I like variety in Pokémon's personalities, I think if they all behaved in a similar way it would be/get boring. Plus it makes me view the Pokémon in different ways.
On topic, as I'm in the UK I've been seeing the dub episodes before anyone who lives in the US (and I can watch them legally online on ITV Player if I miss it on TV). I'm tempted to talk about one of these episodes, but I have to wait until you've all seen it and the guide is up, if I was good at writing I could have done it.
The latest episode that aired in the UK, on CITV, at Sunday 29th June, was "To Find a Fairy Flower!" (the Flabébé episode) which will be aired in the US, on CN, at 19th July. The UK is two episodes ahead of America, but once this season is finished CITV will start it back from the beginning and America will be first again.

I should have the next guide up by tomorrow, got busy/lazy this weekend.
Also, why is the UK ahead of America? Did the special episode knock the order out of wack

It's because CITV shows two episodes a week in the UK, one on Saturday and another on Sunday.
Actually the UK is getting close to Japan, so they might restart before the dub's 17th season ends.

Say, if that Bonnie filler's the episode about Flabébé, If you don't mind,I could take it off your hands. I like Flabébé, it's evolutionary line is one of my favorite Gen VI Pokémon. Also, Going for the Gold was a boring episode, so I'd like a mulligan. Well, I can handle it, even though I think that it is just as boring as the "Going For The Gold!" episode. But, if you really want it, go ahead, be my guest. I do not mind at all. Also, if you decide to write a guide for it, watch out for the pedo man Sorry for brin ging ( )this back up, but I also want to add the reason why it's stupid to think Iris wasn't close to Ash and Cilan just because she gets annoyed with them, calling Ash a kid and Cilan a pain, is because it's a common thing in anime to have that one friend who gets annoyed with the stupid things their friends do. Heck some of them even hit their friends if they do anything stupid (like Nami in One Piece or Sakura in Naruto) but it's clearly shown they are still friends - fact; the Straw Hat Pirates are as close as family - which is exactly the same with Iris (who's annoyance is mild compared to characters in most other animes). Friends fight, they get annoyed with each other, but in the end they all still care. And if a silly argument breaks them apart it doesn't take them long to regret it. The thing is, I never said wrote that Iris was not friendly to Ash and Cilan. Instead, I believe they were close to each other, and there were times that Iris went to a great extent in order to cheer for Ash (Virbank Gym, anyone?). After all, there is a difference between hostile and least friendly/most distant. I know that there have been many conflicts among the twerps, mainly between Ash and the girls - especially Misty, but, come on! This feels different! Iris went as far as abandoning her friends in the middle of nowhere and leaving everything behind, over a slight misunderstanding! Heck, if it had not rained, she would have probably left the gang for good. On the other hand, the one time Misty ran off in frustration, was because Ash was being a total dick to her (unintentionally), like everything they had been through meant nothing to him. Even then, she just needed some time alone, and she did not think about kissing their asses goodbye (she did not even take her bike with her ). I repeat: Iris was by no means unfriendly and hostile towards her friends. It just felt that she was the most distant compared to the other twerps. Jesus Christ Lucario doesn't need that many episodes. I'm takin' 'em all. Blast it! Korrina is a pretty interesting character, and I believe everyone would want to write a guide for an episode dedicated to her! I've seen like a dozen .gifs of Lucario beating the shit out of Pikachu on /vp/ and I can't help but feel that it's a really apt metaphor for the franchise as of now in some way. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....*an eternity later* .....OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL!!!.....Sorry, I couldn't help it... the Zorua you get that belonged to N (which also had a good nature and an almost perfect IV spread) I have played Black 2, and, after doing some research, I came to the conclusion that N's Zorua is always a Hasty nature with 30 IVs in every stat (with the perfect being 31), which leads to Hidden Power Fighting with 70 base power. Now, about Lucario. In my opinion, Lucario is a pretty cool Pokemon all around, and, most importantly, deserves all the fame it can get, unlike Charizard, who, until recently, got most if not all of its fame thanks to its design. Charizard has always been overrated, and the heart of the "lol u r a 'zard n00b, get gud" joke. Lucario, on the other hand, has amazing potential, and has been a pretty dependable and solid Pokemon, ever since its debut. It also has amazing personality characteristics, and this is why it feels awkward to me when I see a cheerful Lucario, like Korrina's. It is just like Mewtwo in Pokemon Amie! Like Don said, Lucario has had more than enough screentime so far, and this is why it would not be exactly great if Ash got one (Charizard and Pikachu are too much for him, anyway). Zoroark's turn. I like everything about Zoroark, except for its lipstick. It has a great design, well-rounded stats, a nice Dark typing (Dark types really tend to get into me), an awesome movepool, and a trollish unique ability, which, like Die Lobsterguy said, is hindered by Team Preview. Fucking Team Preview, why did they have to add it? In my opinion, this is bullshit. Unfortunately, unlike Lucario, who shared a similar concept with it, Zoroark did not get the attention it deserved. It had a very limited distribution in Black and White, and, by the time Black and White 2 came out, the Generation had already come close to its end. The anime also left you wanting more of Zoroark. Last, I noticed that nobody has called dibs on the "Breaking Titles at the Chateau!" episode! Does anyone want it, or shall I handle it myself?

Here is my Mega Lucario beating up Pikachu gif, it became popular very quickly and I love most of the comments people have given it. These scenes don't happen straight after each other in the episode, I made this gif from a preview which showed them in that order.

Has anyone noticed the dub has been doing this thing were they give some people and Pokémon their own tune which plays most of the time they're shown? On the themes for the Pokémon; you can hear them on the "Who's That Pokémon?" segment. Listen and you can hear the music is different for each Pokémon.

Oh yeah, I noticed it in the last few episodes. It's kinda cute actually. Still, I hate how they change some of the most epic background music during battles, mainly Lysandre's theme. Ash and Grant's battle in the dub sounded much less epic without it.

Yep and once you hear it you will notice it whenever the Pokémon appears on screen, one of the most noticeable is Amaura.
I don't like how most of the anime adaptation of the game music is being replaced. I love most of the music in the XY games.

So as CITV has gotten too close to Japan in episodes they are restarting from the first XY episode.
Very soon America will be back in front of the UK and this will start from 9th August. Just noting this.

So, who was in charge of writing the next guide? The Gym Battle episode was awesome, I'd like to discuss it soon in its own thread. We're also still missing a guide for the Battle Chateau episode as well.

I was going to call like the next 5 after whenever the last one was called, so, I guess I'll call the next 5 after this one.

Hey guys just wanted to post and apologize that I haven't put last week's episode up yet. I won't bore you with the details but basically the universe decided to give me the busiest schedule this week. I feel especially shitty about this since I promised the last time this happened that it wouldn't happen again, but I'll do my best to get it up by late Sunday.
Also haha am I up for those next five episodes already? Sheeeeeeeeiiiit.
