Oh my goodness that was so beautiful I'm at a near loss for words. I may not understand actual japanese that much, but it completely hits in the feels of growing up with Pokemon when it first started and to being where it is now. Thank you Don!

As you can see, the music video shows Shoko Nakagawa's childhood experience with Pokémon.
Also the old lady at the store is Sachiko Kobayashi, one the singers for Together With the Wind.
I'm assuming the children who appear are the Pokémon Kids, the other performers of the song.

I think it's safe to say that Lana will be the only one of the girls to make it to the next round, because I doubt that Lilie will be able to beat her brother. She might put up a good fight but she won't win.

Okay so we already know that Ash beats Hau, now the real question here is will he lose to either Guzma or Gladion? I think at this point it can go either way.

People are getting real salty regarding Ash's battle with Hau. Specifically the results. I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say this. No matter how you spin it, Sleeping and Fainting are not the same thing.

You know, I honestly think that sleeping gag by Rowlet was actually a jab at what happened in the Original Series' League battle against Ritiche where Squirtle being put to sleep caused him to be ruled out by the Judge. Of course, Rowlet facing the ground wasn't helping any matters.
Still, seems like Ash's Meltan is going to evolve in the not too distant future, as given the way Meltan evolve in Let's Go is through a massive cluster of their own grouping up. (Or rather, an extreme amount of candies.) Now then, I'm sure Ash's defeat is likely at Gladion's hands. It's a bitter pill to swallow, but at least the advertising this time around isn't trying to bait the notion that Ash is going to actually win a League tournament.

The expectations for this league has been pretty low, plus people will be upset if by some small chance he does win it because it's not a "real" league, so either way you see Ash is screwed in the eyes of some of the fanbase.
As for me well, if Gladion does beat him then maybe Ash can beat him in a post league arch battle, not much but it's something.
