It's off to Poni Island with everyone! However, unfortunately Satoshi isn't able to attempt his final Grand Trial. Just then, a girl named Hapu'u appears. She appears really angry, having mistaken Satoshi for a thief, but...

Summary:
Satoshi has gone to Poni Island along with everyone else at the Pokémon School to work on a research project, and attempts his final Grand Trial! ...or at least he thought he would, but it turns out there isn't an island King on Poni Island at the moment. Now what?! In addition, an islander girl named Hapu'u appears before Satoshi and the others. She attacks them with her partner Goloog, mistakenly thinking Satoshi has stolen daikon from her field?! Things are looking really dark for him?! And we get a battle against the Skull Gang too!
Also, a new ending theme will start this week!

While working on her research project, Lilie travels around Poni Island observing the various Pokémon living there. Suddenly, her older brother Gladio appears before her. Lilie is happy to be reunited with her brother, whom she hasn't seen in a while, but then Satoshi and Gladio end up having a battle between their Lugarugan.

Māmane wants to evolve the "Battery Pokémon" Dendimushi into a Kuwagannon. After discovering that there's a mysterious power present in the Vast Poni Canyon, he heads to the valleys with Dendimushi in tow. Meanwhile, Suiren and the "Sea Lion Pokémon" Ashimari are unusually enthusiastic about learning all of their master I'a and the "Soloist Pokémon" Ashirene's moves.

It's said that the guardian deity of Poni Island, Kapu-Rehire, shows itself at the Ruins of Hope, a sacred area on the island. As one would expect, Satoshi attracts Kapu-Rehire's anger when he battles his classmate Kaki on this holy ground. Satoshi ends up captured, and in order to have him released, Kaki has to run off and bring back scales from Akala's guardian deity Kapu-Tetefu within a strict time limit.

Lilie reunites with her older brother Gladio. Gladio tells her his thoughts regarding their father... and Satoshi and Gladio also have a battle between their Lugarugan! It's a clash of their Z-Moves!!

Summary:
Satoshi asks Hapu'u for a battle, but for some reason she suddenly gets angry and refuses. Meanwhile, Lilie reunites with her older brother Gladio while observing the Pokmon on Poni Island. He tells her he's come to the island to meet Kapu-Rehire for a specific reason. As the two of them talk, Gladio brings up their father. What is Gladio's reason for wanting the meet the guardian deity? And what does he actually think of their father? Satoshi and Gladio also have a battle between their Lugarugan! It's Dusk VS Midnight! Who will win?!

Summary:
Māmane wants to evolve Dendimushi, and Hapu'u tells him that if he goes to the Vast Poni Canyon, he can use the mysterious power present there to do so. He, Satoshi and Kaki immediately set off for the vast canyon. But when they arrive... Meanwhile, Suiren decides to train Ashimari together with her master, I'a of the Seafolk. Ashimari sings and plays on the beach with I'a's partner Ashirene... but does this really count as training? And how does everyone's research projects turn out?!

The full version of Notebook of the Heart, the third ending of Sun & Moon is out, can't post it here for obvious reasons, but here are the lyrics.

I am moved and feel very emotional from listening to this song, imagine if they played this during a sad moment in an episode, I would cry a lot.

The lyrics to the song tell you it's a farewell message to the series as well as reflecting when Satoshi eventually has to say goodbye to his friends.

Summary:
In order to battle the guardian deity of Poni Island, Kapu-Rehire, Satoshi and Kaki head to the Ruins of Nirvana. However, Kapu-Rehire won't show itself, so the two start battling each other in order to summon it. Kapu-Rehire got angered by this, and ended up capturing Satoshi. In order to save him, "scales" from Kapu-Tetefu on Akala Island have to be brought over before a certain time limit is up! Kaki runs for the sake of his friend. But will he make it in time?!

So the voice Suiren's Osyamari has makes me love and appreciate the voice it had as an Ashimari even more, along with loving the former.

It goes from having this goofy, ar-wooing, voice, to a beautiful and operatic one, reflecting the funny clown turning into an elegant ballerina.

Apparently the guardian deity of Poni Island, Kapu-Rehire, has a mysterious power that lets you meet people that are no longer with us. When Mao hears this, she gets really sad for some reason. What suddenly came to her mind...? And when the group went to stay at Hapu'u's house for the night, they got enshrouded in Kapu-Rehire's mysterious mist. As they make their way forward, lost in the mist, they all encounter someone important to them. Meanwhile, Hapu'u heads to Kapu-Rehire's in order to save them from the mist.
