856: Saijaku no Doragon!? Numera Tōjō!!
850: A Slippery Encounter!
The twerps are still trekking to Coumarine City, and Serena can hardly wait to get their, she's SOOOOOO EXCITED... until they walk a bit more up the hill, then she's dragging ass with Clemont. Bonnie who's made it ahead informs them that it's all downhill from where she stands, and as they stand at the top of the hill a flock of Swanna fly by... and it looks like one drops a huge gross looking shit on Ash's face.
Gross, this is certainly...
Ash removes the pile of shit and discovers that a bird didn't drop a giant turd on his face, but the pile of shit is actually a Pokémon, according to the Pokédex it's the weakest of all Dragon-type Pokémon.
Despite this it doesn't much look like a Dragon, and it's just kind of laying on the ground in a gross heap.
Clemont wonders if it got dried out, and Serena responds by pouring her water on it's head. It feebly reacts, but still looks out of sorts. Ash spots a river down at the base of the mountain, and decides to run down and get it wet that way.
The other twerps tell ash that it's too dangerous to climb down, but Danger is of course Ash's middle name... his Maiden name would also be Stupid in this instance, so he runs on down, with no regard for health or safety and almost crashes into a giant rock. After Pikachu Iron Tails it, he then trips on a little pebble, and throws the gross slime monster in the air, and all three of them crash into the river.
The other Twerps manage to get to the bottom without the worry Ash had, so I assume they had a better plan that Ash refuse to listen to.
Anyway, Goomy still looks weak, so they pour more water onto it's head, until it makes a full recovery.
the Twerps celebrate, until Goomy meets the most fearsome creature it's ever seen in it's life... Dedenne!
I'd be scared to.
Goomy hide's its gross mucilaginous body on Ash's head from the ferocious Dedenne, as Clemont helpfully reminds everyone that Dedenne is a Fairy-Type (a fact I myself forgot) and Fairy-types kick the shit out of Dragon-types in the Rock-Paper-Scissors that is Pokémon Type Matchups.
Bonnie calls Goomy weird for being scared of "cute little Dedenne", and it immediately disembarks from Ash's head and sissy slaps (Double Slap?) Bonnie's knees, and is apparently tickles the hell out of her.
This makes it feel worse about itself, also apparently it's antennae are it's weak point, which makes it the worst thing to attack an enemy with.
Serena implies that Bonnie hurt it's feelings and it jumps it's gelatinous body onto her shoulder and nibbles her ear, like she wishes Ash would do to her.
Then she calls it slimy, and gross sending it right back into it's depression.
Suddenly it starts raining... but only over Serena, it's using Rain Dance, which is an excellent way to put a girl in an impromptu Wet T-Shirt Contest.
she promises to never call it gross again, and it stops the rain, and... slumps back down again. Bonnie insists that Goomy may be hungry as it looks like Ash when he gets hungry, a gross pile of viscous flesh.
It then leads them off to somewhere as Team Rocket watches from afar, as they're won't to do, however they don't give a shit about it, and decide to just catch Pikachu.
Goomy leads them to some bushes and eats the leaves off of it, this somehow summons Chespin to Pin Missile some... I forget what we're calling them now Apples? Berries? Whatever.
This disturbs a Super PISSED off Ariados, who tries to attack, but is attack blocked by Pikachu as Clemont rushes to apologize to the non-radioactive Spider Pokémon.
Goomy's not holding up too well from this meeting as it appears to piss itself in fear.
Ash tries to figure out what's up, and that's Clemont's queue. This time he reveals his "Pokémon Translator Mark II". You may remember the first version he used when he needed to translate some wild Pancham's babbling.
Or you may not remember that.
This version shows a visual image of what's happening inside a Pokémon's brain.
First we see some Gulpin and some other Pokémon, then the screen goes red, like a horror movie as a swarm of Yanmega fly by... aerial bombing the area with Ariados(?) Eventually this leads to a scene in a body of water populated with Pinsir(
) and then finally Goomy somehow ended up on Swanna's back.
The device clocks out and as expected explodes.
Clemont surmises that Goomy got caught up in a Pokémon gang war and ran away, and Serena again guesses this is why it pissed itself when it saw the "Area-dos".
Goomy babbles at Pikachu, and before they can decode this they get caught in a weird electronic wrap tie... thing? Ash wants to know what's going on, because he's never encountered a situation like this before.
"Prepare for trouble, we're going strong!"
"And make it double, as the day is long!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of veering off course!"
"To catch Pikachu we must come to the source!"
"Jesse!"
"And James!"
"Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!"
"Surrender Pikachu now or prepare for a fight!"
"Meowth, that's right!"
"WOOOOBBBBBUUUUUFFFFEEEETTTT!"
Meowth activates a net from the bottom of the balloon that Ash tries to have Pikachu hit with Thunderbolt, but it's to no avail, as Team Rocket captures Pikachu and throws the twerps a Smoke bomb and escapes.
Oh, It appears Team Rocket also accidentally snatched Goomy, too. Oh well.
Anyway Ash manages to get Frogadier's Pokéball out to have him help them with Cut, and then sends Fletchinder to find Team Rocket's balloon, without at least pointing him in the general direction of where they last saw Team Rocket.
Speaking of who, Pikachu is desperately trying to shock Team Rocket's net, but it ain't working, they gloat until Jesse gets scared of Goomy's gloomy disposition.
Team Rocket then PAAAAARRR-TAAAAAY... Meowth taps into his Deadpool powers and mentions that the writers have left him high and dry, even though he has eyes painted onto his eyelids?
And James pretends to be a Lotad.
Jesse and Meowth seem shocked at James racist portrayal of the Spanish
Then Jesse does... something?
Also, Meowth does an impression of Giovanni, and mentions his desire to go into voice over. This happens in the background as Pikachu continues to try to break the cage with it's head, and possibly concussing itself.
It finally makes a hole big enough to get through, as Goomy slides on through. Pikachu however is too fat, so Goomy decides to slide back through and rub it's slimy body all over Pikachu.
Team rocket heard this, and go check back, but see everything's all fine. Pikachu looks a little weird, I mean, he's all shiny. Pikachu's not usually shiny, but meh, it's probably nothing, and they leave again.
Once Team Rocket are gone, the Pokémon slide out, and Team Rocket have a giggle about Pikachu's unusually shiny fur, and eventually realize that it could probably slip through cage doors like that...
Suddenly Team Rocket cop up to what's happening and head after the Pokémon, James on foot and Jesse and Meowth take the balloon and glide pretty low to the ground.
James gets rained on, which causes him to lose his balance, but get picked up by the rest of Team Rocket in their low flying balloon, as Pikachu and Goomy make there escape and get attacked by a Shadow ball from Pumpkaboo, that Ash takes full force on his back.
Jesse sends another wrap thing, and Ash dodges, but the rest of the twerps get caught.
Suckers.
Meowth sends the net back down, but Pikachu destroys it with it's Iron Tail.
Team Rocket then engage Ash in battle, and actually manage to score a great hit of Psybeam, that confuses both of Ash's Pokémon, he jumps on them trying to keep them from attacking each other and calm them down, as Team Rocket goes in or the kill... but Goomy blocks with it's slimy body.
they attack again, and it takes another hit straight ti the face... before unleashing a beam of apparently Bide on the two enemy Pokémon as they disappear in a flash of DragonBall Z-esque light.
Pikachu then snaps out of it's confusion and sends Team Rocket blasting off again.
Well, the twerps look like they're ready to bid goodbye to Goomy, as Ash akes the thing blush telling it how awesome it found it's power, but then it cowers again from Dedenne like a pussy punk bitch.
Ash talks it up again, and apparently Goomy decides it wants to become strong like Pikachu and come with Ash. He touches the ball to Goomy's head and...
Ash caught the Dragon-type Goomy, as somewhere Iris is throwing her TV out of Claire's apartment window.
