I'm getting into Attack on titan but those cliffhangers tho... they drive me crazy! I love the humor in Space Dandy but a friend of mine thinks its weird. I found it on hulu and he watched the first three episodes and didn't like that Dandy died every episode.
Anyone read Fairy Tail? the last chapter was really good, it also explained something that happened like 300 or so chapters ago.

I try to watch every anime that's on Toonami, although I was disappointed when Kamina ...uh died anyways, I'm not watching Toppa Tengan Gurren Lagann and I'm not watching Hellsing. I like Space Dandy the most, although they seem to be on break or canceled. I am also into Attack on Titan. Otherwise, I'm watching Black Butler, and I tried watching Yaoi but it's just as bad as other people say (watched 4 episodes Junjou Romantica, both episodes Papa to kiss in the dark, and I haven't actually watched it but like Youtuber's reactions to Boku no Pico). |

I've been working a lot of night shifts at work recently which has given me a lot of time to watch Toonami. I've mostly been watching Gurren Lagann and Hellsing. I actually watch Gurren Lagann on an annual basis but I like the idea of actually being able to see it on TV. It bugs me how they shortened the opening and ending and cut out the commercial bumpers entirely, though. As for Hellsing I'm still trying to wonder whether I would love this or hate this if I watched it when I was 10. At any rate I wish the voice actors wouldn't try to put fake accents on just because of the nationality their character is. I think the French dude is the worst offender of this.
Also the gag they did about Bruce Willis inhabiting Alucard's gun seemed really misplaced.

So anyways I watched Toonami again. Bleach ended, surprisingly. And... it sucked, that's what the creator wanted to do with the series...? I laughed at the end of Naruto because Sai was staupid enough not to dodge Orochimaru's attack and got stabbed with a sword, standing there like dielobsterguy's Quagsire. Hellsing disappointed me.

So anyways I watched Toonami again. Bleach ended, surprisingly. And... it sucked, that's what the creator wanted to do with the series...? The Bleach anime ended, the manga is still going. If you want to continue from the were the anime left off with the manga it starts from chapter 480. This arc reveals stuff of importance which were mentioned earlier in the series (like the Soul King). I don't think Bleach is good anyway (it used to be). And by that I mean the early arcs, after them Bleach went downhill. The current arc is slightly better than what we've had before it, but it's still "meh". One of the reasons why the Bleach anime ended is due to lack of content to make a filler arc, because at the time the anime was too close to the manga in Japan and usually when that happens they create a filler arc to stretch out the gaps between. However due to there being a time skip it meant there were changes that happened with the characters, but only some of them were revealed in the manga when the anime caught up, so the writers basically had no choice but to end it. It's said the Bleach anime could make a return once the current arc finishes in the manga, which is supposed to be the final arc as well. |

So far my favorite anime series are Attack on Titan, Black Butler, Death Note, and Pokémon.
So, why is even Luffy running after the One Piece anyways? He doesn't seem to like money...?

Luffy is after One Piece because he wants to be King of the Pirates, he has boasted about this many times.
And he wants to become the next Pirate King because that's the person with the most freedom on the sea.

I don't get the connection with licking a sweet and being gay. There's nothing wrong with the latter.
By the way Sanji never licked the lollipop, it was originally a cigarette so the lolly hangs in his mouth.

2. Some people would consider both lollipop sucking and crossrdessing as queer or fruity and thus, the joke.

Actually okama is a Japanese slang term for transvestite or homosexual. Also I should point out transvestites and drag queens are not the same.
A transvestite is a person who wears clothes of the opposite gender out of compulsion, a drag queen is a man who cross dresses for performance.
