LT, perhaps you shouldn't keep current episodes as higher priority when writing guides for a while. It's been five months since XY20 aired and that's ridiculous. You can always write guides for current episodes a little later. Swampert said he'd start posting regularly again in December, so he can help you out with those then. I doubt it would take you two long to catch up, but right now I'd rather see those older episode guides finished before commenting on any new ones.
Also, we're still missing guides for those five Korrina episodes too. How are those doing, Lobsterguy?

Since I had finished this week's guide early on Saturday, I had planned on doing another one Tuesday, but ran into internet problems.

They removed the kanji... TPCI, what the hell is going on with them? This, replacing most of the movie 17 music. Yeah, I-I just give up on the dub of the anime. They have never done either of those before (Japanese characters rarely appear by the way, but when they did they were kept). So why this sudden change? There's no point defending, no point trying to pick out good points, the TPCI dub has that same feel of going downhill as the 4kids dub did in the Hoenn saga.

I feel the same way, but not only because they replace most of the music and Japanese letters. The dub's voice acting is also pretty terrible with squeaky female voices and dull male voices, and don't get me started on Team Rocket's dialogue. It seems I should have started watching the Japanese episodes long before I did. I mean, I loved Sinnoh, but now I think I would have loved it even more in Japanese. Still, I guess I'll have to keep watching the dubbed episodes, so I can properly comment on the episode guides, which are based on the dub. I doubt I'll ever rewatch the dubbed episodes, though. If I want to see some XY episodes more than once, I'll just watch them in Japanese.

Yeah, Team Rocket's dub dialogue is mostly annoying in the TPCI dub. 4Kids also changed it, but it was at least bearable.
And there's the fact they replace most of the original background music in the TV series when they used to keep a lot of it.
There are people say "none of that matters" but it does. Music, voice acting, the script, all of these greatly impact the quality of a series. Bad voice acting? People complain. Great voice acting? People praise it. And music adds to the emotion of scene whether exciting or sad.
For example: people who didn't cry at an upsetting moment in a manga have cried when it appeared in the anime due to the voice acting and the sad music.
And there is how the script is written: A wooden and bland one will bore people, while one that tries too hard to be entertaining will get on people's nerves.

Ha. They're like 4Kids.
You know I actually like both of those guys and 4kids the most for dubbing Yu-Gi-Oh, the start of Pokémon, and One Piece. But really, what can we do to stop anyone from actually editing anime like this? (Saying that in a metaphorical and literal way.)
P.S.
(I just clicked on the 'insert quote' button at the top while editing.)
I agree with Don, also, I think 4kids tried waaaayyyy to hard on the One Piece script (on purpose), explaining why they at first had an almost-exact theme of the opening, followed by a 'Crappy 4kids-Fun-Time Crap Rap.'

Apologies for the lateness of a guide this week.
If it's any consolation, I got Omega Ruby and named my Treecko "Clint E."
Because "Eastwood" wouldn't fit.

I completely understand. If I had my Omega Ruby already, I wouldn't do anything else than play it 24/7 either. *grumble grumble why does Nintendo hate Europe grumble grumble*

Why does Nintendo hate Europe? Are you serious, when we're getting all those gifts and all America got was a poster?
I know you don't care about them, but there are people out there who do. Those Americans never or hardly get extras.
America is the one who gets screwed over by Nintendo, waiting 7 days after them for a game is nothing compared to it.

I disagree, but let's just leave it at that.

The reason why Europe is getting ORAS later is because Nintendo needs to make it suitable for Europe.
I know you said "leave it", but I had to point out why this has nothing to with Nintendo 'hating' Europe.

Suitable? What do they have to do to make it different?
Anyway, this weeks is a Holiday weekend on America, which means I'll either A.) Have time to do an extra guide, or B.) Won't.
I never really plan for holidays.

I don't know, but there has to be a reason why Europe is getting the games seven days after every other country.
By the way, there's something I want to point out on the latest dub episode, but I'll wait for when the guide is up.

I think I should let you know that I'm having major Internet problems at home at the moment, so it's possible that I won't be online for a few days. It's actually kind of funny, I was going to avoid Internet this week anyway because of the ORAS spoilers, and now I don't have a choice but to do so. I'm writing this from a school computer.

Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction will be airing in the UK on CITV at 16th December. And it will obviously be the full version so a guide can be made from it. However people outside UK can't watch ITV Player, you have to hope someone uploads it. Unless nobody bothers with the cut-up one being uploaded a lot.
