About Lana and Eevee, people don't want her to catch it because they don't think she's "important" enough. Here are the three reasons to why that is stupid.
1. She's a main character. That is literally the most important role she could possibly have.
2. Catching a Pokémon would add substance to her character, making her more important.
3. All the schoolmates' Pokémon are the best of friends. You're going to see them all together just like in the lastest Eevee short. No matter who catches, Eevee will be a big part of the show. Heck, it'll be important even if stays wild!

The way people are whining about this is equivalent to the complaining with the Kalos League. It's pathetic, acting like a bunch of cry babies saying crap like "I'll quit the show if it happens". Honestly, these Eevee shorts were better before the main cast's Pokemon showed up. The main character's Pokémon showing up is what leads to the SM099 as Eevee wants to meet up with them again.

The main character's Pokémon showing up is what leads to the SM099 as Eevee wants to meet up with them again. I know there's a story reason for them appearing. I just hate the way they sound in the JP version. Up until now, those Eevee shorts had good voicework and good voices overall. Then they showed up and I had to take that point away.

First, I would have preferred that Ash caught Eevee, because Ash still needs two more Pokémon before the league begins. Although, I don't mind Lana catching the Eevee. She could use some development (and maybe shut some people up, who say that Ash's classmates, besides Lillie, don't get any development) And second, this is why the dub should either put these "Where's Eevee Going" segments at the end of the episodes in which these segments aired, or put them up on YouTube, because if they don't, then the Eevee that shows up in the next episode will seem like it came out of nowhere.

I'm just going to copy and paste this comment I just read on Youtube in regards to the whole 'who gets' Eevee debate.
Okay actually. I think both sides of the arguments are rather strong. If you didn't see this comment before, I basically said that I thought Lana was gonna catch Eevee and evolve it into Vaporeon later down the line, due to what was shown in this trailer. However, I realized that Ash also has some points on why he could catch Eevee as well. Here I will list points for both sides of the argument. - Lana catching Eevee: 1. Eevee seems to form a friendship with Popplio and this could make Lana want to catch it. 2. That shot with Popplio and Eevee in Lana's eyes could be a giveaway. 3. Lana is kind of in need for another team member the most out of the main characters. - Ash catching Eevee: 1. He currently only has a team of four at the moment and if we assume Poipole (As a Naganadel) is coming back for the Pokémon League. That would only make five. Ash catching Eevee could make it his sixth team member and honestly, we don't know what other Alola Pokémon he could catch. 2. Why would they give this Eevee six special segments if a character that is not as important as Ash was going to catch it. 3. Ash catching a Eevee could give a possible rivalry to Gladion's Umbreon. Heck, he could evolve it into a Espeon so then there would be a rivalry between the two Johto Eevee evolutions.
for me I think it's going to be a 50/50 on who gets it.

I'll keep to the opinion that it's completely in the air that it can go anyway. The whole SM anime has been nothing but one surprise after another; who's to say that the Eevee may also remain wild the whole time? Possibly not, heck very likely not, but it's a potential option.
I do estimate at this point it's likely either to go to Ash, Lillie, or Lana. The league's coming up and if they want to avoid the mistakes of Kalos, not brow beat it for too long and throw in something at the last second if they don't want Ash to reuse his previous Pokemon like he did in Sinnoh.
(Plus on a side note, I've lost track of how many fanfics give him an Espeon to rival Gary's Umbreon. I will also confess that it would be strange if Ash does get the Eevee, as remember, the anime is here to advertise the games and what Ash catches generally is region specific. That being said there's the recent Let's Go games to consider...)

Wait, even Suiren's Ashimari? With that cute and goofy, arfing and awooing seal voice? It has got one of the best voices ever! Her dub voice is cute and has all that. Her JP voice... I can't even tell what in the world she's doing. Popplio doesn't say "Awoo!", Ashimari does, I wasn't making up what I thought I heard, it literally says that. In the dub, Popplio goes "Pop Pop!". Ashimari also says: "Ar-woo! Ar! Ar! Aoooo-oooo-ah!" and there is a goofy tone in its voice. While Popplio voice isn't silly, it sounds like a puppy. This is in fact one of my favourite things about the Japanese Pokémon voices; saying part of their name, but not really, it makes it more unique. Another Pokémon who does this is Togedemaru, were in the Japanese version she sounds like she is saying "Ma-ju!" it's so weird and I love that.

While it might be 29th November where I live, it's currently 30th November in Japan, which means today is Rica Matsumoto's birthday! Rica, as all you know, is known by the Pokémon fandom as the voice actress for Satoshi in the Japanese version of the Pokémon anime. Her voice acting is one of the most amazing ones I have heard, Rica Matsumoto always knows how to get the correct tones into Satoshi's voice, depending on his mood, so there's not a time were she underacts or overacts. Rica is also an excellent singer, the songs she sings being mainly filled with energy, but she can also sing laid-back songs too (see "Goodnight, My Pikachu" for example). Rica is just a great woman throughout. I want to wish Rica Matsumoto a very happy birthday and thank her for blessing the Pokémon fandom with her amazing voice and singing talent. Rica Matsumoto even had a Birthday Night, which was at the Japan date of 29th November. See it on her Twitter: twitter.com/rica_matsumoto3.

Rica puts on quite an amazing hot-blooded show! Like she really ups the ham when she has Ash/Satoshi shouting during a battle. "Pikachu! THUNDAABOOLT!" "Getto Daze!" And yes, her singing is great! It's hard to imagine what Ash or her many other roles would be without her! (Sure we got Veronica Taylor for the dub back in the day, but that's just another piece of the pie on the other side! Still, because of Rica, it's where all those Dark Ash memes come from since she also voiced Bakura from Yugioh. Mind me, I always found them humorous!)

Though I'm no fan of her performance as Ash, I wish her a Happy Birthday as well!

Full summary and voice cast for SM100-SM099 screenshots: www.filb.de/anime/sm/099 and SM100 preview video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=jE9KE6JW0mwWelcome to Suiren's team and family, Nagisa the Eievui! Also Ashimari learned Surf and we got to see Suiren's father in full. Suiren cut Nagisa's hair to look similar to hers, so no more shaggy, floofy, hair. I'm kind of sad, but the new style is cute too. Meaning of the name Nagisa: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagisa so the dub name will be something to do with the beach, basically. There's another bit of creativity in the "Who is it?" section, were Tupper and Wrap arguing over Eievui is heard over the question and the answer. The ending was updated to show Nagisa the Eievui with its new haircut and Pikachu is wearing a Santa hat during the Pokémon in a bubble scene.

My prediction for that Eevee's dub name is Sandy. I won't be sad if my guess is wrong.

So the Some-Stuffs fan subtitles chose to use "Marin" as the English equivalent for Nagisa, which is a surprising choice.
I was expecting them to go closer to what the name translates to, seeing as they did it with Shiron, calling it Snowball.

Maybe something cute, like "Splashy" or "Wavy" It might not even end with an "Y". Like "Aqua" or "Coast".
