy sauce. Finally, I added half a can of store-brand chili beans, after turning the heat down. I tried to mash the beans up a bit as they were cooking. I added pepper to 1 tortilla, Sriracha to another, and both to a third. I don't think I tasted the extra stuff, but all 5 were good.
Thu: I got stuff at a grocery store's Chinese food section. I usually don't mention this stuff, except if I have a reason. Well I am because I do. I bought a bowl of hot and sour soup and a bowl of egg drop soup. I got a meal of sweet and sour chicken and lo mein noodles. I didn't get any sauce, so the chicken was basically chicken nuggets. They don't mix the noodles and chicken together in the container. When I got home, I took the lo mein noodles and split them between to bigger bowls. I then poured a bowl of soup in each bowl. I stirred up each bowl, an put the cover on. I ate many hours later. I ate these bowls of soup and noodles with my chopsticks. I didn't have any problem. After I finished the noodles, each bowl seemed to have quite a bit of soup left. When I've done this previously, there seemed to be less soup left. In those instances, I got the noodles alone; once in another bowl, and the other time in one of those Chinese food cardboard containers. I guess they put in more noodles in those cases as opposed to in the meal. I also ate the chicken pieces with the chopsticks, with no problem.
Fri: This was pretty much a repeat of Wed's meal. I did do a few variations when heating up the tortillas. I won't go into detail.
I also opened up another jar of those blue cheese olives that I bought at ALDI on Mon. They were good.
Again, I got a REEEEEEEAL late start, so it was technically Sat breakfast.
When I was almost done eating my last tortilla, I had to make an unscheduled trip to the shitter. That was most likely due to my (new) snack, which I'll talk about below.
Later when I was in my sleeping recliner, I cut 3 or 4 huge farts, most like due to the chili beans. I then could tell if I tried to fart again, it would also have solid/liquid. I then went and took a dump. After doing some poo a bit later, even later I cut a few more big farts.
Now for the snacks.
I've been snacking on summer sausage.
I've also been snacking on shredded wheat. Usually I just eat some out of the box, often also squirting some canola oil in my mouth. On Wed, I think, I put some in a dish and squirted canola oil over them. I didn't seem to notice the canola oil. I tried again Fri, and this time added more oil. I could notice/taste it this time.
I finished the dark chocolate covered walnuts tonight. They were good.
I'm still snacking on Halloween candy. Tonight, I opened a bag of Snack Size Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. The only reason I'm mentioning them is that surprisingly, the wrappers are freakishly susceptible to static electricity.
Mon I had a bag of Snyder's Pretzel Pieces. They were the Honey Mustard & Onion flavor. There were GOOOOOOOOOOD! I highly recommend these. I am hypothesizing that honey mustard is the best flavor for pretzels. I actually have 2 other flavors of Pretzel Pieces that I will eat and review in the future. I'll see if they unseat the hm flavor.
On Wed, I think, I had a bag of store-brand potato chips from the h/n/o store. They were the Red Chili flavor. They were ok. They weren't very hot; just some heat on my lips.
For Fri, I had a bag of Andy Capp's Hot Fries. They were good. They were hot. I think they have a different flavor than the Chester's Hot Fries. They might even be better. They are cheaper, by $.50, than the Chester's. I am pretty sure these are the cause of my emergency dump.
That looks to be all for this week. I still need to have my meal. I'm still not 100% sure what I want. Since I ate most of the bag of RPBC, among other sweets, I think I'll have something smaller.
With Xmas next weekend, and NY the weekend after, I anticipate doing quite a few reviews of new stuff. Barring any fucked up shit going down, I should have 7 days worth of stuff. It's actually 8 if you count the frozen pizza I'm planning on having on Wed.
I'm also planning on doing both north and south mini pawn-only trips. So stay tuned for those also.
So I guess that's it, bye.

Hello. I was going to start WAAAAY earlier, but I got sidetracked looking at Google Maps/Earth. I'm weird like that. I was debating saying MC, since I'm starting to type this at 12:10am. It's CE already in Oz/NZ. Also, I'm think I'm going to make a second post after this one. I may also make a special post or 2 on Sun.
I guess I'll do the food first, snacks second thing again, even though I tried to make a list this time.
So here we go!
Sat: I had 2 cans of Progresso soup. They were the Creamy Roasted Chicken with Herb Dumplings. It was ok. The soup seemed just a tad bit thin. I did add some water that I had used to rinse out the cans, but I wouldn't think it was enough to affect the consistency of the soup. Also, quite a bit of steam came off. Maybe I shou,d have added some cornstarch.
I also had a box of Keebler Toasteds crackers. They were the Buttercrisp flavor. They taste like a weak version of Club crackers(another Keebler product). I would recommend you get Club crackers instead since they have a stronger flavor, and are cheaper. They are actually on sale at one grocery chain for $1.69. I just want to finish this with a humorous review of the Toasteds: if you find the flavor of Club crackers too intense, get the Buttercrisp.
Sun: I had a box of Triscuit crackers. They were the Dill, Sea Salt & Olive Oil flavor. They were ok. There wasn't much flavor. I was able to taste just a little dill flavor. I don't know if this makes sense, but I think there are 2 kinds of dill flavor, one is the pickle type, and there is another one. I think these were the 2nd type.
Mon: I had a package of Bar-S hotdogs. They were the turkey ones. I cooked them in the microwave. I had 4 on buns and 4 naked. I used onions. I also used all 3 mustards. They were good. The habanero mustard didn't have that odd taste this time .
I also had a bag of Clancy's potato chips. They were the Cheesy Garlic Bread flavor. They had a flavor, but it didn't seem to be either garlic or cheese. They were ok I guess.
Tue: I had another package of Bar-S hotdogs. I think they were the regular flavor. This time I fried them. I had 4 on buns and 4 naked. After I took the hotdogs out of the pan and tunred the burner off, I put one of the buns in and rubbed it in the oil/hotdog juice, insides down. I also fried up some cabbage and the onions. I used all 3 mustards. They were good. Again, the habanero mustard didn't have an odd taste.
This time I had half a bag of store-brand crinkle-cut French fries. I cooked them in the oven. My mom said you don't have to turn them over, and to leave them in the oven longer so they get crispy. They didn't get crispy, just not soft. They were pretty good. If I have these baked again, I will use the instructions for cooking time, so they are a bit softer. The crinkle-cut, in my case, are better for baking since I can get half a bag on my not very big cookie sheet. I was able to estimate what half a bag is by putting fries in the empty straight-cut bag and doing the hold test to try to get bot bags to feel the same weight. The instructions say preheat the oven to 450F. Either the oven beep didn't go off, or I didn't hear it, so I waited quite a while before I put them in the oven. I'm assuming the oven was at 450. I think I left them in longer due to the oven issue also. I also forgot to take out the cast iron pan before tuning on the oven. I didn't know until I tried to put the cookie sheet in.
Wed: I had the last Red Baron frozen pizza. It was the Brick Oven Crust Sausage Supreme Pizza. Again, I turned the cookie sheet around halfway through baking. It was good. I did have 2 negatives. It didn't seem like it had a ton of sausage on it. Also, it seemed a bit small. I assume the other ones I had were the same size; I guess I just noticed it this time. Here is a review that I haven't watched, but the title suggests they had some problems with it: www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4K4O2lN6vM
Thu: This was a food experiment. First, I cooked a cup of rice. When it was done, I put in in my small casserole dish, and stored it in the microwave. Then I used the pot and cooked a 1lb bag of shrimp using a bag of McCormick Crab Boil. When the shrimp was done, I took out the bag(to reuse), and mixed in the rice. I let this mixture cool off for a while. While it was pretty good, I don't think I'll do this again.
Fri: Every so often, I have what I call a snack meal. It is comprised of 2 8oz "bricks" of cheese, 2 packages of Buddig Chicken, and a bunch of snacks. The chicken was good. I'll only review 2 of the 3 snacks I had. First was a bag of Clancy's Ranch chips. I didn't like them because there wasn't much ranch taste. I recall the store-brand ones I had a while back were much better. The other item was a big bag of TGI Friday's Onion Rings snack. They didn't taste as good to me this time. I think I may have started having that nose problem when I was eating them. I was tired. I was already starting to feel a bit full when I opened them up.
Now for the snacks.
I'm almost done with the Halloween candy; I just have like 4 pieces left.
I finished the jar of blue cheese stuffed olives. I don't think I'll buy a third jar even though they are good
I've been snacking on the summer sausage and shredded wheat.
Mon I made a package of Maruchan chicken ramen. It was good. I ate it with my chopsticks with no problem. I bought a 12 pack of these and the beef flavor when they were on sale a while back. I have some kind of weird thing where I might not open the box of beef ones up until I finish the chicken ones. I also had a can of Brookdale Vienna sausages. The liquid gooified(I think the more grammatically correct thing to say would be that the liquid solidified into goo). I also had a bag of a new snack. They are called Pasta Bow Ties. I think the company is Vintage Italia. They were Creamy Ranch flavor. They were good. The ranch flavor had a different taste than other ranch flavored snacks. I bought these at Menard's, which is a (national?) chain of hardware stores, like Home Depot and Lowe's. I don't know about you, but it seems a little odd buying food at a hardware store.
Wed I had a bag of cheese crackers that I got at ALDI. They were the Specially Selected brand. They were Emmentaler Cheese Bites. They were good, but only the first few tasted real cheesy. I don't know what emmentaler cheese tastes like, so I can't comment on that aspect. I also had a can of Lay's Stax. They were the XTRA Flamin' Hot flavor. They were good, but didn't really seem hot. It seemed that the heat accumulated on my tongue, or it had a majorly delayed action.
That's it for this week. I'm going to start typing my next post now. I'll be doing that at least while the TMZ weekend edition is on. My meal is going to take a lot of prep and cook time, but I'll probably work on the post while cooking. Since the review may be long, I may post it "tomorrow".

Merry Christmas to those in NZ/Oz and Asia, and Europe pretty soon!
On Fri, I did my end of the year north pawn shop trip.
The first stop was Alpha Pawn. The Ovation guitar was still there, as was the Line6 box. There was a wah there, but I don't know if it's from before. There was a Laguna guitar. I mentioned one in 2015, but I don't know if it's the same one. There were 2 BC Rich guitars. I think they were the Warlock beginner ones. There was an Epi LP Special. There were Squier and LTD hss strats. Thee was a Dean EVO. I think there was an acoustic guitar amp. There might also have been 1 or 2 tiny practice amps. There was an Eden bass amp. I'm thinking it had different colored knobs. There were 3 Casiahas and a Novation controller kb. For guns, there was 1 or 2 Hi-Point 9mm carbines. The wall behind the counter that had guitars was now full of guns. There were 2 AR-15s for $499. Either prices on these have really dropped, or these were pieces of shit. There was also a Ruger Mini-14 for $799.
Next was the $$$$ guitar shop that is a bit out of the way. I didn't really pay attention to the guitars, but I remember seeing some Fenders, and maybe a Gibson (semi)hollowbody. There was also one of those crappy 60's cheapo guitars that are now $$$$ thanks to people like Jack White. I went right to the effects case. I think there was a bunch of stuff I've seen before. There was a bunch of stuff I've never heard of. That, and being more interested in the amps means I didn't take any notes on the fx. For amps, there was a Fender silverface amp for over $1500. The website shows a 1968 Super Reverb, but I'm not 100% sure that's it. There was also a Fender Bassman Ten for maybe $695. There was also a Fender Stage 185. Next to, or between, the first 2 Fenders was a Gibson Classic Gold amp. There was a Muiscman 210 Seventyfive. There was a TC Electronic BH500 bass amp sitting on a TC Electronic cabinet. There was a large Crate amp that looked to have 2 12" speakers. The Peavey TKO was still there. There was a large newer Marshall amp. It may have been a MG100DFX. There was also a Marshall Master Lead Combo for I think $325. For rack stuff, there was a BOSS wireless receiver. I don't know what model, or if it had the transmitter that you plug into your guitar. There was also a Yamaha FX500 multieffects unit. The guy there told me they're moving soon to another building nearby.
Next I went to the pawn shop in Riverside. The first thing I noticed was that the one wall behind the counter where there were guitars, it was now guns. There was a .50 caliber rifle. That thing was huge. There were also 2 SKS rifles for $650. They must have been Russian and/or the price for an SKS in general has gone way up. For guitars, there were 2 that have been there before. First is the one with the psychedelic-ish headstock that I think is actually a Kramer(I'm not going to look. The other was the one with the ugly silver pickguard. There were some strat copies. There was a Yamaha hss superstrat with 24 frets. There were no effects boxes that I could see. There was 1 Casiaha. For amps, there was a GK Backline 250 bass head. There was also another head that was sitting on the floor that I couldn't see a company or model name on it. It was very short, but seemed to have some length and with on it. There was also a Peavey Classic Series amp that may have been there previously. I recall seeing an auto harp. There might also have been a saxophone or trumpet, but I can't recall which or if. Regarding the counter with the gun wall behind it, the counter used to not be there, and you could mess with the guitars by yourself.
The next stop was the tornado Cash America. There was so much stuff behind the counter, I was a bit overwhelmed trying to remember stuff. There were 2 Epiphone LPs. There was a Hagstrom LP for $360. I'm thinking there was another LP-sh guitar there, maybe an LTD. There was an hh hardtail strat shaped guitar by Schecter for $199. It had a nice top, which was either a thin veneer or a sticker, going by the price There was a Jackson hss for $499. There was a Dean Razorback and v. There was a G&L Rampage; I don't know if it was an import or USA model. There was an Ibanez that was either an Iceman, or a Paul Gilbert Fireman(that may have been there before). There were 1 or 2 jazz guitars. In the main area, I only noted a few guitars. There was a Squier strat and some other brand of strat copy. There was also a Washburn guitar that was ugly. It might be a Paul Stanlet model, but I can't seem to find a pic of one with what I thought the pickguard looked like. There were 2 controller kb, one was a Novation. There were 2 Alesis drumpad units; one had 6 pads, and the other had 8. For amps, there was a Fender Passport pa system for $299. There was a Peavey Vypr that was turned on. There was a Fender M-80 that I think was $99. There were a tone of various Line6 amps. There was a pair of Peavey pa cabinets. They each has a sticker that said $99, but I don't know if that price was for each or for the pair. The last amp I mention is a Behringer K1800FX keyboard/pa amp. What I liked is that it has 4 inputs, an effects loop, and an output so you can probably plug it into something for recording purposes. It would be a perfect amp for me featurewise, but they were asking $180 for it. I could talk them down a bit on the price, but probably not enough for me. Also, it was dirty, and looks like it would be hard to clean up.
I think I'll stop here for now since my meal is close to being cooled off enough to eat.

Merry Christmas to Europe , USA, and Canada. It is almost the 26th in NZ/Oz/Asia.
Like I said last time I was going to make a special food post because it would take a while.
For my meal, I made onion soup. First I cut up 2 big onions and threw them in the pot. I dumped in 4 cups of water. I forget how high I put the burner on. I put the cover on. I cooked these onions so they would soften and shrink some. As those were cooking, I cut up another onion and threw it in the pan with some canola oil. When the onions in the pot softened up enough, and a bunch of the water steamed off, I turned off the burner. When the onion in the pan got burned to a crisp, I put it in the pot. I cut up another onion and put it in the pan. I fried that until it browned, but didn't burn. I put that in the pot. I cut up a third onion and put it in the pan. I just fried it in the pan until it softened and started to turn yellow. Yes, I threw it into the pan. I then put in beef broth. There is a bit of a story with that, which I will now, of course, tell.
I bought 2 32oz(1qt) boxes of beef broth at Menard's. When I was bringing them into the house from the car, I dropped one. It didn't go splat and cover my garage floor with beef broth. I took it in and washed it off, being on the garage floor and all. One of the corners was dented in, but there did not seem to be any leaks. Later, I was examining it, and there was some wetness. I squeezed on the box and some broth came out. I poured the broth into 2 plastic containers, then put them in the freezer. Since I didn't have 100% of that broth, I decided to buy a third box at Dollar Tree(I'll further discuss that in my next post).
I cut up an onion and threw it in the pot. I then turned the stove back on. I set it between 7 and 8. While the soup was heating up, I cut 2 small onions and threw them in. I then put some canola oil in the pot. When it all came to a boil, I turned the stove down to simmer, and put the lid on the lid on the pot. After 20 min, I stirred the pot. I did it again after 20min. After another 20 min(1hr total), I took it off the burner. I then let it cool off to where I could eat it.
As for the taste, it was good. I also tried it with other things of course. I made a list with my impressions. I will put that up now:
parmesan cheese: Good. pepper: Good. red pepper: No real change. paprika: Good. garlic powder: No real change. cumin: Not that good. mustard: It wasn't that good. I just added a vinegary taste. soy: The taste kind of lurked in background. Sriracha: This didn't change the flavor of the soup. It just added heat. chili powder: Not that good. canola oil: No real change.
I also had 2 rolls that I intended to dip in the soup and/or put in the bowl. I also used pieces of them to wipe the soup out of the bowl each time so I wouldn't taste whatever I added to the soup again. They were good.
I also had a Simms summer sausage. It wasn't as good as previous ones. It tastes like it has black pepper in it.
I didn't finish the soup, bread, or sausage.
For a snack tonight, I put some of the leftover soup in my bowl and put it in the microwave for 30 sec twice. It was good. I used a piece of the leftover roll and parmesan cheese. I also had some of the leftover summer sausage. It was ok.
Onion soup is one of those things that tastes better as a leftover. It even tasted good right out of the fridge.
If I make it again, I will only use 2 boxes of beef broth, and use less onions.
I was surprised it didn't affect my digestive system. I thought I would be a fart king today at the least. I was thinking I would have to rush to the shitter and it be similar to the one scene in Dumber and Dumber, especially since I didn't take a dump Sat. I did take a big one at 11:45pm Sun night.
I guess I'll leave "tonight's" meal review for Sat.
I'll post the rest of my Fri trip below.

Now for the rest of my Fri trip.
Besides visiting these places, I also went to grocery stores picking up stuff.
After I visited the tornado Cash America, I went to 2 grocery stores. I then visited a Dollar Tree on my route. I was looking for a box of beef broth. They only had chicken broth.
I then went to the strip club pawn shop. That Marshall bluetooth speaker was there. I don't recall seeing that many amps this time. The acoustic cabinet was still there. Also, the Dr. Z amp was(at $1299, I'm not surprised). Two of the Peavey heads were still there; the monitor amp was gone. The Casio kb was on a different shelf. As for guitars, the Kramer was still there. There was a red sg(probably Epiphone) that was probably there before. This time, there was a Samick LP for $169. I didn't see the back of it, so I couldn't 100% tell if it was a set neck, but it kind of looked that way. The 3 effects pedals were still there. I took a closer look at the glass case. There was a Zoom multifx pedal in its box. I don't recall what model it was. There was also a tiny Peavey mixer for $69.99.
I wasn't 100% concentrating on the guitars and amps because I wanted to go home, and I had to try out another Dollar Tree.
I then went to a Dollar Tree close to my house, but out of the way of my route. The shelf had only chicken broth. I then looked to the left, and there were a bunch of boxes of broth boxes stacked on the floor. There were cutouts in the boxes so I could see what was inside. I looked, and they were chicken broth. I then looked at the (opened) top box again. It had boxes of beef broth, even though I could've sworn it had chicken broth boxes.
I then went to Claycomo to visit the last pawn shop. The lights were off. I was thinking they closed early or something. I looked inside, and it was pretty much empty. I don't know if they went out of business or they're going to get remodeled. I think I saw a light on in the back room area.
Next Fri, I'm planning on going to the out of the way places in KS and south of the river, and the other pawn shops I visit on my Fall trip. I don't know if I'll have enough time to get to all the Fall places. Maybe we'll get to leave work early TWT, and I'll visit the Fall places then.
See you next Sat.

It's that time again. I have some interesting stuff due to the XMAS and NYE holidays. I also might have another post after this one.
Before I proceed, I have to mention something I've been omitting. Like I mentioned way back when, I usually have sardines with my x and veggies meals; and I would only mention them if I have a reason. Well, I do. I've been eating the sardines with my chopsticks too. I haven't had much problem using them for this purpose. I can even break them into chunks, but that does take a tad bit of work.
Now back to the main feature. I'll just do the snacks afterward.
Sun: I had plain bagels. I had store-brand cream cheese on half of them. They were good. I had some kind of store-brand cheese on the others. It was Garlic & Herb flavor. I thought it would be a (cheaper) alternative to Boursin cheese. The employees who I asked for the location of it told me it was more like Laughing Cow. It was ok. The flavor was not very strong. The supposedly neutral cream cheese had a stronger flavor.
I also had a meat item. It was a canned ham from Brookdale. This was my fist time having one. It was pretty decent. It was like a coarser version of Spam. You can cook it(reheat it actually, since it's precooked), but I just ate it out of the can. If you like Spam, you will like canned ham.
I also finished the stuff from the night before. It was all good. The summer sausage tasted better this time for some reason.
Since I had bagels and cream cheese last year also, I think I will make that a XMAS/NYE tradition. I will probably have a different meat item.
Before I proceed with the next 4 says, I have to mention. Besides having my 3 items with my meal, I also used parmesan cheese. I guess it was good. I cant remember if I used for all 4 meals.
Mon: I had fried potatoes and veggies. It was good.
Tue: I had fried potatoes and veggies. It was good.
Wed: See Tue.
Thu: See Wed.
Fri: This was a food experiment night. I tried liver for the first time. It was the Skylark brand. They come as 4 slices shingled on each other. Since I didn't want to touch raw meat, I just opened the package and slid them out on the cutting board. I then cut them into 4 pieces; or so I thought. Liver doesn't cut easily since it is so floppy. I ended up having to cut the pieces again, and also ripping many into smaller pieces. What I should have done was take each slice and cut it individually. I would have probably done that if I had more empty counter space(due to my hoarding). I took each piece and covered it in a mixture of flour and cornstarch. I had cut up an onion and fried it a bit in canola oil. When that was done, I dumped it into my small casserole dish. I then started frying the liver. I got each piece brown on both sides. The powder didn't really add any crust. When the liver was done, I put in the tiny chunks and the remaining powder, which I had mixed with the blood/juice. When that was all done, I made my other item which I'll discuss in its own paragraph.
The texture was like cubed steak. As for the taste, liver is known for having a distinctive flavor, which many don't like. It is served with onions to mask the flavor. I am among the group that didn't like it. It wasn't horrible, but I wouldn't prefer to have it again. I'm kind of guessing the flavor is like that of raw meat even though it was fully cooked. I recall that the taste is delayed in that you don't taster it right away. I did try it with all my spices and condiments, both with and without onions. Since I did that, I made a list:
just onion: Not much difference. pepper: Not much difference. red pepper: Not much difference. garlic: Not much difference. cumin: Covers the liver flavor. paprika: Not much difference. chili powder: Good with onion. mustard: A bit of the liver flavor comes through Sriracha: Covers the liver flavor. soy sauce: Not much difference, but better with onions. canola oil: Covers liver flavor a bit. parmesan cheeses: Good with onion.
The other item I had was4 potatoes shredded in the cheese grater. I didn't put them in the pan all at one time. I did them one at a time, except the first one, since it was big. I cooked each potato(or half) as a single mass, or attempted to. When it was cooked on one side, I would flip the mass over. I used the canola oil that was in the pan from the onions and liver, and the fat/juice from the liver. I also used some of the canola oil from my deep frying pot. I don't recall if I added any fresh canola oil. The potatoes were good.
I got a late start, and cooking all this stuff took a long time. If not for that, I would have made more potatoes. I think I actually got done eating after 11am Sat.
Now for the snacks.
I've been snacking on the shredded wheat and summer sausage.
On Wed I had a package of Buddig Honey Roasted Turkey. It was good. There was a 2 for $1 sale on Buddig meat 2 weeks ago. I forgot to check this thread to see what I liked. I came back later, and saw that I didn't like the HRT. I don't know what to say about that.
I also had a bag of Funyuns substitute from Gourmet Select. They call them Onion Rings. They weren't bad, but not good. This category of food is very hit or miss.
On Thur I got some stuff at a grocery store. First was ceviche. It had shrimp, and what looked like tomato and cucumber. I just mostly tasted whatever citrus juice they used. I guess you are supposed to eat it with chips or crackers, but I just had it alone. I also had some seafood salad. Most of the time it is just made with (fake)crab. This salad was also made with shrimp. It was good. I also had some boneless wings. I heated them up in the microwave a bit. They were good. They were some kind of spicy variety. They weren't very spicy except for some lip heat.
On Fri I finished a jar of store-brand chunky peanut butter. It was good. I also finished the Halloween candy.
Later I had a bag of Late July multigrain tortilla chips. They were the Mild Green Mojo flavor. They were good. They tasted a bit like guacamole.
When I was cooking the liver, I put a bunch of crumbs from the last box of shredded wheat I finished in my mouth with some canola oil. It was good.
That's all for the food. "Tonight", I'm going to have a meal that will probably be a XMAS/NYE tradition. There will be some variations though.
Stay tuned for another post about something else.

On Fri I did my out of they way pawn shop trip. I also did my mini pawn shop only south of the river trip. I think in other years, I did these on separate days or I visited less places. I left work at 1:15pm, and didn't get over to my parents house, to feed the cat, after 6:30pm.
First, I have to mention a few things. I was tired, suffering anxiety, and wanting to get home, so I certainly left stuff out. This includes the numerous strat copies I saw, including quite a few Squiers.
It seemed like all the Cash America pawn shops had WAAAAY less guitars than usual. I wouldn't think they sold that many for XMAS.
I didn't go to Guitar Center since that was out of the way and they don't have too much used stuff.
I don't know how much I will get through tonight. I may have to make another(and a third etc) post some time later.
First I went to the music store near my job. Right inside the door was a glass counter with used effects inside. There was a TC Electronic pedal that I think was part of the Voicetone series. I'm pretty sure it was blue. There was a large Mesa Boogie pedal that I think was the Throttlebox. There was an EH Big Muff Pi. There was a Barber Electronics pedal that I think had Drive in the name. There was a BOSS RC-50 Loop Station, PH-3 Phase Shifter, and PS-2 Power Stack. I then went over to the guitar wall. I don't think I saw any used guitars. It seemed to be almost all Fenders with a few Ibanez. I then went over to the $$$$ room. For guitars, it was mostly Fenders with a few PRS. For amps, There were a bunch of Mesa Boogies. There were some Fenders, and a few Blackstars. There was also a Marshall JCM900.
Finally I went to the keyboard room. I didn't really pay attention to what was in there except for 2 synths. The first was a Behringer DeepMind 12. It has 2 oscillators. Osc2 has only a square wave. Osc1 has a sawtooth, square, or both at the same time. I didn't know how to set the Osc1 wave, but I think there were buttons on the panel that I thought were for something else. It sounded fine, but I could get a better assessment of the sound if I could check out the different wave settings. Right next to it was a Korg Minilolgue. I played with one of these during my last visit to Guitar Center. I couldn't get a Lucky Man(ELP) sound, but I was able to get something that sounded like those "boings" at the beginning of Beat It by Michael Jackson.
My next stop was the place in Olathe that is primarily a gun shop. There might have been something interesting gunwise, but I'm not 100% sure. As for the pawn stuff, there was an Epiphone SG. There was a BC Rich Bronze Series Warlock. There was also an Ibanez GiO 24 fret hh guitar. There was also a Crate amp that looked to have similar specs to my Peavey.
Next was the pawn shop that I had problems finding last time. This time I missed it, but knew to make a U-turn right away to get to it. There were only 2 keyboards. First was a Yamaha SY85 for $249. Above it was a Yamaha YPR-9. The wall that had a bunch of amps was now full of car stereo crap. There were some amps though. There were 3 Crate heads. There was a Marshall head that may have been a MG100HDFX. There was a Laney combo. There was also a GK bass cab. For guitars, there is a wall behind the counter and some kind of overhead shelf thing. On the shelf was 2 Epi LPs. There was a Fender Strat, but I don't know the country of manufacture. Next to it was a Hamer sss with 24 frets. On the wall was a 22f Jackson. There was also an Epi superstat with 22f. There was an LTD wit a LP shape with 3 knobs. There was a BC Rich Bich. There was also A Gibson LP for around $750. I think it was one of those with a wood stain finish.
Then was the Alpha Pawn. This one is configured like the one closest to me. And like that one, the wall behind the counter that used to have guitars now has guns. There was a Norinco SKS for $379. There was an M1 for $579. The pricetag said it was a paratrooper model, but I don't think it had a folding stock. There was one Casiaha. As for guitars, there were 3 Mexican Fenders; 2 Strats and a Tele Thinline. There was an LTD ss that maybe had a slanted neck pickup. There was a G&L Legacy. There was an Epi LP baritone like this: media.musiciansfriend.com/is/image/MMGS7/Les-Paul-Standard-Baritone-Guitar-Iron-Cross/518705000644000-00-500x500.jpg
There was a Gibson Les Paul Special with hh and 4 knobs.
I then went to the big pawn shop in Olathe. I pulled into the street before, so I had to drive all the way around the strip mall. There was nothing interesting in the gun section except for 1 or 2 WWII style Luger pistols. Behind the counter was a Gibson LP, 1 or more Fender Strats, and what I think was a Fender Duo-Sonic. I then looked at the kb shelves. There was a Korg A3 and an Ensoniq TS-12. I then went back to the counter where the $$$$ guitars were to look at the effects. There was a Korg Kaoss Pad with the box. There was an Akai pedal with a foot contoller, so it was either a Shred-O-Matic distortion or a VariWah. There was a Danelctro Black Coffee distortion with the knobs broken off and a Pastrami overdrive. There was a DOD overdrive that had a gold color. It may have been the bass version. There was an MXR Distortion+ for $209, which meant it was probably an original. I then went to the shelves where there were amp heads and rack units. There was a Radio Shack pa head for $99. There were a few Crate heads. There was a Peavey bass head that I think was part of the Mark series. There was also a Kustom Deep End bass head. There was also a Korg A1 effects rack unit. I then looked at the guitar wall. There were Squires, LTDs, Ibanezes, Jacksons, and some Epi LPs. There are combo amps under the guitars. The Randall was there. There was a Peavey Stereo Chorus 212, and a Lab Series L5 for $329. Those 2 amps might have been there last year.
I guess I'll stop for now. I have to write some checks, then eat a while after that. I'll probably be back soon.
Happy New Year to Oz and NZ!

Happy New Year to everybody else!
Before I resume my trip, I have to mention something about the previous post. When mentioning the Akai pedal, I used the phrase "foot controller". That should have been "expression pedal". Now that that's out of the way, lets get back into things.
The next stop was the one in Grandview. They changed the configuration of the store, and there were a lot less amps and guitars. I think there was one Casiaha. There was a BC Rich Bronze Series Warlock, Harmony strat, and an LP copy that said "brit" on the headstock. When I try to Google it, I just get results for British guitars. For effects, there was a blue TC Helicon pedal. This means I am now not 100% if the one I saw at the music store was blue, and/or if there was actually 2 there. There was a Vox unit with an expression pedal; I think it was a Stomplab IIG. There was a Fulltone Fulldrive 3. There was a Joyo tremolo. There was a Rowin flanger and overdrive pedals.
Then I went to a nearby Cash America that I've never been in. It is actually in Kansas City, in the area known as Hickman Mills. I first looked at the guitars behind the counter. There was a Mexican Fender Tele. There was an Eastwood Kingston Flying Wedge. There was a lefty Ibanez that I could read on the headstock what the model was, but I forgot. There was also an Epiphone Nuclear Extreme. I then went over to the shelves where the amps and kb were. There was a combo or head from Randall. There was also a Marshall acoustic amp. For kb, there was some model of Yamaha where the clear plastic covering the lcd display was cracked. They wanted $100 for it. My brain, not my notes, is telling me there maybe was a Yamaha YPR-9. My notes say there were 2 Novation kb controllers; if so, hey were different models. There also might have been an Alesis SR-16, but I don't know if I notated it correctly. It might have been something like an Akai MPD18, or it could be there were both. There was also a Baldwin organ for $149. For guitars, there was an Epi Lp Special II. There were some Squires. There were also strat copies by Silvertone and Austin. There was also a Peavey Falcon for $199. I would call it a strat copy except that it only has 2 knobs instead of 3(the Preadator has 3 knobs).
The next stop was the pawn shop in the hood. I first went over to the gun area. There looked to be a shotgun with a banana clip. I was going to ask if it was a shotgun , but there were a bunch of people there. There might have been some squarish gun, but I can't remember. For keyboards, there was a Yamaha YPR-9. There might have been something else also. For amps, there were combos by Crate and Raven, and heads by Randall, Line6(2x), and Acoustic. There was one of those Yamaha drumset boxes. For guitars, there was a BC Rich Masterpiece Mockingbird. There were 3 Squires. One of them was $50. It was grubby in a way that made it look old. I was hoping it was one of those "sleeper" models from Japan. I looked at the back of the headstock, and it said it was from China.
Next up was the nearby Cash America. There was a Chinese Squire and an Epiphone SG. For kb, there was an M-Audio Axiom 61 kb controller. There were also a portable kb and digital piano from Yamaha. For amps, there was a Peavey Rage. I only notated it because it was old. There was also an Ampeg BA-108 for $79. On a shelf behind the counter, there was a Roland U-110 that had a rackmount party dj cd player on top of it. I asked a worker how much it was. He first thought it was $39, since there was a pricetag saying that taped to the shelf. He then thought the $39 was for the Roland and cd player as a set. He then took them off the shelf, and saw the Roland was $100.
That was the "out of the way" portion of my trip. I then started the south pawn shops part.
The next stop was the Raytown Cash America. I first looked in the glass case. I looked closer at the Ampeg from last time, and the model is B2. There was a Tech 21 Sansamp for $110. My notes also imply there was something from Digitech, probably a multifx pedal. For kb, there was one by Williams, and a Casiaha. For amps, I only notated a Fender head that had built-in digital fx. For guitars, there was one of those LTDs with a slkanted neck pickup. There was a Charvel with an LP shaped body. There was also a Samick Greg Bennett series sg. I didn't play on it because it was all scuffed up. I then went to look at the guitars behind the counter. There was a Fender Strat. I didn't ask the price or country of manufacture. Same thing with a Squier. There was an Epi LP Special II with (ugly prob) grapics on it. There was an LTD. There was a Washburn N series Nuno Bettencourt signature. I would have asked which model it was. There was also a BC Rich Mockingbird. I would have asked to see the back to see if it was neck-through, set-neck, or bolt-on.
I then went to the "easy to miss" pawn shop. They pretty much had the same stuff as last time. There was an Epi Goth sg. There was a Radio Shack pa amp. There was also a Bogen mic preamp. I forget what it looked like, so I can't find out how old it was.
The next stop was the "hole in the wall" pawn shop. There was a Casiaha and 2 kb controllers. The EVH amp was still there. For guitars, a lot of them were still there from last time. There was a BC Rich(probably a Warlock). There were 2 of those Ibanez gutars with a double cutaway body like the old Musicians. I could see one of them had 4 knobs. There was also an Epi Lp that had some kind of graphic with "Musicians ??" on it. For fx, there was a foot swtch box for an EH 2880 Stereo Multi-Track Looper. There was an EH Deluxe Bass Muff. There was a BOSS PH-3 Phaser. There was a Behringer Vintage Delay. There was a Nux delay pedal, which I assume was the Time Core.
I then went to the Alpha Pawn. There weren't many guitars before, but there were even less now. The Casio synth was gone, as was the gear in the glass counter. There was a speaker cabinet from a company called Panama. Last time I told you there was a Fender Bassman 300 Pro. The front panel doesn't say Pro. Online, it looks like the amp is referred to as either 300 or 300 Pro. I think it was $599.
Next was a Cash America. Behind the counter was a Gibson LP with the matte wine finish. There was a Dean Markley amp that looked a bit dirty that I think they wanted $139 for. There was a Fender Rumble 200 bass amp. There was a Peavey MegaBass head in a fuzzy road case. In a glass case, there was a Digitech RP360 XP.
At the next pawn shop, there was an 88 key Yamaha digital piano. There was a Casio CT-310, and I think some other Casiahas. The only guitar I noted was a Dean Dave Mustaine V. For amps, there was a Laney and a Park. There didn't seem to be any effect units, but then again, I might not have looked carefully, being in a hurry and all.
Next was the crazy pawn shop. The only guitar I notated was a Silvertone Paul Stanley Apocalypse Pro. There were only a few amps; I only noted an Acoustic AG15, which is for acoustic guitars. I then went to the gun area. There was a TEC-9 copy. Then there was what I thought was a MP5 copy. I asked a worker, and he said something about an AR-15. Doing some research shows that it was some version of an AR-15 converted to 9mm. I also asked him about a futuristic looking gun. He said it is a 12ga shotgun that holds 14 rounds, and was $799. It might be a UTAS UTS-15.
The final stop was the Cash America on the same road as the "edge of the hood" one I visited on 12/8. Most of the guitars behind the counter were still there. There were also 2 LTD LP style guitars. For amps, the Peavey like mine was still there. There was a Bugera for $349. The lap steel was a Rogue. In the glass case, there was a tiny kb controller. There was a Line 6 xt Live. There was a BOSS ME-70. There was a Yamaha Magicstomp. I don't know if it was a MKI or MKII edition, just that it was purple. There was a Ampeg SCR-DI for $140.
Well that's it. I should be doing my food post on Sat. It will take a while to type up due to yesterday's and today's meals. See you then!

This is my first post of the new year. I'm starting a bit earlier this time, but still later than I wanted. I got some things that will take a while.
Since I only had a few snacks this week, I'll list them along with the actual meals.
Thunderbirds are go!
Sat: This was my "ALDI" meal. I got all the stuff there, except for the meat item. I have to do this in list form.
I had 2 bags of pita bread that I put stuff on. I ate all but 1.6 of them. It was good in that it does its job of getting stuff put on it.
I had a small wheel of Happy Farms Preferred brie. It was really good this time. It almost had a buttery taste. As for the rind, it wasn't that bad. I think I did get a hint of the chemical taste that I noted some time ago. I left it out on the counter for quite a while, so maybe that's why it tasted so good this time.
I had 2 containers of Little Salad Bar hummus.
The first was the Significantly Spicy flavor. It was good even though it didn't live up to its name. There was a bit of background heat though.
The other flavor was Olive Tapenade. It was good. I didn't finish all of it.
I had a container of parmesan and romano cheese from Regano. You are prob thinking: "WTF is up with that". This is one of those things that pops into you head and you decide to do because you live alone. It wasn't that good. I think I got the idea when using some with my onion soup. That container tasted a lot better, even though it is the same brand. I guess there can be differences between batches. I even tried to recreate conditions of the previous one. This means I opened the safety seal and put it in the fridge a day or more beforehand. I think I did take it out of the fridge and leave it on the counter for a while. That's the only real difference between this and the previous one. Just thinking now that containers don't taste that good right off the shelf. I didn't finish it.
For my meat item, I had a container of pickled herring from Olsen Fish Co. They actually call it Herring Cutlets In Wine Sauce. It was decent. I might have liked it better if there was a different pickling liquid.
I had this meal last Xmas/NE, so I think I'll make it a tradition.
Sun: This was my Asian meal where I bought stuff in the Asian store. I'll put this tuff in list form. As for previous times, I'll notate company, distributor, and country, whatever was available. I'm not getting of my ass to look at packaging.
The first item did not have a product name on the package in English. The manufacturer is S&A Trading Ltd from Hong Kong. The distributor is Domega NY International Co Ltd. The bag also said "Thailand Flavour", which I'll attempt to explain in a bit. It was a big bag filled with small packages of the snack; a similar setup to that of a bag of "fun-size" M&Ms. The snack itself was some kind of crunchy things that were curvy, and knobby on 1 side. They tasted ok. When I was at UMR, a Thai student told me Thai cooking is a combination of spicy and sweet. I did detect a hint of sweetness. I wouldn't buy these again. When I bought them, there were bags of another flavor, which might have been shrimp.
The next item was Little Prince Brand Snack Noodles. The manufacturer or distributor is Ve Wong Corp of Taiwan. They were kimchi flavor. These were also little bags in a big bag. These kind of reminded me of crunchy chow mein noodles. They looked a bit like ramen noodles, and the individual packages made me wonder if they were some kind of instant soup deal. The big bag just mentioned using them in a manner like the chow mein noodles. If they were an instant soup item, the bag would have had cooking instructions. They were good, though maybe a bit salty. I had kimchi a few years ago, and I don't think the noodles tasted like it. They weren't spicy. I think there was another flavor there that I might try in the future.
Next is Seasoned Shredded Squid, Spicy Flavor, from GoMuc By Ichiro of Thailand. And yes, it was actual squid. I've had calamari before, and it was a bit rubbery. This was even more rubbery. It was ok. It had a fish flavor. The bag said "Hot Level 3/5" but it wasn't very spicy.
The next item's brand name was beagoe, and the manufacturer is Taiwan TechPRO, which is assumed to be from Taiwan. The distributor is Midwest International Corp. The product was called Crispy Okra, and that is what it was, dehydrated okra. They were whole pods, not sliced up. These were good. The bag also said "salt". I don't know if that means they were salt flavor or they just had salt on them, but they were not salty. If I had a food dehydrator, I would buy some okra pods and make my own.
Also distributed by Midwest International Corp was Shrimp Crackers. There was no brand or manufacturer name in English. These were ok but a bit bland.
Next is hai di yi hao Croaker Stew by Wenchang Haidyihao Food Co Ltd. The distributor is Domega NY International Co Ltd. Apparently there is a fish called croaker. This was fish with spices and some kind of beans. I don't know if you are supposed to mix it in with something, but I just ate it right out of the package. It was good.
The next item is Fried Dace With Salted Black Beans. The can said Yu Ha Xiang, and Victex Worldwide Enterpises Ltd. I don't know if that's the brand and company or company and distributor. It was made in China, but VWEL is from Hong Kong. Dace is another fish I haven't heard of. It was good. The one thing I didn't like was there was empty space in the can.
The last item to list is the Old Fisherman brand Roast Eel. It was Black Pepper flavor. The manufacturer is Tong Yeng Industrial Co Ltd from Taiwan. It was good. It almost had an Italian flavor.
Mon: I changed things up. I had my fried veggies and rice. I used all my spices and condiments and Sriracha water. I had it alone and with my 3 items. It was good.
Tue: For a snack, I finished up the stuff(pita, hummus, parmesan) from Sun. It was good. I don't recall if the parmesan tasted better.
I did the ramen noodles with fried veggies thing. I used 3 packages of Maruchan Chicken flavor ramen. I didn't add anything to the pan besides canola oil. It was good. I had it with my 3 items. I think the pepper was the best of the 3. I can't recall if I tried parmesan.
I do have something else. I had the ramen meal on this day because I wanted to try to take a nap soon after I got home from work. I usually cook the rice when I get home from work. When I was online, I was having problems opening some sites. I ran my antivirus programs to see if my computer had one. That was taking way too long. Then all of a sudden the power went out. It was out for about 80min. I was going to cook my ramen during that timespan so it would be ready when I made my meal later. To wrap it up, all that stuffed got me stressed, so I just said fuck it and called in sick the next day.
Wed: For a snack, I had a bag of popchips potato snack. They were bbq flavor. They were ok. I think they had the generic bbq snack flavor. I also finished the last of the summer sausage which was good.
For my meal, I'll copy most of this from 3 weeks ago. I first warmed up 5 flour tortillas in the pan. Afterward, I put in cabbage. Then onion. Then half a bag of (cooked) frozen broccoli. I then added spices and condiments(and Sriracha water) except for mustard and soy sauce. Finally, I added half a can of store-brand chili beans, after turning the heat down. I forgot to try to mash the beans up. I added pepper to 1 tortilla, Sriracha to another, and parmesan to a third. They were all good, but the parmesan one wasn't as much as the others.
I almost forgot the meat item. It was half a package of Bar-S bologna. I had it both plain and with mustard. It tasted good. There was one criticism. It was the Thick variety. I don't recall if I saw that when I got it. The thing I didn't like is that it fells like there is less there, even though it's the same weight as the regular gut
Thu: I went to Arby's and got 4 French Dip & Swiss sandwiches because they are doing the 2 for $6 promo. They were good. I also got 2 orders of onion rings which were good.
Fri: For a snack, I took the crumbs from 3 boxes of shredded wheat and mixed them with canola oil. It was good, but could've used a bit more oil. Also, I think I'll put the crumbs in a bowl next time, which will make mixing with the oil easier.
The meal was a repeat of Wed, except I mashed the beans this time, and I didn't use parmesan. It was good. The one with the pepper seemed to taste really good. Also, I had the other half of the bologna.
Except for Sat/Sun, I also did the thing with putting shredded wheat in my mouth and squirting in canola oil(including earlier tonight). That, and adding a lot to the pan when cooking, means I am going through it quickly.
I will be having something new in a bit, which I'll review next week.
I also got 2 summer sausages of different flavors at Menard's on Fri. I will probably open 1 up on Mon. And for the meal, I will be trying something new.
I started typing this at a bit before 11:03 pm. It is now 5:25am. I did take a break for a nap for about 30 min.
I'll see you in a week.
