Why is the dramatic potato chip scene from Death Note in there? Yes it was a ridiculous scene, but that is exactly what was said in the Japanese version.
It is not a weird dub line, it's just a weird line. The Death Note English dub is excellent anyway, I got so used to it that I forgot about the Japanese voices.
And they used a clip from an American Street Fighter Saturday morning cartoon.... In a positive talk about this, the guy saying "Fuck it! Shit!" was hilarious.

They should have done the moment where Teru Mikami goes "Delete! Delete! DELETE! Although the Death Note fandom are more used to hearing "Sakujo!" than "Delete!" The Death Note anime becomes ridiculously over-the-top during dramatic moments. |
