Deep in a cavern a mighty Salamence sleeps, until a familiar voice and her headlights show up. It's Jesse and Pumpkaboo. She plans to catch it, and use it to attack the twerps and steal Pikachu. However she accidentally kicks a rock and wakes the sleeping Salamence, and freaks her and Pumpkaboo out. She takes James' advice and plays dead. as Salamence sniffs up Jesse's skirt, she commands the other two to do something, and they tell her to use "The Happy Face", which is some bizarre device she affixes to Salamence's face as Salamence struggles however, the Happy Face grows angry and Salamence goes out of control.
The Salamence lets loose SOME ATTACK, and sends Meowth and Pumpkaboo blasting off, specifically by themselves.
What a chaotic scene, and as we all know from all those fairy tales, only...
... UGH.
Horribly bad attempts at puns aside, the twerps stop at a Pokémon Center, and are greeted by a horrifying pink abomination.
It's Wigglytuff, and it's making it's hideous way down the hall, as it trips and drops a bunch of Pokéballs.
Nurse Joy shows up, and explains that Wigglytuff just started, which is why it's a complete mess, I guess. Meanwhile an ambulance - because they totally have those now - shows up with a beat down Linoone and Bidoof.
Nurse Joy assures the twerps they'll be alright and tells Wigglytuff to take care of the Linoone, it tries to hop into the ambulance before losing it's balance and falling flat on it's fat ass.
Serena and Bonnie offer to help, while Ash and Clemont, noticeably don't, as they get Linoone inside, Nurse Joy checks on Bidoof and assures it it'll be fine. Ash and Clemont finally decide to offer help, Clemont goes full "Clemontic Gear" mode and prepares to use the Aipom Arm, but when he comes back to Earth, notices that Ash is carrying Bidoof inside by hand.
Immediately after another ambulance shows up, this one carrying a Pumpkaboo and Meowth. The ambulance workers tell them that they were badly injured, and need medical attention, and as Nurse Joy and Clemont take them in, the two ambulance workers, realize that "the twerp and his Pikachu" must be here.
As Clemont rolls in the Meowth, Wigglytuff (and Clemont) aren't looking where they're going and crash gurneys, and send Meowth flying. Wigglytuff tries to catch it, and spikes Meowth with it's head like a volleyball, throwing him into the wall scoring a goal for it's team! The "ambulance workers" come in and admonish Wigglytuff for throwing Meowth around like a Soccer Ball. Nurse Joy apologizes, and ANOTHER ambulance makes it's way to the Center, this time carrying a Teddiursa.
Later on, Nurse Joy informs the lady her Teddiursa is ready to go, Wigglytuff wheels it out, trips and sends it flying into the woman's arms.
Despite Teddiursa seeming to enjoy the ride, Wigglytuff is down on it's pretty atrocious performance.
Later on, again, Clemont asks how Teddiursa got injured. according to her, it was playing in the yard, and a crazed Salamence swooped down and fucked a bunch of shit up.
Everyone assumes something must have happened to make it do this, because there's no such thing as a bad Dragon-Type. The woman says she thinks it must be sick, and Nurse Joy commits to helping it. How she plans to is anyone's guess.
Wigglytuff sits outside and stares at the moon, when Pikachu comes up and has a conversation with it. Team Rocket shows up, prepared to steal both as payback for the knock on Meowth's noggin, but before they can move Ash shows up and convinces Wigglytuff to go back to the Center.
Back at the Pokémon Center, the twerps discuss the fact that they still can't find Salamence, granted Officer Jenny is on the case, so they may never find it.
Nurse Joy tells the twerps to not worry about Wigglytuff, because it has so many friends, as Bonnie picks up a book about Wigglytuff. Bonnie opens the first page and it shows a Wigglytuff throwing hands with a Flygon.
According to the book a lone Wigglytuff managed to pacify a rampaging horde of Flygon, then healed every injured Pokémon in the area. Apparently this story is why Kalos area Pokémon Centers use Wigglytuff, and not Audino or Chansey or Blissey, or even the much cuter Jigglypuff.
Wigglytuff overhears them talking about it, and gets all sentimental. It tries to run over to the twerps, but faceplants, as Joy assures it it's already trying very hard.
The next day Clemont has some Clemontic Gear ready to motivate Wigglytuff to "get up and go", which is weird because Wigglytuff's problem isn't motivation, it's problem is it's a horrific clumsy blob of errors.
Clemont tests the device by putting it on Bonnie's head, and it screams "Get up and go" a bunch of times. as Clemont waits for the other twerps to heap praise on him... he gets none. They're not very fond of it, it seems. But Wigglytuff is willing to try anything, as Clemont puts it on the Blob's head, it starts going on the fritz as per usual. Wigglytuff then falls over, and Pikachu manages to turn it off, until it explodes, because that's what Clemont's inventions do.
Suddenly another ambulance shows up out of nowhere, they heard the explosion and decided to show up, the suspiciously Team Rocket looking ambulance workers decide that THEY'LL decide who got hurt, and not the Nurse who's job it is to specifically help injured Pokémon. They grab up Wigglytuff and Pikachu, and as Ash asks what they'll do to them, they take their clothes off, and...
"Prepare for trouble, you know what we'll do!"
"And make it a double Pokémon coup!"
"To protect the world from devastation!"
"To unite all people within our nation!"
"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"
"To extend our reach to the stars above!"
Jesse!"
"and James!"
"Team Rocket's on the scene at the speed of light!"
"Surrender now, or prepare for a Five alarm fight!"
"Meowth, that's right!"
As Team Rocket prepare to make off with Pikachu and Wigglytuff, Ash tries to have him use Thunderbolt, but after years of being hit with Thunderbolt, they've figured out to make their shit electric proof.
Team Rocket then make off with their haul, but before they can get too far, they run into Salamence just sitting in the road. It's the same one from earlier and the hypnosis machine is still making it one pissed off motherfucker as it chases and attempts to murder our true heroes. It sends their ambulance flying, releasing Wigglytuff and Pikachu.
The Twerps and Nurse Joy arrive, and Team Rocket beg them for help, explaining that Salamence is acting this way because they gave it a "happy face", which in this context isn't code for a Blowjob.
While the twerps ponder what to do, Salamence upchucks another bazooka style attack at them (I don't know what attack it used) and they scatter, Nurse Joy tries to talk it off the ledge, it doesn't work, and it launches a Flamethrower (I guess) at her as Wigglytuff remembers (very slowly) all the good times they had, which conveniently only seems to encompass the moments we've already seen.
Wigglytuff's slow remembrance allows it to still block the attack with Protect, saving Nurse Joy from certain death. Salamence lets loose another attack as Wigglytuff stands and... isn't affected by it. This is of course because Wigglytuff is a Fairy-Type (and always has been, forever) and Dragon-Type moves have no affect on it.
Wigglytuff then calms Salamence down with Heal Pulse, allowing Ash to remove the Happy Face from it.
Salamence is still pissed at Team Rocket, and blasts them off, as everybody laughs at their pain and misfortune.
Later back at the Pokémon Center, Nurse Joy makes Wigglytuff cry by saying she depends on it.
The episode then ends with an interesting picture of Salamence just sitting on top of the Pokémon Center, and no one even making note of it.
Speaking of which, I wonder how Officer Jenny's search is going?
