852: Thawing an Icy Panic!
In a forest a dark silhouette of a Vanillish and Vanilluxe wander through calling out their own names as they look desperately for something, what, who knows.
But never mind that shit because the Twerps have made it to Coumarine City, the future site of Ash's next Gym Battle, and Serena's Showcase. They rush and head to the Pokémon Center, until Bonnie's little girl brain spots the one thing that can break a young child's concentration.
ICE CREAM.
They get her some, and gets a Vanillite shaped cone, which she finds so cute. Apparently there's a reason for this, you see a single lost Vanillite was found in town and is being taken care of at the Pokémon Center, and the town has so little going on that it's a big fucking deal for people. Judging from the reactions of those Vanillish and Vanilluxe, looks like the Twerps will be...
While on their new mission to look at ONE Pokémon at the Pokémon Center, they of course get distracted from their distraction by looking at OTHER Pokémon. Everyone seems to be carrying around a Grass-type, from Vileplume to Jumpluff to Exeggutor.
Just then a trainer and her Bellossom walk up to the Twerps, and Chespin's "Fuckin' senses" are tingling, as he hops out of his Pokéball and tries to put the moves on Bellossom. It doesn't go for it, and our boy Chespin's balls will be blue another day.
This soul-crushing display however sets off Bonnie's "Fuckin' senses" as she asks the woman to take care of her Brother, before being hauled off and our boy Clemont's balls will match Chespin's another day.
At this point, I'm super confused at the lay-out of this city as they were heading to the Pokémon Center, but are now going up a grassy hill? Whatever, anyway as they go they're passed up by the genuine, bonafied, electrified, six car Monorail, and Clemont is PISSED.
Suddenly Clemont gets that "Professor Souichi Tomoe" look in his eyes and remembers that new piece of Clemontic Gear he invented, because the future is now thanks to science, his "Easy Peezy Mountain Climber", it's a pair of boots with tread on the bottom for riding, especially up hills. Serena's all "Come on, Clemont, that's not fair" even though she knows he's shit at walking in straight lines, and would just be dragging his ass up the rear.
Well, the Clemontic Gear glitches as they're won't to do and Clemont crashes into a farm and begins getting prison raped by a group of Victrebell. Bonnie - still too young to understand what the Victrebell are sticking where - gets jealous and thinks he's being tickled, before Serena tells her that that is totally not what is happening here.
Ash tries to save Clemont but instead ends up shocking him with Pikachu.
Clemont's not having a very good day.
The sexually repressed shrieking Pokémon haven't quite satiated their sexual lust and prepare for another round before the Warden on a Gogoat shows up and immediately demands to know what the twerps are doing breaking into his prison ranch.
Clemont explains that his invention went wrong, and then he crashed the fence, and then he got attacked by sex crazed Pokémon, then he asked them what happened, then he doesn't know what happened.
The old man assumes that the Victrebell must have been spooked, and Ash apologizes as they scatter, but tonight... oh tonight, Clemont will be theirs.
He tells them the place is off limit because it's a "pasture" for Grass-types, right next to a forest... sure old man, whatever you say, and the Ranch belongs to him, and in essence the Pokémon in the Ranch. He then points out his Sunflora for some reason, possibly because their faces being frozen in faux-happiness keeps them from indicating that they're being held against their will? Oh, well I'm sure the Sunflora won't come up again later.
The Twerps mention they're on their way to the Pokémon Center, and he lets them cut through, because it's a shortcut to the other side of this town which is apparently divided by a long stretch of grassland for some reason.
At - or across the street in this case - from the Center, Team Rocket discuss stealing the Vanillite and using it to make Ice Cream for them, because.... yeah, that'll work.
Before they can move the Twerps come through to see the thing themselves. Once inside Nurse Joy, with the incompetence usually reserved for an Officer Jenny has absolutely no qualms at all showing these random strangers this wild Pokémon that they have absolutely no connection to, because surely they're not here with ill intentions.
Fortunately they of course have no ill intentions, so they mostly let Bonnie and Pikachu and Dedenne hug and coo at the thing. Nurse Joy tells them once the little sentient Ice Cream cone has restored it's strength they'll release it back into the wild where it can, uh... I don't know, melt?
The twerps and the nurse leave to fetch Vanillite some lunch, and... a most horrifying site comes back to greet it.
In a freaky scene, two Nurse Joy (one sporting an Adam's Apple, and the other a great set of legs) show up in the room with "lunch" for the ice cream, as Vanillite floats closer to lunch... a small hairy Nurse Joy pops out and traps it in the cooler, and they cheese it past the Twerps and the other Nurse Joy.
The twerps come to find Vanillite is missing, and suspect the three Nurse Joys without Due Process and chase them out of the building telling their Nurse Joy to call Officer Jenny, as they are breaking the law, and need someone who's good at cover-ups to get them out of having to spend time in the whoscow.
The three Nurse Joys run down that weird stretch of forest between the city, as Vanllite let's off a loud, piercing scream getting the attention of it's two friends.
They then summon snow clouds and unleash a severe snow storm.
The twerps continuing to follow the Nurse Joy are just as confused as everyone else (well, they're always confused) because according to Serena - who is as always, wearing a skirt, and nothing but Thigh High Stockings to protect her poor legs - it was "so warm" a minute ago.
The twerps manage to catch up to the Nurse Joys, who choose this time to strip... in this weather?
Oh, turns out it's Team Rocket, and not freaky nudist Nurse Joys

At this point Team Rocket loses a bit of their usual piss and vinegar when doing the motto.

Suddenly Vanillish and Vanilluxe show up and continue to turn up the cold, Ash tells Team Rocket to return Vanillite, and Team Rocket tells Ash to fuck off as they attempt to run off, but get frozen in a block of solid ice, asphyxiating them, and Vanillite
The Vanillish and Vanilluxe continue because now they're mad, and dumb and just murdered the Pokémon they were trying to save in their dumb, mad confusion.
Speaking of dumb and confused, Ash attempts to quell the Vanillish and Vanilluxe by... running straight at them?
When this fails he's saved by Ramos (the Warden from earlier) and Gogoat. Ash is thankful and prepares to do the exact same thing that didn't work for him last time again expecting a different result.
Ramos stops him and gives him a speech about taking the side roads, assuredly an allegory for earlier when he let them take the shortcut through his ranch.
He then sends out a Jumpluff to use Sunny Day breaking up the Ice Cream Pokémon's Snow Storm, which serves to confuse the wayward Pokémon even further. Then he forces the gang of Sunflora, who's faces are permanently fixed in mock smiles to hide the crippling depression of their detainment to gather together and use Solar Beam (woah, that totally did become important later in the episode, whodathunkit?)
The Sunflora use Solar Beam to thaw the entirety of the town, because sure, of course it did.
The Vanilluxe and Vanillish are still confused, but seemingly less angry, and also Team Rocket are now thawed out, as well.
Team Rocket shoots for Plan B, which is...

Activate a giant robot apparently hidden under the ground outside the ranch?
The Robot uses the frigid air of Vanillish, and Vanilluxe and Vanillite to blast colder air at the twerps, which is SUPER convenient since they had no idea they'd even see a Vanillish or Vanilluxe today. This is apparently a plan that's AS GOOD as Plan A, which was to use Vanillite to make Ice Cream for them.

Clemont is impressed with Team Rocket's science, and poor no pants wearing Serena is on the verge of freezing those thighs of hers again, Ash screams at Serena and Clemont to work together, which is weird, since I was sure they already were, and they send out Luxio and Fennekin.
Meowth pours on the ham as he poses in the cockpit of the robot, and turns up the juice. The Twerps' Pokémon all attack at once, but it falls short of beating the robot.
Ramos joins in and holds them in place with Gogoat's Grass Knot and stops the fan on the robot's front with Leech seed, as Frogadier destroys the air vents on the robot with Cut and the Ice Creams freeze the bot from the inside, breaking out with the help of Pikachu's Iron Tail.
Once they're out they team up on Team Rocket and send them blasting off, as the Twerps all have a laugh.
Later at night the Ice Cream Pokémon say their good-byes insisting they'll see them again some day, as the head off to Vanillite's next Gym Battle.

Meanwhile the Twerps thank Ramos, as he gives them another moral about taking the sideroads as Nurse Joy lets slip his name, and Clemont has heard the name before.
Well, the Twerps say their good-byes to Ramos insisting they'll see him again some day, as they head off to Ash's next Gym battle.
Ash tells Ramos for no apparent reason that he came to challenge the Gym, and Ramos is sure the Gym Leader will be happy to accept his challenge, which is kind of the Gym Leader's job.
Ramos gets like almost a block away before Clemont realizes... RAMOS IS THE GYM LEADER!
Which means, next week... ASH'S FOURTH GYM BATTLE!
