869: Neraware ta Megashinka! Gaburiasu no Kizuna!!
863: Garchomp's Mega Bond!
Before the twerps can leave Lumiose City, why they have to visit their very sexy friend Professor Sycamore.
Sycamore in the mean time is having Meyer fix his... um... thing? And he totally loves the smell of motor oil for some reason, I assume it has to do with the weird and gross sex parties he has with his sexy assistants. The twerps show up because he has something very important to show them, I'm guessing it might be...
He shows them his "one of each", and it's a Keystone and Mega Stone, the two stones required to Mega Evolve Pokémon. But, what Pokémon are they for? Well, from the title, I'm guessing Garchomp.
And hey, guess what? I'm right, I'm a genius!
It is a genuine Garchompite. But before we can see Garchomp Mega Evolve, well someone breaks through the wall with their giant Meowth robot and snatches the device. Ash wants to know "what's going on", because that's totally not obvious.
"We're taller than you, so show some respect!"
"Though manners are things that twerps always neglect!"
"To show the secrets of Mega Evolution!"
"Stealing your work seems the perfect solution!"
"The art of cunning is our labor of love!"
"Your findings send us to the stars above!"
"Jesse!"
"And James!"
"Team Rocket makes Mega Evolution a breeze!"
"A mega mega heist that is destined to please!"
"MEOWTH sure agrees!"
Apparently Team Rocket heard everything about Sycamore having a Key stone and Mega Stone and decided to steal it, AND Garchomp.
They have their giant robot lightly steal the Keystone from the Professor's device, and then with the other hand snatch the entire apparatus with the Garchompite anyway.
They then grab Garchomp in a net, and just miss nabbing Pikachu before blasting off. Before they can get too far, Clemont has Ash throw something onto their device as they escape and are never seen again.
Ash then realizes that he has no clue what he threw, and Clemont informs him, it's the newest piece of Clemontic gear, the "Search in a Second" because Clemont figured they'd encounter this exact situation.
So, Clemont just happened to figure they'd be somewhere and Team Rocket would steal from them and... wait... hang on, that actually makes sense. Go Clemont!
They ride-out with the Professor in search of Team Rocket, who have trapped Garchomp in some kind of hard-light cage.
Meowth in the giant robot is having a hard time however opening the device, so James does the logical thing and has Inkay blast it with Psybeam inadvertenly destroying the tracking device in the process causing it to explode in Clemont's face.
Clemont decides that before anyone can call out another of his inventions he'll blame Team Rocket for sabotaging it. Yeah, that's right, it's all Team Rocket's fault. That's the reason all your inventions explode isn't it?
Anyway, James sets the Garchompite onto a bracelet and prepares to Mega Evolve it. Jesse astutely points out that having a Mega Evolved Pokémon around who hates their guts could be hazardous to their health, and James insists that they'll just use the mind control ray, they just happen to have on them.
You know, with all the crazy-ass working technology that Team Rocket has at their disposal, they could totally go legit, or at least be better thieves or something. I don't know.
Anyway, Meowth activates the Mind Control ray, and it seems to work without flaw, and as such, James let's it out of the hard-light cage, and sets it's Mega Evolution into gear.
In the other part of our story, Sycamore and the twerps for no reason decide to continue walking on foot, as Sycamore reminisces over when it met Garchomp.
He met it when it was a poor injured Gible that some trainer brought in after finding it in town, later on it completely fucks up his recovery room and bites Sycamore on the hand, as he tries to calm the scared bastard down. It bites his hand with the non-toothed part of it's mouth, and realizes that Sycamore might not be a bad guy after all.
Later on, Gible evolves into Gabite, and then into Garchomp, as evolution is won't to do.
Well, Team Rocket are still trying to Mega Evolve Garchomp, but it's memories of Professor Sycamore allows it to gain some form of control over it's actions.
James doesn't get it though, they already have both stones, so why isn't it Mega Evolving? Well, before they worry too long, Team Rocket's Mind Control ray continues and begins overpowering Garchomp to scream real loud, and for some reason only Sycamore hears it. According to Clemont this is because trainers and Pokmon hae "mysterious connections", and I call shenanigans, because Ash has never used this mysterious "mysterious connection" the many times he's been separated from Pikachu.
Anyway, Garchomp is still refusing Team Rocket's control, so Jesse angrily has Meowth turn up the juice even more, leading the twerps and Sycamore right to them. Sycamore tries to recover Garchomp and Meowth against the robots programming attempts to turn it up a little bit higher at James' request.
Ash tries to help, but before he can, who should show up by Blaziken Mask. They kick the shit out of the charm on the Meowth bot buying them a little time, until they get it back on.
Sycamore proclaims that if Garchomp Mega Evolves then Team Rocket wins, so he comes up with a brilliant idea to ega Evolve Garchomp.
You heard me.
He borrows Blaziken Mask's Keystone to make Garchomp Mega Evolve before he can, and Blaziken Mask is totally down with it.
James and Sycamore then both attempt to Mega Evolve Garchomp, and hopefully this doesn't somehow fuck up Garchomp or whatever.
Garchomp has now Mega Evolved... but who's side is he on?
Sycamore yells at it from like 6 feet away asking if it hears him, and Team Rocket, confident that Garchomp is still under their control simply walk up to it, and commands it to basically fuck the twerps' shit up.
It slowly walks towards Sycamore and before it can murder the shit out of him... it lightly nuzzles his hand, letting him know that he's totally not under their control, but I wouldn't doubt he might have messed his pants in the dramatic lead-up. It's a good thing his sexy assistant wasn't here to see this.
He then has Garchomp destroy the cockpit of the robot, and I wouldn't doubt that Meowth messed his pants in the dramatic lead-up.
well, Team Rocket for once know when the getting's good, and try to get while that thing I said, and Ash is appalled that Team Rocket are getting way, and Blaziken, Mega Garchomp and Pikachu all attack, blowing up what remains of the robot, and... allow Team Rocket to get away via Blast off.
Well, I mean, they were already leaving, so you didn't really accomplish anything guys.
Well, Sycamore returns the Keystone he got from Blaziken Mask and again remembers his horrid motor oil covered sex romps, as Officer Jenny pulls up in a horrifically CGI'd car just in time since everyone else already did all the work anyway.
The twerps do their customary good-byes and head off to Laverre City.
Meanwhile, the professor pops into Meyer's shop and continues to get his rocks off to the smell of Motor Oil, and then cuts the shit and asks if he'll help with his research with Mega Blaziken, because he totally knows.
He totally knows that Meyer also loves depraved Motor Oil sex parties, and has an endless supply of the stuff.
Yep, that's all he knows.
Also, that Meyer may be Blaziken Mask, but who don't know that?
