I think this is the first time Ken Sugimori has drawn a female Pikachu and he's drawn several. Seeing two of those female Pikachu in masculine clothing, I'm guessing this would mean you can dress them up in any sex clothing no matter what their gender. But then again it's not like girls can't wear those outfits.

Here's the contest category that each Pikachu represents:

Idol Pikachu - Cuteness
Madam Pikachu - Beauty
Doctor Pikachu - Smartness
Masked Pikachu - Toughness
Hard Rock Pikachu - Coolness

I've never wanted a Pikachu on my team so badly, Madam Pikachu is my favourite; she looks so cute, fancy and lovely. I wonder if other Pokémon will get this.

The Pokémon Company International has sent out a release detailing more about the news that has come this past week. In this release, it shows footage of Mega Metagross confirmed to have Tough Claws, as well as the reveal of the Pikachu appearences: Pikachu Belle, Pikachu Rock Star, Pikachu Pop Star, Pikachu Ph. D, Pikachu Libre.

Pictures are gradually being added

More details on Mega Evolutions. Mega Diancie receives a big boost to its Speed, as well as boosts to its Attack and Sp. Atk, while experiencing a reduction in its Defense and Sp. Def. Mega Metagross also has a greatly increased Speed stat, with additional increases in its Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, and Sp. Def, making Mega Metagross primed for both offense and defense.

I remember people saying Metagross was downgraded when Steel-types lost their resistance to Ghost and Dark. So does its Mega Evolution make up for that?

It still makes no sense to me that they would remove two resistances from the typing that is generally defensive.

That's crazy good.

So Mega Metagross has Tough Claws after all and it gets a boost to ALL of its Stats (except HP, of course). Yep, that will definitely more than make up for the Steel-type's loss of two resistances if you ask me. Steven will be even more of a nightmare to beat now...

I'd never visited the official ORAS site until now, so thanks for the link, Don. I never realized that Roxanne was apparently still a student at the Rustboro Trainers' School, especially since she appeared as a teacher there in the anime. I guess she's younger than she looks, which would at least explain Brock's lack of interest. Oh, and Flannery's bio was amazing. It seems her speech to the player before the start of the battle is even more awkward now. Bless her.

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. This reveals Mega Altaria, who is Dragon/Fairy with Pixilate and Mega Lopunny who is Normal/Fighting with Scrappy. It now knows the move High Jump Kick.

It also confirms that when you change your Pikachu's clothes for contests, it gets special moves. Pikachu Rock Star gets the move Meteor Mash, Pikachu Ph. D. knows Electric Terrain, Pikachu Pop Star knows Draining Kiss, Pikachu Belle knows Icicle Crash and Pikachu Libre knows Flying Press

Mega Salamence is also confirmed and has the ability Aerilate

Contests are detailed. With you meeting a Contest Idol called Lucia, who will give you special clothes for participating in Pokémon Contests. You also receive a shiny Beldum through an event, where it holds its Mega Stone

I wasn't expecting Mega Lopunny, but I'm not complaining. Lopunny is one of my favorite Normal-types and now it can be stronger and faster and have a way better Ability. I am definitely going to train one despite those weird ears.

Mega Altaria just brings that classic quote from Despicable Me to my mind. You know which quote I'm talking about.

As for Mega Salamence, I am not a fan of its design, but I know it's going to be one of the most OP Megas ever. Aerilate Double-Edge will make every opponent wet their pants.

I knew the player characters would get cool Contest clothes, but I didn't anticipate those Pikachu getting new moves depending on their outfits. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I love Mega Altaria, it's so fluffy (I said the quote). Also Dragon/Fairy is a type combo that I was wanting to happen.

Mega Salamence looks like its wearing some kind of flight pack what with the 'straps' and its forelegs tucked in them.

It has also confirmed that the west is to get the Shiny Beldum event from game launch. Mega Lopunny gets increased Attack & Speed, Mega Salamence gets increased Defense and Mega Altaria getsincreased Attack & Special Attack, with a smaller Defense boost

Hordes have also been confirmed to return to the game, with an added bit against trainers. Cosplay Pikachu is confirmed to be separate to normal Pikachu and is the only one that can be dressed up.

Contest Spectacular has also got a brand new feature where you can use the 3DS's camera to implant yourself into the Pokémon Contest stage. Like before, you can gain various fans as your contest successes mount, and these fans can give you various items such as berries and more. Also, this confirms that the creation of PokéBlocks to improve your contest stat makes a return.

Hey, so, Mega Lopunny is awesome and will kick your ass-

Mega Lopunny’s wild fighting instincts, long dormant, have been awakened! A full-power strike from its ears could crumple solid steel plates. Its personality transforms and becomes extremely aggressive, which often leaves its Trainer feeling bewildered by the change.

All these changes to Pokémon Contests makes me really want to them when I get the game, I never cared much about Pokémon Contests in the old version.

I'd put all this stuff in the op, but because of this layout, the stuff past a certain point doesn't show up for whatever reason, otherwise I'd put it in. Oh well. Regardless, everything we see just makes me want the game more and I was already going to 100% buy it anyway, so this just eases the waiting pain.

Mega Slowbro and Mega Audino, eh? I certainly didn't see those coming. Suddenly I feel sorry for Slowking for some reason. Then again, I don't know how useful Mega Slowbro could possibly be with an Ability like Shell Armor. Losing Regenerator is bound to bite it in the ass (if it wasn't already bitten, hurr durr). As for Mega Audino, I'm glad it gets the Fairy-type but it couldn't get a better Ability than dumb old Healer? Sure, they both get more bulk and they already can learn some good healing moves, so perhaps making them lose Regenerator was a good decision. I wouldn't really know until I've battled against them.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get Mega Dragonite and Mega Hydreigon seeing as the other pseudo-legendary have got Mega Evolutions.

The only pseudo-legendary Pokémon who will not be getting a Mega Evolution is Goodra as this was stated for all Kalos region Pokémon.
