Sorry for taking a bit too long to make a response, haha. Though Don, again it's totally up to you, but I think Yeah, I might in the future once I figure out how to go about writing something up - the Alola League and the battle with Kukui was very, very inspiring.
Speaking of which...I loved that battle and how it ended. Though anyone else noticed how Ash put his hands in a Kamehameha posture before seemingly "firing" the way Goku does? Either way, I think this has been the longest battle in the anime's history, having taking four episodes in whole and beating out Ash vs Paul in run-time, and the focus being on each of Ash's Pokemon during their fights rather than running the mill until it's Ash's Pikachu and regional ace Pokemon. I liked that.
Overall, the league and the battle with Kukui throws in many past references in blink and miss it moments that it's fun trying to spot them all. Nothing very blatant, but those watching the series from start to finish just might notice 'hmmm! I've seen that somewhere!' Like for example, the massive tornado of energy swirling out of the stadium with the camera switching to outside the stadium was something done in the Sinnoh league with the Ash vs Paul battle on its final stretches.
Anyway, considering the massive amount of character development and interaction, I'm sure the characters involved will get their individual focus prior to it ending. I know that Sword and Shield are around the corner and the Pokemon Company likely wants to move from generation 7 and onto generation 8 material to keep up to date. Still, Sun and Moon has been terrifically fun and I'm glad that they went the direction that they did for Alola. I think it's worth sticking around for more in the anime, with this season having made up for the dork ages of the last two.

Just like back in Ash vs Paul having the final leg of the fight play Type: Wild, this True Final Boss fight against Tapu Koko does the same. Once again, truly spectacular!

I think it's worth sticking around for more in the anime, with this season having made up for the dork ages of the last two. I don't know if you mean like the last two seasons of SM or if you meant BW and XY/XYZ? If you were talking SM then that's to be expected when it comes to the second year of a three year series, that's the 'slump' year when not very much happen. If BW and XY/XYZ then well not going to argue with you on BW, though I have to respectfully disagree with the XY/XYZ series though. For the record I'm not trying to start a 'This series is better than that series' argument you are entitled to your opinion and I respect that.
As for the battle, the last time they did a DBZ shout out was when Ash was battling Olympia for this seventh badge and it had the same pose and everything, man I guess they really loved the Father-Son Kamehameha wave from the Cell Games, which by the way is my all time favorite saga in DBZ. Best of all Ash did everything he sought out to do in Alola and I couldn't be happier for him.
You know what else? I agree with Hau this was more of a final exam for Ash and he passed with flying colors so in a way I guess he doesn't need school anymore.
All in all a great battle and it's earned a spot in best league battles.

First trailer and a preview of the intro for the new Pocket Monsters anime has been revealed:
The title of the song, which will have various singers, the first being After the Rain, is "1, 2, 3". I'm not going to be posting here anymore once Sun & Moon ends, but I'll leave you with the first two titles of the new series and summaries-
PM2019 episode 1: Pikachu is Born!
PM2019 episode 2: On Lugia They Go, Satoshi and Go!

And that concludes...Alola. When it first came out and after the controversy of the Kalos League and it tearing the fanbase apart...I admit I was skeptical at first, but I was glad to of been proven wrong and then some.
I'm honestly touched by it all. From Lillie's goodbye, to the others attempting to accomplish their hopes and dreams, Team Rocket leaving Alola as well with Mimikyu finally opening up to Meowth over its extreme Pikachu loathing, Nebby paying his "dad" a visit... It was quiet when it needed to be and the whole episode was full of emotion.
But during that credits scene which was already touching... That's the first time in the anime's history they ever did something like that! Oh my goodness I know it's a fictional series and all but I am happy for her!
It's all honestly a nice place to tip our Lillie hats and close a nice chapter of our lives and start a whole new one!

So the Sun & Moon anime comes to an end and as does my time here. This has been a fun series, which I quickly fell in love with the lively, fluid, animaiton, all the characters have been fun, as has the comedy. But this series was also the most surprising, it is the first series having episodes that dealt with death, the first series were Satoshi won a Pokémon League and let's not forget in the end of the very last Sun & Moon episode, the first series to show a pregnancy. I won't be here anymore and I look forward to this new series, which will be changing up the formula even more: If more details of the new Pocket Monsters anime appear before the series starts I will post them here, to prepare you all, but after that I'm done.

Sun and Moon, what can I say it sure was something else; when it first started so many people did not like it at all but over time the hate for it started to die down a little bit. The series had both good ideas and some pretty bad ones as well, like the lack of battles for one thing and staying in one place for most of the series.
Sorry it's just so hard to put how I fell about this series into words right now, don't get me wrong I truly did enjoy it and all plus I so damn happy that Ash won the league which has caused me to forgive everything the anime has done up to that point. Though to be honest it kind felt like this was made more for the slice of life otaku fanbase, and it threw me off a few episodes.
Anyway it was alright and I look forward to the upcoming series which will once again put back on the road and hopefully tone down the comedy a bit and funny faces, along with more battles.

This new anime is going to take some getting used to. I was able to nosedive into the SM series, but this is quite the shift.

Ash's first capture in this New Series and it's a Dragonite. I don't think anyone was expecting that. It's such a affectionate Pokémon as well. How sweet.

Anyone else here thinks that Ash might catch Gengar? Same here. He caught Dragonite, so catching Gengar is now on the table. And if it has the Gigantimax factor, then that would make two pokemon that Ash can Gigantimax. Also, if they do decide to bring back Z moves and Mega Evolution, then Ash may have a chance at his first mega evolution.
