HERE'S HUGE AND EXCITING NEWS EVERYONE! Satoshi will be paying a visit to his hometown of Kanto and will temporarily reunite with Takeshi and Kasumi!  Nobody ever expected this, also we're seeing Mega Evolution in these episodes, Takeshi with a Mega Haganeil and Kasumi with a Mega Gyarados. But when you think about it, these episodes make a lot of sense, it's the anime's 20th anniversary after all, they're going all out with the nostalgia. I want to see every previous series character drawn and animated in the Sun & Moon anime style now (of course I am not gonna get my hopes up).

I have to say though, given the recent developments I just caught myself up with, I'm quite insanely shocked and surprised that the Pokemon directors actually went through with this! Sure, 20th university and all, but really, and I'm no nostalgia genwunner whiner, but I'm honestly quite happy and excited to see how they revisit the past for a 2-parter!
With his old friends gaining Mega Evolution to boot and pitting them against Z-Moves.
One major weakness that the XY Series had was little to no continuity of things that happened in the past; flashbacks to Ash's youth in Kanto do not count. But here? Ha, mix in the old with the new for a delicious combo!
Either way, I bet the shippers are gonna have a field day. Grab a bag of popcorn everyone!

Mezase Pokémon Master ~20th Anniversary~ was updated to include Kasumi, Takeshi and Dr. Okido having ad-lib lines during certain parts of the song. Kasumi is the one who does the scream ("Eek!") after the lyric; "in that girl's skirt" Takeshi says "We're waiting!" after "Making friends, and then off to the next city" And of course, Okido's "That's true" after "Though there's no guarantee of that..." Let's all appreciate how amazing the animation in the next episode looks. I mean Sun & Moon already has great animation, but they step it up big time here. |

SM043 screenshots: filb.de/anime/sm/043 Just a brilliant episode with great battles and amazing animation. Here is a new title, summary and voice cast- SM44: Satoshi and Hoshigumo! A Mysterious Encounter!!HOLY FUCK, WE ARE HERE ALREADY! Okay something strange happened, something that's never happened with the Pokémon anime before and that is, before today, we did not get a title or summary for episodes beyond episode 43, which lead to a lot of people to believe they were hiding something big from us and, as you can see, THEY WERE! Just so you know, there's no episode next week (ah damn, I could have had this airing on my birthday.... oh well, at least I won't be distracted on my birthday and can do something) however this isn't the reason why we didn't get a title until now, because we've had titles and summaries of episodes that air in two weeks after the previous be revealed long before that. The Sun & Moon anime is on a roll with these.  New poster, I expect there will be a new opening and ending announced soon too. Also Satoshi has the Black Z-Ring from Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.Just so you know, I will continue to use Hoshigumo when referring to Cosmog's Japanese nickname and not be using Dephender's English translation of it. This being the same case with Shiron (which Dephender translated into Snowball) simply because I am more used to referring to their names in that way. |

Holy moly! They were hiding this from us and in a good way too! I mean, they gave away Dusk Lycanroc a day before he evolved but for this? This was a total but welcomed surprise.
And now the evil Jellyfish mother makes an appearance in all of her... compulsive hidden villainous! Though that's pretty spoilerific, but doesn't everyone know this as much as everyone knows Darth Vader is Luke's father? Hehe, taking that non-canon fun animation made a while back, I'm pretty sure they're just aware of this turnabout in the games as we are. But I can't help but suspect they just might do things a bit differently and it's harder than heck to get a perfect bead on how exactly thing will transpire. Nothing more we can do than sit back, relax, and see how things turn out! Probably not as much as the game's plotline and retooled to fit in Necromza like in the Ultra Sun & Moon games.
I see a notable lack of a wedding ring on the fingers of Kukui and Burnet, and given that description of just being an acquiantance, I'm not even sure they're married in this version. Food for thought I suppose.
But now the question remains; will Lillie succeed in stuffing Nebby in the bag? How many people will Jigglypuff put to sleep and marker their faces?

I was right, "Mesaze Pokémon Master -20th Anniversary-" was just a temporary opening to promote the anime's 20th Anniversary as well as the 20th Pokémon movie, because "Alola!!" is returning in the next episode. Evidence were 1. It was too early to change the first intro and 2. The second used episode clips for the most of it. But, while we're back to the first song, expect brand new clips in order to promote these upcoming events (I hope...).
Oh and it seems the ending is still "Pose", so just ignore what I said about a new intro and ending. Actually I was just partly right about the opening.

So it looks like Ash is going to take care of Nebby then? Oh man I have to be honest that things are really starting to heat up here and man I can't wait to see Lillie's mommy issues pop up here. By the way Don since your birthday is next week I want to wish you a early happy birthday  For the record my birthday is next week as well on the 26th, funny the final episode of BW aired in Japan on my birthday which is pretty funny. |
