Data miners have extracted details from the Sun & Moon demo and most (there are about five sprites they couldn't get to) of the Pokédex has been leaked.
Now, if you may or may not have noticed, I don't post leaks here (wherever confirmed or not) for legal reasons, so you need to search for them yourselves.
However if you rather wait for them to be officially revealed or discover them for yourself in the games, then be careful... even though that will be impossible.

I saw the sprites and I have to say, I'm impressed. I was surprised at some of the Pokémon not evolving, but I assume some of them are decent on their own right. Of course, I also know that every Gen has to have some bad Pokémon too, so I hope that most of them are those that either don't evolve or have crap typings and/or Abilities and movepools. I'd hate for a cool Pokémon with awesome typing and Ability to actually suck.
About the Pokémon that were announced last week, I like them all except for Alolan Grimer and Muk. Ugh, they somehow look even worse than before. They used to be only unoriginal, but now they look outright horrid. At least Poison/Dark-type is a pretty good combination.
I think I've learned to like Silvally. I probably won't use one, but I think it has interesting lore and I can't wait to see what its role will be in the game. Was it created by Team Skull or the Aether Foundation and why? It's a Mini-Arceus, so will Arceus appear in the game? Or is it simply foreshadowing for Sinnoh remakes? We'll see.
Oh, and Olivia is yet another Alolan hottie. Will they ever end? This Generation really loves its fanboys.

I'm just glad Incineroar isn't another Fire/Fighting type despite the wrestler look. Cool that it's specifically using the idea of heel wrestlers to make it a Dark type.
Also interesting that Decidueye goes from Grass/Flying to Grass/Ghost.

Grass/Ghost, Fire/Dark and Water/Fairy, huh? That's better than what I expected. I thought Decidueye (what a weird name) would remain a Grass/Flying-type, but I'm glad it didn't. I'm also glad Incineroar isn't another Firefighter, and I had a feeling Primarina would be a Fairy-type. I love that this makes Primarina pretty much the best choice, since it has a huge advantage over Incineroar and it also has only a 2X weakness against Decidueye. In Kalos, all starters had 4X weaknesses against their rival counterparts, so unless Ghost has been made super-effective against Fairy in this Gen, poor Decidueye really got the short end of the stick.
Their signature moves, however, seem to favor Decidueye. Is Spirit Shackle the first move that does damage in addition to preventing escape? That is fucking awesome. Darkest Lariat might also have some use, but unfortunately I don't see how Sparkling Aria would be useful in any way. Perhaps it does double damage against burned opponents in addition to healing their burns, but I don't remember seeing anyone use Smelling Salts or Wake-Up Slap against me in online battles, so I doubt Sparkling Aria will be more popular unless it's significantly more powerful than those other two moves.
None of the island guardians is Fire/Fairy? How odd. Also, Poni Island. Kek.
Cosmog is cute and Alolan Persian looks hilarious. I doubt I'll use Alolan Persian, but I have to say that Fur Coat is certainly a nice Ability for it.
I should have known that they'd find a way to add Cynthia in this game. EVERYONE loves Cynthia. It's nice to see Wally too, but I wonder how can he still be a kid when Red and Blue look like they're twenty. These timelines are so confusing...
So they're building a Pokémon League in Alola. I don't know if I want them to finish it or not. I guess it would be nice to become the Alolan Champion, and based on what Blue said in the trailer, I have a feeling I will, but I really liked the idea of not having Gyms or the League for a change. At first, we thought there were only four Trial Captains and four Kahunas, but now there are five Trial Captains we know of, so presumably there will be more than four Kahunas too. If the player has to battle all of them, then that would mean there's way more than the traditional eight Gym Battles. Add the Totem Pokémon and the League and G-fucking-G. Oh well, at least I know I'll enjoy the Battle Tree. It can't be more dull than the Battle Maison, right?
Another thing I know I'll enjoy is Free Battles. FINALLY, I'll be able to have battles only against Trainers like me who don't use legendaries. Most people who use legendaries are either total noobs who have no idea what they're doing, or assholes who are pretty much unbeatable because they use Mega Rayquaza and both Primals and think that makes them tough. No more.

In Kalos, all starters had 4X weaknesses against their rival counterparts, so unless Ghost has been made super-effective against Fairy in this Gen, poor Decidueye really got the short end of the stick. Maybe if you were to only pit them against each other one on one, but at what point in the game would you be challenged to fight against the final evolved starters and only be allowed to use your final evolved starter, and not make use of the other Pokemon you have? Some of which probably selected to cover the types your starter is weak against. Type also isn't the sole determining factor, since there's also how stats are distributed, possible movesets, and the types of niches that Pokemon would fill on your team and whether or not there's a Pokemon that does the same role but better.. And it's not that huge of an advantage. Incineroar also only has a 2x weakness against Primarina's water type moves and neutral damage to its fairy type moves. Its STAB moves may not be effective, but it'll probably have some other moves that are either super effective or at least neutral. At first, we thought there were only four Trial Captains and four Kahunas, but now there are five Trial Captains we know of, so presumably there will be more than four Kahunas too. If the player has to battle all of them, then that would mean there's way more than the traditional eight Gym Battles. I thought it was going to be 4 trial captains per Kahuna. So 16 captains, 4 kahunas. Though since the captains shown so far and Olivia have been shown to specialize in a type. I wonder if 2 kahunas only have 3 captains so they don't overlap on type specialists. That or maybe 2 kahunas don't have a specialized typing.

Rumor is there's only seven captains, period. [Though on the other hand, a plot twist would be Guzma being the final captain because he has white hair and this rumor relies on them being rainbow colors of sorts, with pink standing in for violet. Maybe.] I kinda hope I'll be wrong, but I 'unno.

Of course I know all that. I just happen to consider Primarina the best choice. As a Water/Fairy-type, it has only three weaknesses and I doubt it will have bad Stats or movepool. And even if it will, I'll still choose it. After all, every Pokémon can learn only four moves, and most Water-types can learn at least Ice Beam. I think Primarina might be able to learn cool special attacks like Psychic and Energy Ball/Grass Knot too, and if not, then I'll just run a set with two STABs, Ice Beam and the best possible support move it can learn. And it's not that huge of an advantage. Incineroar also only has a 2x weakness against Primarina's water type moves and neutral damage to its fairy type moves. Its STAB moves may not be effective, but it'll probably have some other moves that are either super effective or at least neutral. ...Damn. For some reason, I completely forgot that Fire resists Fairy. Wow, now I look like an idiot. Oh hell no, that'd be way too many important character battles in one game. My guess is that every Island will have two Trial Captains and one Kahuna. Then again, it still hasn't been confirmed whether the player has to battle the Trial Captains or not. Yes, I know it's very likely, but wasn't the whole point of the Trials to test the player in other ways than battling?

So I'm very, very late saying this, but one of the producers of the Sun and Moon games revealed that Ultra Beasts can be caught by the player.
Also there are new CoroCoro leaks on Serebii, but I am unable to post them right now.

Yeah, it's good. At first I was surprised about the new CoroCoro leaks, but then I remembered that they haven't revealed the Alola Starters' secret yet and I suppose this was it.
You might all already know about this, but someone got the game early and is leaking everything online, so be careful if you want to avoid spoilers. However the worst part is that person put the game up online for download, which means there will be people downloading and playing it illegally and thus making spoilers harder to avoid as multiple people will be posting them.

Wouldn't Nintendo have put in anti-piracy stuff? Like I remember with BW you apparently couldn't get experience if your copy was pirated.
