A Plethora of Pikachu!
Oh my GOD this was so incredibly annoying! I could leave it at that and the point would be clear: this episode was painful to experience. Pikarla was really fucking annoying and so was that stupid verbal tic she introduced and had everyone copy. In fact, I think it's time I said this:
Pinky the lab mouse is the one and only character who's ever made verbal tics funny and endearing. Everyone else (especially characters from JP cartoons) failed completely. So stop trying to make them funny because that's impossible (again, for anyone not named Pinky). Verbal tics aren't funny if you aren't Pinky the lab mouse!
Curly's theme is the only good thing about this episode. Otherwise, it was complete junk and how dare it be the act to follow the greatness that was last week's episode?

If I had to pika- I mean pick a thing I really enjoyed about this episode, it did elaborate on diversity between Pokémon species in different regions. Like hiw Kanto Pikachu have sparkly coats while Alola Pikachu have glossy ones!

Turning the Other Mask!
I'll say it as much as I need to: though he's a far more bearable character than a certain not-at-all-redeemed purple unicorn, Faba's definitely not all that redeemed himself. Can't stand the guy, even despite Daniel J. Edwards' great performance.
Yeah, wrestlers break rules all the time, but laws, too??
Nice touch cheapening the music for the fake Masked Royal's entrance. Reminds me of how Pokemon Colosseum did that for the Mirakle B. fight. Plus, it was nice to hear the training montage theme return when Masked Royal was being cheered for.
This was a fun one and a good ending to Ultra Adventures.

Weird episode to end a season on, I must say... Also, usually recurring villians in Pokémon lower in the threat chain the more they show up. (Hunter J being the exception) But, Mad Magma did things in reverse. He went from a cheater to threatening a crowd! That's a pretty jump!

They should've ended the season at episode 90 and saved the next two episodes for season 22.

I'm really curious to know who is the English dub voice actor of Hau.
He's clearly being voice by a young male, Hau actually sounds like his age.

Ultra Legends opening. The title is "The Challenge of Life."
Well, this easily wins the awards of best SM saga opening and best opening composed by Mr. Goldfarb. Kudos, sir!

Not sure why they had to put in a scene from the Eevee shorts in the intro, there was plenty of scences they could use from the Japanese ones.
Turns out they put the Eevee segment with the episode, just like they did in Japan. Oh and as you know, not a fan of Eevee having a dub voice.

I really like it! Not "Top 5" material, but a welcome addition!

The opening episode for "Ultra Legends" was a silly one, but also a fun one. The highlight was definitely the Pokémon wearing costumes based on themselves!

Looks like Nagisa will be known as Sandy in the west. Which ends with a "y" as I assumed it would.

What makes this choice interesting is there's a character in Magical Pokémon Journey who's named Nagisa in Japanese and Sandy in English: bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Sandy_(MPJ) I wonder if whoever choses the dub names in TPCI knew of this or if it is simply a coincidence.
