I love Noibat. It's adorable. This isn't the first time Ash has had to help a Pokémon learn something that should come to it naturally (Cyndaquil, Oshawott) and he's also a very kind and patient Trainer, so that Noibat was very lucky indeed that it was the twerps who found its egg. I just wonder why the parents abandoned it. Did they somehow know that the Noibat from the egg would be weaker than usual and so they left it there to die? Nature can be so cruel.
The Sky Relay episode was fun, and I agree with you, Don, I'm glad Ash didn't win. To be totally honest, I don't think he even deserved second place. Noibat did well, but it just learned to fly, so seeing it keep up so well with a Pokémon that had been trained specifically for the Relay felt quite unbelievable. Anyway, Ash didn't win and that's good. He's always done too well in these kinds of annual contests and races against people who had competed in and trained for them for years. Fletchinder also didn't evolve in an episode about Flying-types and their Trainers competing, so that's a first for Ash's regional birds since Hoenn.
I haven't seen the Pikachu movie episode yet, because it seems to have disappeared from the site where I watch the Japanese episodes. How strange. I have seen the next two episodes, however. The Poké Ball Factory episode was brilliant. It even introduced a whole new method for Team Rocket to try and catch Pikachu - just steal his Poké Ball from Ash and try to call him back into the Ball. How come they only now thought of that? Pikachu dodging the Poké Ball's beam for so long was absolutely amazing, but it also felt rather pointless. Even if Meowth had managed to get Pikachu inside his Poké Ball for the first time since the first episode, I'm sure Pikachu could still have escaped. After all, lots of Pokémon are able to let themselves out of their Poké Balls, and Pikachu hates being in it so much that he surely would have managed it in a record time. The episode had a lot of other great stuff too. Surely everyone could see the twerps' escape from the locked room coming the second they noticed Clemont building a new machine in the background. It's hilarious how the machine both exploded and also did the very thing it was built for. The animation in the episode was superb, I loved watching every second of it. I'm a little disappointed that the factory workers didn't give the twerps a Master Ball after they were rescued, but what can you do. I guess only their boss is allowed to do that and he wasn't in that day.
Serena's second Showcase episode was cool too. It's been a long time since the last truly bad episode and I love it. XY just keeps impressing me. I had a feeling Serena would win this time, but I never would have guessed that her victory would be so overwhelming. Was she really that good? She absolutely dominated everyone else when the audience got to vote for the winner. I just hope she got most of those votes because the audience loved her performance and not because they remembered her last Showcase and felt sorry for her. Everyone watching her win on the TV was beautiful. Serena really has a lot of supporters, more than I even realized. The writers even remembered that Trevor exists and showed him alongside his two friends. I laughed at Sycamore getting hug-blocked. Palermo was nowhere to be seen, though. Odd. It was nice to see Miette again too. I have no idea what she said most of the time, but she clearly hasn't forgotten Serena's crush on Ash. I love it when Serena blushes, so Miette suddenly became one of my favorite rivals. I didn't notice her new voice, I'm sorry to say. It's been ages since I last saw her first episode and this was only her second appearance in the show, after all. I hope we'll get to see her many more times, preferably at the same time with Shauna. I want to see what Serena's main rivals will think of each other. Will they be like Zoey and Ursula (a friendly rival and a total bitch) or Zoey and Kenny (two friendly rivals)? I doubt they'll be like Burgundy and Georgia (two bitchy BFFs).

Serena remembers she lost the previous TriPokalon because Fokko's ribbon was too long and it got in the way, so Serena resewed her own skirt to be shorter. The writers even remembered that Trevor exists and showed him alongside his two friends. Oh god, I have never read any so baffling and stupid. Can you stop this? The writers did not write XY080 a few day ago, it's been in production for a long time. They had it written up long before XY042 aired in Japan, besides 38 episodes isn't that long a gap to forget a character and one who appears in the XY games.

Take a chill pill, Don. I didn't say that because I don't like Trevor. I actually like him very much and that's why it would be nice to see him again in an episode where he gets to do something by himself and stand out in some way. I feel like he was the least noticable one of his friend group back at the Summer Camp and since this was his first appearance since then, can you blame me for getting a little impatient? Wait, don't answer that. Of course you can.

Actually I'm annoyed because you are talking about the same writers who still remember Ash's Primeape, who hasn't been seen since Ash gave it away.
It has nothing to do with what you think of Trevor, it's you believing the Pokémon anime writers are completely forgetful of things, when no, they aren't.

Oh come on, I don't really believe the writers have forgotten about Trevor, I was just saying that to get my point across. He's been ignored for a long time and I'd like to see him appear in an episode by himself without Tierno and Shauna, that's all. I know it's entirely possible it will happen one day, but Ash already has six Badges and we don't even know anything about Trevor yet except that he wants to see all the Pokémon in the world. If he spent a little time with Ash, he'd surely get to see some rare and cool Pokémon and we might learn more about him as well.
Btw, I love your new avatar.

Trevor can appear anywhere in the Kalos region and he can reappear again whenever the group revisit Lumiose City as Trevor lives there.
And I'm sure they will come back to Lumiose again because that place has a lot to do (plus Team Flare and maybe Emma). Also I thank you.

New videos which are connected with The Archdjinni of Rings: Hoopa Forgot to say in XY080, Dr. Platane trying to hug his female assistants while yelling "Marvellous!" being dodged and then face planting made me laugh so hard.
With the next XY movie premièring on 18th July, next Thursday (16th July) will be the TV airing of the first XY movie and the Pikachu short which accompanied it- I will definitely be watching the main movie, live that is (I have already seen the mini one) as I refuse to watch the dub version due to their soundtrack change.

Teaser images from CoroCoro for the third Pokémon XY movie has leaked and it features a mysterious 'new' Pokémon which has quite a frighting design: A Tumblr artist drew the teaser trailer for this movie (just the first and third, the rest is not from the teaser): ocota-cota.tumblr.com/post/123350609134As you can see, it showed Zygarde's patterns. Also that Pokémon has similarities to Zygarde (hexagons, similar frills) hinting that it is a form of Zygarde. In Zygarde's X Pokédex entry, it's said to have a secret power that is reveals when the world's ecosystem falls into disarray, this form could be just that. And it also explains why Zygarde has such mediocre statistics for the type of Legendary Pokémon it is, because this order-keeping Pokémon is sealing its true power.

All right! Two evolutions, Trevor's return, a battle against a legendary Pokémon and a new capture (maybe two) coming up soon! Have I ever told you how much I love the XY series?

The second preview for XY082 reveals Jessie will be trading her Pumpkaboo for a Mawile, she most likely agrees after hearing Mawile can Mega Evolve. Of course, the preview reveals Jessie will be recalling all of her fond memories with Pumpkaboo and will soon ask for her newly evolved Gourgeist back.
So along with the highly-possible to be a new Zygarde form, another new Pokémon was shown in a teaser for the 3rd Pokémon XY movie. Here's a sketch of it: Its colouring is said to be green with a red belly. While it might be a new Pokémon, another theory is it's part of Zygarde, which fits the zygote part of its name. But a few people, myself included, have a more out there theory: it's a new Pokémon, but it's part of the 6th gen. After the big surprise of Black 2 and White 2 (instead of getting a remake of Black and White, we got two sequels) none of us now know what to expect for the game were Zygarde's the mascot and with Junichi Masuda saying he would love to continue surprising the players of Pokémon, I would not put it past them doing something as crazy as this. That would end up explaining why there are only 69 Kalos region Pokémon, because it turns out the rest of the 6th generation Pokémon are all located in a different land. More proof that monstrous Pokémon is a form of Zygarde: the hexagons on its body pulsate. I'd like to know your thoughts on both these new Pokémon/forms.
About XY085 and Braixen's broken twig; if you've been playing close attention to the current ending, you may have noticed Braixen's twig has a pink bow on it. It is also shown in the upcoming episodes trailer in Serena's next performance. So Braixen's twig does not get replaced, instead it gets tied back with a ribbon.

I've never been a fan of using legendaries, so I don't really have an opinion about Zygarde's new form except that I totally saw it coming because it's normally so much weaker than Xerneas and Yveltal. As for the possible new Pokémon, that's much more interesting. At first I thought it might be the first Gen 7 Pokémon, but after reading your post, I must now consider your theories as well. Whatever it is, it's pretty cute and simple-looking and that's the way I like it.
