Hello. I am starting to pre-type this at 5:30am Sun. I'll explain why later. I don't know when I'll post this. I'll just get right to the food.
Sat: My meal was basically the same as last week, but instead of Pringles and tuna, I had s&v Lay;s Stax, and ALDI Vienna saus. They were good.
Sun: I had a bag of PF Goldfish pretzels. They were good.
Mon: For a snack, I had a bag of generic brand croutons. They were the Cheese & Garlic flavor. They were good.
My meal was fried rice and veggies with half a bag of peas & carrots. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
The meat item was a can of Beach Cliff sardines. They were the mustard variety. They were good.
Tue: For a snack, I had a bag of Good Sense Sesame Oat Bran Sticks. They were good.
I also opened up a jar of Great Value olives stuffed with blue cheese. I only had a few. They were good even though I don't think I tasted the blue cheese.
My meal was fried rice and veggies with half a bag of peas & carrots. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
The meat item was a can of Beach Cliff sardines. They were the oil variety. They were good.
Wed: I had some more olives. They were good. I had 2 snacks from a grocery store. One was some crab salad. It was good. The other was a cabbage roll. It was good. I warmed it up in the microwave of maybe 40sec. I don't remember if I set the microwave to 50% power or not. I don't think I'll buy one again since it was $3.99, and wasn't that big.
My meal was fried rice and veggies with half a bag of broccoli. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
The meat item was a can of Beach Cliff sardines. They were the hot sauce variety. They were good. The hot sauce had some heat to it. More than the ALDI ones. I don't recall if the other2 kinds were better than the ALDI ones. I should have made notations.
I mentioned in my Dec2 post about ALDI upping their prices on sardines by $.10, so they're now $.99. I have some more BC sardines. I'll be getting those at Dollar Tree until ALDI lowers the price on theirs. I also have 2 more cans of the Sunny Sea ones, but that wasn't due to the ALDI price hike. The SS cans have 7oz; The other brands are 3.75oz.
Thu: I have to give some background info to explain part of my meal choice. When they have potluck meals at work, I don't participate due to my OCD. Due to what I was working on, I felt I could get some stuff. I took a small thing filled with chicken. I don't know if it was an enchilada or tamale. It was smaller than an eggroll in length, if not also diameter. It was super good. The main component of the meal was a taco bar. The one lady that acts as my mom there said there was a lot of stuff left over. She organized the meal and I think brought a lot of the stuff in. The flour tortillas they had were burrito sized. I made a large soft taco with one. It was good. I had a second one which was also good. I remember lifting the second one and noticing how heavy it was. Those and the chicken thing I had first were more of a meal than a snack. I was actually full.
Thu is my Arby's French dip day while the 2/$6 promotion is going on. I figured from the food at .work, I wouldn't be really hungry. I decided to just get the 4 sandwiches and no onion rings. There was a slight unsanitary incident, but it didn't affect the food, just the bags it came in.
I had my sandwiches, and they were good. This Arby's was a bit stingy on the beef juice, so I had just enough.
By the time I was ready to have my meal, I wasn't full. I'm thinking I was actually having hunger pains. Since I didn't get the onion rings, I decided to have something else. It was a bag of Lay's Wavy potato chips. They were the Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Popper flavor. They were ok. All I tasted was bacon. One huge negative is that the bag is only 7.5oz.
I needed to mention something else about the work food. Less than an hour before I left work, I felt pressure in my large intestine. At the 30min mark, I was debating whether I should take a dump before I left because I would be making a bunch of stops. I decided to wait. I recall having some discomfort while driving, but don't think I had any when I was walking around. When I got home, I took a huge dump. I think I took a much smaller one a few hours later.
Fri: This was the start of my Xmas vacation. I decided to have a desert meal. Let me make a list of the stuff I had: chocolate milk(1qt) eggnog(1qt) chocolate mousse store-brand creamy honey peanut butter Benton's Fudge Mint Cookies Benton's Fudge Marshmallow Cookies Benton's Peanut Butter Filled Cookies
I got the cookies at ALDI. I got the mousse in the deli section of a grocery store. I had the pb cookies in the fridge before I had them. I had the mint cookies in the freezer before I had them. Everything was good. The mint cookies tasted exactly like the Girl Scout ones.
I didn't finish anything since I was stuffed. I've noticed before, even if I didn't post it here, that sweet stuff fills me up more than regular food. This food also made me really gassy, mostly burping. When I was putting the leftovers away, I did a big burp and felt a bit better.
Also, the food gave my really bad heartburn. That and the gas made me feel real crappy on Sat night/Sun morning. It could also have been from the sugar overload. I think I finally felt better Sun night.
Sat: I just finished the leftover stuff from the "Fri" meal. It was all good. I kept all the cookies in the fridge. I actually ate around 9am Sun.
Sun: I had 2 of the olives and they were ok. I was having hunger pains, so I had a bag of Peeled Snacks Peas Please pea puffs. They were the Southwest Spice flavor. They were good.
I will be having my meal in a while. It is something I made when I was living with my parents, but not at my house. I will try adding a new ingredient this time. I will give a full report next week.
I wanted to mention the gov shutdown. It started at the Fri/Sat midnight. The news says the House and Senate won't be back until Thu. Some news dude said they would adjourn at 315pm. That doesn't make sense. When this shutdown stuff is going on, they usually stay late into the night. I wonder if he meant they would start at 315. Either way, it looks like I will get Wed off. This means I get an extra day off. I think for Tue, I will have the meal I planned for Sat.
I was going to mention something else, but I' leave that for next week.
It is now 348am Mon. I'll be back in a bit.

On Thu, I visited most of the pawn shops I visit on my big Spring trip.
The first place was Alpha pawn. There were a few things there that were there previously: Rocktron wah Line 6 preamp Ovation electric
There were also some in the maybe category: LTD strat Squire strat Washburn HSS 24f superstrat Ibanez woodgrain finish with hartail and 24f 2x BC Rich(prob from starter packs)
There were more guitars Drive strat Epiphone LP Special II with Monster Energy graphics. Squire tele made in China for $299. There was also a Dean lp style guitar with 2 knobs. I looked online, and it might be called Singlecut or Single Cut.
For kb, there were 2 Casio and 2 Yamaha.
For amps, there was a Behringer bass amp. The one thing of note was that the graphics say "Bass Workstation". I don't know what that is supposed to mean.
The next place was the "tornado" Cash America.
On one shelf inside the door, there was a Kawai MP10 digital piano for $999. It was plugged into a $40 Hartke bass amp. On the other side, there was a Boss Metal Zone for $49. There was also a headphone amp for $99. I looked it up, and was a brand called Superlux. I think the model was HA3D. This is not a box where you plug an instrument into this; it's for production applications. I actually saw these 2 items when I was leaving.
I'll leave it at that for now. I'll try to be back tomorrow.
I guess I should say Merry Christmas because it is almost 12/25 in NZ and AUS.

I'm back. I last left off with the "tornado" CA, so I'll pick up there.
I saw what was behind the counter. There was a Dean v. There was a Harmony strat. There was a Jim Root signature Squier tele. There was also a Washburn which I think was a PXL 10WA. If it wasn't that model, it was still thin as fuck for that body shape. The last guitar I listed was a Heartfield Talon for $250. I think it was a HSS. I think here is a picture with the same color: images.reverb.com/image/upload/s--Hdec8AGj--/a_exif,c_limit,e_unsharp_mask:80,f_auto,fl_progressive,g_south,h_620,q_90,w_620/v1420325186/zttgnngsdr91qsgpzkq7.jpg
I then went over to the main area. There was a Casio dig piano, and some other Casio keyboards. There was also an Akai controller kb. I only mentioned 2 guitars in my notes. There was a guitar with Pabst Blue Ribbon graphics by artist Josh Holland. It looked different than what I see online. There was also one with a Miller Lite graphic; I think like this: cdn1.mecum.com/auctions/gf0415/gf0415-217439/images/gf0415-217439_1@2x.jpg?1426794013000
While these guitars are playable, they are meant to be hung on the wall.
For amps, there was some model of Fender tweed. I don't think there was a tag, and I didn't try to get a good look at the control panel. There was a Fender Rumble 75 bass amp. There was a large Rouge bass amp for $139. There was a Crate amp for $249. I think it was a Vintage Club 50. There was also a Lab L5 for $299.
Next was the strip club pawn shop. Again, there was a lot of stuff there from my previous trip: Marshall Woburn Peavey Century Peavey PA-400 Kramer guitar(probably) Epi LP Jr Line 6 Uber Metal Digitech Element GK Backline 250 head with matching 410 cab LTD F10 LTD bluish green finish Samick LP bolt-on neck $149
There were some other items that I think were there before, but not sure: Casiaha Ampeg bass head(maybe a B500DR) Marshall DSL40C BOSS ME-80
There were a few things new this time. There was an Epi SG Jr. There was a Jackson Rhoades hardtail with 24f. There were 2 Peavey modeling amps. Then again, one or both might have been repeats that I didn't notate. There was also a Marshall GV-2 Guv'nor Plus pedal. There was also a Zoom G1Xon multifx pedal with the box for maybe $69.
I then went to Claycomo to check out the pawn shop there. When I pulled in, I saw the sign said it was a CBD shop. I went in and asked the ladies there if the pawn shop moved. They said it went out of business.
That was it for my Fri trip.
I was maybe going to start typing about my Fri trip, but around 7am, the power was flicking on and off, so I called the power co. It's also getting late, 820am. I want to see if I can take a dump, then have my "Mon" meal.
I'll try posting tomorrow.

I am back. On Fri, I visited some places north of the river that are usually out of the way.
The first place was the Riverside pawn shop. I usually visit it when I do my big trip. I didn't do it the day before, because I didn't want to spend the time driving back and forth down the road, even though it doesn't really take that long. I was just in a hurry, partially due to my intestinal discomfort.
When I went inside, I noticed there were glass cases running along all 3 sides, with guns on the walls behind them. There was just a tiny bit of wall for guitars now. The 2 badly customized guitars were still there, as were the Peavey Raptor and AXL strat. There were some other strat copies that I didn't notate. There might have been a guitar with the same sss pickup configuration as a strat, but not that type of body. There was also an Epiphone lp, and Goth SG. There was also a Washburn that was maybe this model: i.ebayimg.com/images/i/302026841671-0-1/s-l1000.jpg
There might have been some tiny practice amps I didn't notate. I did notate a Crate acoustic combo. There was also a GK Backline. My notes say 250, but I don't remember if that was the price or part of the model name.
Another major thing was that the cat thrift store was gone. Also, the Man Cave store might be also.
next was the fancy guitar store in Parkville. They told me last time they were moving to a building on the other side of the railroad tracks. I had a bit of a problem finding it. The space for electric guitars, amps, and effects was WAY smaller. There were no interesting guitars or effects. I only notated 4 amps. There was a Peavey TKO that was turned around for some reason. There was a really old Univox amp, I think like this: www.vintageunivox.com/pics/amps/60samp.jpg
There was also a Mesa/Boogie head; I think it was an M9 Carbine for bass. There was also an Ibanez head; I think it was a TB100H. There was also a Roland keyboard amp, but I didn't look at it since it was part of their current KC series.
I then was going to visit the music store called KC Music. I was going to take a back way in to avoid traffic. When I got to the thrift outlet building, I saw the route was tore up due to construction. I think they are extending a street out to a road. I turned around and took that street, and cut through the grocery store parking lot. I got to the music store. I went to open the door and it was locked. According to the sign, it was still operating hours. I do know that the owner sometimes closes up early.
The last place I visited was Guitar Center. I first went over to the used guitars and amps. The Kustom was still there. There was a head from some company called Diamond for $319. After looking online, I think the model is Assassin. There was also a Carvin MTS 3200 head for $309. My notes listed it as MTS 200, but I checked the GC site. For guitars, the only one I noted was a Kauer Crusader 7. It was over $1300. The only reason I noticed it was that some other guy there had an employee take it off the wall.
It was getting late, and I needed to stop at the grocery store before I went home, so my mind wasn't at 100%. There were more used effects than the ones I notated: BBE Crusher(maybe $34) BOSS ME-80 BOSS GT-1 Line 6 HX Stomp Ernie Ball Ambient Delay Ernie Ball Expression Overdrive.
That's all from Fri. I might post something else a little later, or just pretype it for another day.

It is after 4am, thus mega super late! I got my reading over after 3am, then was watching a YT vid of Grover(Sesame St) supposedly saying fuck. I then was watching the famous lady vs train vid, and trying to slow it down.
I'll just get to the food.
Sun: I was feeling hungry, so I had a can of Vienna sausages. They were good I don't recall if I had them in the fridge.
My meal was the chicken nuggets with cheese. Burger King is/was doing the 10 nuggets for $1 promotion. I got 40. I rubbed some canola oil on the sheet before putting the nuggets down. After the nuggets, I used a new ingredient. It was a jar of Ragu Quick Pizza Sauce. The variety was Traditional, but there were no other varieties at the store. It was 14oz. I then put down 2 8oz bricks of cheese that I cut up beforehand. It was actually a few hours before, so the cheese got soft. I also took out the nuggets then. I then put down some diced onion. Finally was peperoni. I used a 7oz package. That was A LOT. If I had known how much that was, I would have put down a layer before the cheese, and of course after.
I then put it in the over for 10 min, preheated to 410F. When I opened the oven, I saw some of the cheese had slid off the nuggets. I used a wooden kitchen thingy to push the cheese away from the edge of the sheet. A bunch of grease had also cooked out. I turned the sheet 180, and left it in for 5 min. When I opened the oven, I saw a tiny bit of cheese had fallen off the sheet. I decided it was done, so I took the sheet out of the oven to cool off.
It was good. I think I was able to taste the sauce. The only negative was that the cheese cooled off and firmed up. I don't think I was stuffed. I think I did feel that way after I drank a bunch of water afterward.
Speaking of water, I put some in the sauce jar and drank it with my meal. Since I could still taste the sauce, I've been doing it for a few days.
Mon: This was a meal I had last year. Let me just list the components first, then talk after: Boursin Gournay cheese, Garlic & Fine Herbs variety President camembert cheese hummus variety pack from ALDI: roasted red pepper, cilantro jalapeno, classic(plain), roasted garlic 2 bags of pita bread from ALDI, 5 pitas(loaves?) per bag coldcuts, ~1/3lb each: peppered turkey, garlic roast beef, turkey pastrami
I used the pita to put the hummus and cheeses on. The Gournay cheese was good. The camembert was ok. It didn't have as much flavor as the brie I had last year, and that includes the rind. The hummus was good. The garlic roast beef didn't have a garlic taste, or really any other taste. The other 2 were good.
I finished everything except 1 pita and a small bit of another since there was nothing left to put on them. I was stuffed.
I'll do this meal next year, but I'll go back to the brie. I might just get one container of a single variety of hummus
Tue: This was my snack meal. I was going to have it Sat, but I was too stuffed from the Fri meal. I wouldn't have had it if the gov hadn't shut down. Let me put this in list form also: Buddig Chicken, 2x 2oz: good Monterey Jack cheese, 8oz: ok Muenster cheese, 8oz: ok Chicken in a Biskit: good TGI Friday's Onion Rings snack, 13oz bag: good store-branch ranch tortilla chips: I didn't think these were good because there wasn't a lot of flavor. I don't know if they were old, or they put less flavoring on them than they used to. When I had them in 2017, I said they were good.
I finished everything except the bag of ranch chips.
Wed: Since I was going to bed a lot earlier, I still felt a bit full when it was time to eat. I had some of the blue cheese stuffed olives. They were good. I had a can of Vienna sausages that I took out of the fridge. They were good. I also finished the bag of ranch chips.
Thu: By the time I went shopping, I was hungry. In the hot section of a grocery store, They had Italian sausage pieces with onions, peppers, and tiny potatoes. I asked the worker for a medium styrofoam "cup" of this. She told me I could get more for the same price if I got the "meal", so I did. It came with a roll. That was ok. They didn't supply any butter/margarine, and I don't have any. The sausage and veggies were good, even though the sausage was a bit hard and dry. That was probably due to being overcooked and/or sitting out for a long time.
My meal was 2 orders of onion rings and 4 French dip sandwiches from Arby's. They were all good. Concerning the beef juice, I have to mention 2 things. First, when I am done with a sandwich, I will pour the rest of the juice in the container in the next one. Second, I usually quickly dip the bite area in the juice, but sometimes, I like to let it soak for a while. This time, I didn't do any soaking for the first 3 sandwiches. When I saw there was enough juice, I soaked all the bites for the last sandwich.
I'll be doing this as long as the promotion lasts because they only do it once a year. They do the fish and gyro ones more often, so I don't go every week. I'm thinking it will soon be over, especially since they brought back the fish sandwiches, even though there's no deal on them.
Fri: I'll do this by listing each item in its own paragraph. I did finish everything.
A can of generic brand beans. They were Creole Style Red Beans. They were good.
A 12oz bag of TGI Friday's Party Bites. They were the Buffalo Ranch variety. They were good. I think there was some buffalo taste, but no heat. These fall under the category of liking them for the taste and not for accuracy.
An 8oz container of ALDI parmesan/romano cheese. It wasn't that good. There's something I need to explain that I didn't last year when I did this. If I have a container in the fridge that is open, I will sometimes put a bit in my mouth, and it tastes good. For some reason when I try to eat it like I did Fri, it doesn't taste good. I opened the container and put it in the fridge maybe a week before I ate it. I was using a spoon to get it out of the container. I don't know if I'm taking too much at once and/or just eating a lot of it like I did doesn't taste good.
A 32oz Klement's summer sausage, Garlic variety. It was good, but I was getting tired of it. It is one of those items that only tastes good if you have a litte bit; I guess like the parmesan cheese above. I think I noticed that when I had another(but I think smaller) one last year even though I didn't post it. I think last year, I was also thinking maybe it would be better if it didn't warm up. This time, I made some ice in advance. When It was time for me to eat, I put the ice in my small casserole dish. I then cut the sausage into 4 pieces and put it in the ice. That kept it cold.
When I was eating, I would tip up the dish and drink the water from the melted ice. Later in the meal, I would take a cube or 2 and put it in the Ragu jar and add more water. When I was done eating, I filled up the jar with most of the ice cubes and put it in the fridge. I left the rest in the dish and put it in the fridge. When I checked at 10 pm, there was still a lot of unmelted ice. It did melt enough that I was able to fit the rest of the cubes except one(which I put in my mouth) in the jar.
Well that's it for this week. My "Sat", "Sun", and "Mon" meals will all be special due to it being New Year's Eve. I think Tue will be a leftover day. I don't know what I will be doing the following days. I don't know if the Arby's deal will still be going on. I have Subway coupons that expire on Fri or Sat. And I don't know when I will go back to work.
I think I am getting a sensation in my stomach now that will eventually turn into hunger pains. Also, I think I may have a dump ready. One part of my meal will take 1hr to cook, and that's after the water starts boiling.
It is now 1003am. I have been pretyping something the past few days. I will work on that while I'm waiting on my food. If I don't post what I have a little later, I will do so relatively soon. See you then.

Hello. I'm starting to pre-type this between shopping trips on 12/27. I won't be able to get much before I take off again.
On Mon, I visited the pawn shops that I do on my big trip. I got a late start, which I'll discuss in my food thread. Let's go.
The first stop was the Raytown Cash America. For stuff that was there previously: Ensoniq KS-32 Roland EM-15 Akai MPC Renaissance(in the glass case) Maestro lp special Peavey Renown
I also notated a Peavey KB 2, which might have been there last time. There was also a model of Transtube last time. It might have still been there, but I didn't notate it.
This time, there were 4 Squiers, the same as last time, but there's no easy way to tell if they're the same.
There was a mystery guitar with single coil pickups in the bridge and neck positions. It had a slightly small body. It also had either 2 or 4 big clunky rocker switches. I don't know if I saw this one before.
There were 2 First Act guitars with the 222 designation. I think these are the models: images.reverb.com/image/upload/s--3DwgCTn2--/f_auto,t_large/v1533400124/uvrstg06yty4nnhgdaxm.jpg sgws3productimages.azureedge.net/sgwproductimages/images/106/9-21-2018/85063821124511yN.JPG I posted a 222 last time; I'm thinking the 2nd one.
There was a Washburn guitar like the one in riverside, but this one had a graphic of a bunch of skulls
There was a Yamaha kb.
There was a Rocktron head.
I guess I should mention the glass case. There were quite a few rack and/or desktop units. The only 2 I noted were an Alesis Microverb and something from Focusrite.
I then went to the counter to see what was on the wall. There was a lefty Epi lp that may have been there before. There was a regular Epi lp. There was also an Epi sg special, but I don't know if that was one of the two I saw before. There was a Schecter7-string. There was a Dean guitar with an HH pu config and a hardtail. There was a lefty Mexican Fender Strat. There was also a BC Rich Mockingbird. I think it was a cheaper model because it had a whammy bar.
I then went to the hole in the wall pawn shop. There was some stuff there from before: autoharp Electro Harmonix footswitch Michael Kelly lp
There was a Marshall MG100HDFX head. That might have been the same one there before. There was a fender speaker cabinet. It had 4 speakers, I think they were 12in, making it for a guitar. There was a Vox combo for $199.
For guitars, there was an Epi lp with p-90 pickups. There was a Squier strat and another with an HH config. There was an Ibanez with HH config and 22f. There was also an Ibanez GiO with a small body, probably a Mikro.
For guns, there was a Ruger Mini-14.
I would be remiss to not mention something else. From my holiday eating, I wasn't feeling very good. I was a bit sluggish. A worker asked me if I was interested in anything, and I said I was just looking. She then talked to an old employee. He then came over to "babysit" me. I didn't like that. I left soon after. Since they have cameras in the parking lot, I didn't even make my notes there. I drove to where there was a parking lot for a long-gone building and parked and wrote my notes.
My next stop was supposed to be Alpha Pawn. When I got there, there was a sign saying they closed at 2pm. I was either 32 or 48min late.
After spending too much time in a futile search for something at a grocery store, I went to Guitar Center. I had to take a piss, so I went to the restroom first. I passed the acoustic room. I quickly checked out the drum room. I then went past the bass room and the new guitars, and went to the used area.
The Ovation electric was still there. There was a Fender amp, but I don't know if it was one of the ones from last time. There was a Crate Blue Voodoo 60 watt amp. I don't recall if it was a head or combo, and I'm not checking the GC website. There was a Mesa Boogie 5:50 combo. There was a Dr. Z setup: an Antidote head for $1549, a cabinet I think was a Best Cab 2x12 for $299, and an Air Brake attenuator, didn't check the price. There were 2 Vox amps. First was one for $499. According to GC, it was aAC15C1. There was also an AC30 from 1968. They wanted $2899 for it.
I then went to look at the effects. The only new one I notated was a talk box by MXR. There was quite a few used items. There was a multi fx unit by TC Electronic. There was an Eventide Mod Factor. There was an Ibanez Tube King for $99. There was an Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi for $249, which seems WAY too much.
Then I went to the keyboard area. The Andromeda was gone. I did play around with an organ preset on a Casio Wk-6600. I saw they still had the Korg microKorg. There was also a Minilogue. There was also a Roland jd-xi.
My next stop was the Noland Rd Cash America. I noted quite a few guitars behind the counter. There were 2 Squiers. There were 4 Epiphone lp specials, one a jr, and another with p-90 pickups. There was a BC Rich, probably a starter pack Warlock. There was a Michael Kelly lp with 3 knobs. There was a Kramer with HSH pu config and 24 frets.
I then walked back toward the entrance where the glass case with the effects pedals are. There were 2 Behringers: compressor, chorus, bass synth. There was an Electro Harmonix Dr. Q. There was also a BBE Soul Vibe.
I then went over to the guitars. There were 5 Squiers, one with a HSS pu config. I also listed a Yamaha Pacifica, but that model name encompasses a wide range of guitars. There was an Abilene strat. There was also a Peavey Rotor Special for $44.
For kb, there were 3 Yamahas.
For amps, the Avatar cabs and Dr. Z combo were still there. There was also a Crate V33 head.
I then went to another pawn shop. When I got there, it was closed. There was a sign saying they closed at 3pm. I was the other amount of minutes late that I mentioned above with the Alpha Pawn listing(ie 32 for one place, 48 for the other).
I then went to the "crazy" pawn shop. There was a bunch of stuff there from last time: 2 accordions Dean Vendetta Dean Mustaine V LTD lp spec BC Rich Kerry King V(incorrectly listed as a Dean last time)
There was a Korean Fender Tele. Last time I listed a Squier tele. I don't know if they're the same guitar. There was a Jackson with a maple fretboard. That seemed familiar, but it could be the case that I'm thinking of one from somewhere else because the maple fretboard is not common for Jacksons. I also listed a lefty Ibanez, but I don't know if that is one I've seen before. There was also an Epi lp spec.
For amps, there was a Crate acoustic. There was also an SWR LA Series bass combo for $299, and a Hartke bass head.
In the case, there was a plucked dulcimer, and a DigiTech JamMan Solo XT. I think the only other effects unit was a Zoom RFX-2000.
There was nothing interesting in the gun area, except maybe the PPS 43 was still there.
My final stop was a Cash America. I first looked at the guitars behind the counter. There was a guitar from Schecter, Ibanez, and LTD, each with an HH pu config and fixed bridge. There was an LTD lp with 3 knobs. There was also an Austin strat separate from the previous mentioned guitars.
In the main area, there were strats from Mahar, Hondo, and Rogue. There was an Epi lp special and lp spec jr. There were also 2 Epi sg spec.
For kb, there was a Casio dig piano for $599. There were 3 Yamaha keyboards. There was also a Yamaha V50 synth for maybe $135. That might actually be a good price.
For amps, there was a Crate that I noted was 120watts. I don't remember if it was a head or combo. There was a tiny Tech 21 combo with a dust cover. I think they wanted something ridiculous, like $249. There were 3 Peavey combos: a KB60 keyboard amp for $199, a Bandit 112 for guitar, and a MAX 115 bass amp.
That's all for this post. I was going to start pretyping my next one, but I think I need to poop again, even though I did so about an hour ago. I also wanted to do some reading, and something else. Then I am going to eat. It is now 10am Mon 12/31.

I'm ready to go here at 12:20am. I'll just start in with the food.
Sat: My meal was 2 veggie items and a meat item.
The first item was a can of golden hominy from Great Value(Walmart brand). Here is the list of results: plain: good pepper: good garlic powder: ok chili powder: ok hot sauce: good soy sauce: just tasted soy sauce canola oil: no difference
The other item was an artichoke. It was really big. I wasn't able to fully cover it with water. Every so often, I would turn it so all the parts were in the water. Also, I couldn't put the lid on the pot. I had to take the food part of a double boiler(that I use as a shallow pot) and inverted it over the big pot. I cooked it like I do the soup, where I bring it to a boil, then let it simmer. There was a negative in that there wasn't a lot of the stuff on the leaves. Besides it just being a shitty artichoke, I have 3 ideas on what happened: 1 It was too old(I don't know if size corresponds with age). 2 I didn't cook it long enough. 3 I fucked up, and should have let the water boil the whole time. And I did make a list: plain: ok pepper: ok garlic powder: ok chili powder: ok hot sauce: just tasted hot sauce soy sauce: ok canola oil: no difference
The meat item was a box of Fisher Boy fish sticks. They were good.
Sun: This was my Asian meal, consisting of stuff from the Asian grocery store. I'll do it in list form.
The first item is Preserved Bean Curd in hot sesame oil from Double Happiness. This is from Taiwan. I think the distributor is US Trading Co. This is pickled tofu. It was good. There was some spiciness. I spread it on the next 2 items.
They are the brand name Pop-Pan. The manufacturer is The Garden Co Ltd from Hong Kong. First is Sesame Crackers. They were good. They had a different taste than American sesame products like the Sesame Oat Bran Sticks or the sesame variety of Keebler's Toasteds. Next is Curry Crackers. They were ok. There was not much flavor, and what flavor there was didn't seem like curry. I tried each variety of crackers plain. Their main function was as a delivery system for the tofu. A few crackers broke as I was spreading the tofu.
I had a bag of Potato Twists from a brand called Lonely God. The manufacturer is I Lan Foods Industrial Co Ltd from Taiwan. The distributor is Family Foods International from California. The twists were Japanese Seaweed Flavor. They were good.
I had a can of Fried Shrimp Chips from a brand called Manora. The manufacturer is Manora Food Industry Co Ltd from Thailand. They were decent. This company also makes crab chips which I'll have to try in the future.
I had a bag of Calbee Shrimp Chips. They were the Wasabi flavor. They were imported from Thailand, not made in the US plant. These were very good. There was a wasabi(probably actually horseradish) taste, but it wasn't hot. They should make these in the US plant and sell them in regular grocery stores. These are better than the regular shrimp chips. Those are made in the US, but I don't see them in grocery stores.
There was a bag that didn't have any English on it, or English stickers added on. There was a drawing of a beer mug, which I took to mean that this was meant to be eaten while drinking beer. The bag had individual packets. The snack was some kind of mix. I know there was dried chili pepper. I think there was peanuts. There might also have been deep fried peas. It was good. The bag also had a graphic indicating it was hot. There was heat, but it was a delayed reaction.
I had a package of what was called Seasoned Squid from a brand called Sunny. The manufacturer was Jack Hua Co Ltd from Thailand. The best description I could give is that it is like a sheet of jerky. It was chewy. I don't know if it is a sheet of squid, or some kind of mixture made to simulate jerky. I glanced at the ingredients and saw a type of fish listed. This could be a paste of squid and 1 or more other types of fish. The other fish could be part of a marinade used on the squid. The taste was decent.
I had a can of Milk Fish from Old Fisherman. I've had fish items from this brand before, so I didn't get any other info off the can. The fish came in tomato sauce, like big cans of sardines. It was good.
I also had a can of what was called Surmullet. There were 2 items in Western writing: Yu Ha Xiang, and Hai Bao. This fish was in some kind of oil. It was ok. It was not soft. I'm thinking it was a bit chewier than chicken. I looked at the can again, and there was more stuff in English. The manufacturer is Victex Worldwide Enterprises Ltd from Hong Kong. The fish itself is actually from China.
I finished everything except the tofu and curry crackers. I wasn't stuffed; it was getting late, and I just didn't feel like eating any more.
One reason I limit this kind of meal to once a year is cost. I think the food cost, including sales tax, was $30.87.
Mon: This was my bagel meal. I had a bag(6ct) of everything bagels from ALDI. On the first 3, I used a package of generic brand Neufchatel cheese. On the other 3, I used a package of generic brand cream cheese. They were all good. I don't think there is much difference between the 2 cheeses.
For a meat item, I had a jar of gefilte fish from Manischewitz. I just ate it out of the jar. It was good.
The next day, when I took a dump, I could've sworn it smelled like the fish. Also, the tp had poppy and sesame seeds from the bagels.
Tue: I first had a few olives.
My meal was leftovers and other stuff. The meat item was a can of Hormel Smoked Ham. It was good. I took the small piece of pita bread and put a little bit of canola oil on it. It was ok. I put the rest of the tofu on the curry crackers. Unfortunately, I knocked over the jar which had the liquid and tiny chunks of the tofu. Some of it stayed on the tv tray, but a bunch fell on the floor. It looked like barf. Before I knocked it over, I was putting this mixture on the crackers after I ran out of tofu.
I had a package of Maruchan ramen. It was the Oriental flavor. It was good.
For the "loaf" of pita bread, I first warmed it up in the microwave. I then cut it in half. I then opened up each half. I stuffed them with some cabbage and onion that I fried up. I also added some of the ramen. On the first half, I dumped in the tofu chunk/liquid mixture that didn't spill out of the jar. Both halves were ok. They might have tasted better to me if I hadn't still been pissed off over knocking over the jar.
I also had a bag of Gourmet Select funyuns. They were good. The bag was 10oz, which was a little too much. I would have had a bag of Clancy's ones instead if I had one since that is only like 6oz.
Wed: I had coupons, so I got sandwiches from Subway. They were all Footlongs on Italian(aka white) bread. I had a Tuna Salad, Steak & Egg, and Seafood Salad. I had provolone cheese, lettuce, and tomato on all of them. They were all good.
Thu: I snacked on a couple of olives. Also for a snack, I had a can of Chicken of the Sea tuna in oil. It was good.
I had my 4 French dips and 2 onion rings from Arby's. They were good. The only thing I will mention was that they were VERY stingy on the beef juice, even though they filled the dispenser before they filled my cups. I just barely had enough. I didn't even do any soaking. I'll revisit this issue next week because it relates to my "Sat" meal.
Fri: For my first snack, I got 2 things off the Taco Bell $1 menu. First was the Spicy Tostada. It was good plain and with the Diablo sauce. There were 2 things to note. First, the ingredients were not evenly distributed. Fast food places are in a hurry, so they don't always have time to be precise. Second was that since I didn't eat it right away, the tortilla got a bit soft/soggy. The other item was the Chicken Enchilada that has been advertised on tv currently. It was good plain and with the Diablo sauce.
Later I had a bag of Pop Weaver microwave popcorn. I cooked it for 1:36. There were only a few unpopped kernels. I added canola oil to it. It was good. I ate most of it with chopsticks. When the bag was getting low, I just was upending the bag in my mouth. This is because I got delayed in eating it. I started eating it when TMZ was over, or close to it.
My meal was fried rice and veggies using half a bag of frozen broccoli. I didn't put any spice.... in; I tried something else. It was a jar of ALDI turkey gravy. I put it in after the rice. I also added some water that I poured in the jar to rinse it out. What I did was add the rice. I let it cook for 4 minutes, then stirred it. I then let it cook for another 4 minutes. I then added the gravy and water. I wanted the rice to just barely get tanned instead of the burnt crunch I normally do. After I added the gravy and water, I constantly stirred it. I only did this for a few minutes before I was done. The rice/veggie mix totally absorbed the gravy, even with the extra water. As for the taste, it wasn't that bad, both plain and with my 3 items. The gravy taste wasn't that strong. I think I'll try this again, but use 2 cans of a generic brand, so there will be more there.
My meat item was a can of Beach Cliff sardines. They were the oil variety. They were good. The can was almost all sardines, and not a lot of oil.
That's it for this week. I'll be having my "Sat" meal a bit later. It is now 748am.
I just wanted to give a quick update about something else. My manager called Fri morning, and said to come to work on Mon because we've been declared "exempt". I'm guessing that means I work without pay until a certain fat orange baby stops throwing a tantrum.
I'll see you next week.

It is 440am 1/1 when I am starting to type this. I don't know yet if I'll do the whole thing before I post, or do it in parts.
On Fri, I went to the pawn shops I don't go to because they are way out of the way, which I can say is its own trip. I was going to do this even if there wasn't the Trumpdown. Since there was though, I was planning to start 90min before I would have if I had been at work. I ended up leaving only about 30min sooner, due to doing stuff like taking a dump(which is a good thing to do before going out for hours). Then some of that time was lost to traveling.
This is going to take a while, so sit back.
The first stop was the music store that is relatively close to work. I first looked at the used effects, since the case/counter is right inside the door. There were 3 Electro Harmonix: a Metal Muff, a MEL9, and a phaser(prob a Small Stone). There was a Tech 21 Sansamp Bass for $99. There was a KORG Pandora 5. There was also a BOSS multieffects unit for bass. My notes said ME-10B, but it doesn't look like that exists. I think it was a GT-10B. Regarding used guitars/amps, I either didn't notice them, remember them, or there weren't any. I then went past the $$$$ room. I remember seeing Fender guitars, and amps by Fender, Mesa Boogie, and Blackstar. There was a guy in there playing. If I had known he was a worker, I would have went inside and talked with him.
I then went to the keyboard room. The Behringer DeepMind 12 was still there. I forgot that it was there before. I turned it on and had the same problem with not seeing a way to effectively edit it. The KORG Minilouge was gone, but there was a Monologue that I didn't mess with. There was a Roland JD-Xi(incorrectly called jd-xi above). I don't know if it was there before, but just didn't post about it.
I did mess with a Clavia Nord Stage3 Compact. It has 3 functions: piano, synth, organ. I would have liked to have messed with the synth function, but I concentrated on the organ. This brings up a huge negative from me. There wasn't an obvious way to switchover to the organ section. When I eventually did, I set it to B3 mode. What I wanted to check out was the overdrive sound. The organ section has dedicated Leslie simulation controls, so there was an overdrive knob. After turning that, and messing with the drawbars, I was able to get the "grinding" sound I like. For 2 examples, check out the intros of Circle of Hands by Uriah Heep and Tend My Garden by James Gang(supposedly Joe Walsh played the organ on this song).
I just wanted to do a somewhat related rant. I've watched(well mostly listened because that's the important part) YT videos with B3(emulators) with various forms of overdrive. They almost always do the Jon Lord thing, which is different than what I'm looking for.
I then talked with the worker that was paying guitar earlier.
I then went down to Olathe. The first place I went to is the one that is primarily a gun shop. There was no musical stuff in the small pawn stuff room.
The next stop was the place I had a bit of trouble finding the previous 2 times. This time I found it right away.
First I looked at the guitars since the wall is right inside the door. There was an Epiphone sg and v. I think they wanted $599 for the v, which could be WAY too much. There was an LTD superstrat with HSS and an explorer. There was a "regular" Schecter and an 8 string. There was an Ibanez 7 string. There was also a DeArmond JetStar.
For keyboards, there was a Casio digital piano, maybe a Privia.
For amps, there was a Crate head, maybe one of the ones before. There was a Laney GC50A, which also was maybe there before. There were 2 peavey combos: a Session 400 and a Chorus 212(I don't recall if it's a Stereo or Classic).Either of those might have been there before, but I just didn't notate them. There was a Holmes Tech 75R, which apparently is a piece of crap. There was a large Marshall solid state combo. There was also a Marshall Reverb 12(model 5205) from the 80's for $349. That is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much, and to top it off, the volume knob was pretty much stuck.
The next stop was an Alpha Pawn. There was some Yamaha keyboard. There was a BOSS DS-1 for $49, the same price as a new one mail-order. For guitars, they had a Jay Turser strat. There was an Ibanez GiO strat with a HSS pu config. There were 2 LTDs: an explorer, and an M-155. There was an Epi lp with P-90 pu. There were 2 Gibson LPs: a Custom for $1399, and a Special for $699(probably the same one from last year).
I'll post what I have so far. Check back in the future for the rest of my trip.

Hello. This was one of those weeks(mostly one day) where I could post a big FUCK here. To be specific, a few minutes after 5am on Sat, the power went out. It was off until around 11:42am. That totally fucked up my schedule, which I'll elaborate on below. I started typing this after 2:30am. My brain is a bit fucked up obviously, so it took me a lot longer to get my reading done. I didn't even take my 1am nap. I watched SNL even though it was a repeat(host Steve Carrel) because there was glitching last time.
I also need to mention something. Last week, I mentioned having a can of surmullet. Apparently I didn't look at the whole can. There was more writing in English. The manufacturer is Victex Worldwide Enterprises Ltd from Hong Kong. The fish itself is actually from China. I'll add that above too.
That being said, it's time for the food.
Sat: I had Italian sausage sandwiches. I fried up a package of ALDI "hot" Italian sausages in the cast iron pan. When they were done, I threw in some pieces of onion for a few minutes. I cut up 4 green peppers and put them in my small casserole dishes. I cooked them in the microwave for either 6 or 9min. I then stirred them up and cooked them for either 3 or 6 minutes. I added canola oil. I'm kind of thinking I cooked the peppers for 9 minutes, added the canola oil, then cooked them for another 3min. Well whatever happened, I then dumped in the grease from the cast iron pan. When I was going to eat, I cooked them for another 2 or 3 min. For rolls, I bought a bag of sub rolls from Walmart. I wanted to crisp them up, so I put them in the oven which I preheated to something like 425F. I only put them in for a few minutes. They felt a bit crispy on the outside, so I took them out.
As for the taste, they were good. The rolls did seem to soften up though.
There were 6 rolls, but only 5 sausages. For the first roll, I used some roast beef. I wanted to try to make something like Italian roast beef. I was planning on adding some beef juice from Arby's on it. But like I said last week, there was barely any left. Instead, I used some brine from the olives, a few drops of soy sauce, and some artichoke water. I also added some black pepper and garlic powder. Before I put it on the roll, I microwaved the beef for maybe 40sec. Besides the beef, I also added the onion, and some green peppers. It was good.
I didn't have any snacks, since the sandwiches were enough.
I need to mention something. After I was done with my French dip sandwiches, I took the beef out of the fridge because I was doing to add the other stuff. But I didn't because I was too tired. When I went in the kitchen around 2:50pm, I saw I had left the beef out on the counter. I had taken it out around 4:40am. I immediately put he other stuff in I mentioned above, and put the container in the fridge. The beef still felt cold, even after sitting out that long. That is the primary reason I put the beef in the microwave before I used it.
Before I had my meal, I took a dump. Later that evening, after taking my shower, I had pressure in my lower intestine. I then took a non-solid dump. I could swear I smelt green peppers. Later I went back to the bathroom and made a toilet ganache. I don't know if this was caused by the beef sitting out too long.
Sun: I finished a jar of peanut butter. It was a store-brand Creamy with honey. It was good.
For my meal, I had a box of Sociables crackers. They were good.
Mon: My snack was a bag of Sun Chips. They were the Tomato, Basil & Cheese flavor. They were really good.
My meal was fried rice and veggies with half a bag of broccoli. I used artichoke water to cook the rice. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
The meat item was a can of Beach Cliff sardines. They were the mustard variety. They were good.
When I went to ALDI on Mon, I saw that their sardines went back down to $.89. I guess I'll start buying them there again.
Also, I used up the rest of the hot sauce I bought at ALDI.
Tue: I ate the last olive. It was ok. Like I said previously, I didn't taste the blue cheese that was stuffed in them. I also had 2 snacks. One was a package of Buddig Turkey. It was good. The other was a bag of TGI Friday's Jalapeno Poppers Snack Sticks. The bag also says Cheddar Cheese, although I don't think there are other varieties. These are like cheese puffs. These were really good, which was surprising due to my aversion to cheddar cheese. There was no cheese taste. I don't recall if there was a jalapeno taste, but there was some heat on my lips. Last week(1/4), Menards had the big TGI bags on sale. I picked up a bag of these. On Mon, I looked in the one cabinet, and saw this regular sized bag. That's why I decided to have these; to see how they tasted.
I also opened a new bottle of hot sauce. It is a generic brand. It has a general hot sauce taste; maybe leaning a bit toward buffalo wing sauce. I don't recall how hot it is.
My meal was fired rice and veggies using broccoli. I used artichoke water to cook the rice. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
The meat item was a can of Beach Cliff sardines. They were the oil variety. They were good.
Wed: I snacked on some store-brand bacon bits. They were good.
My meal was fried rice and veggies using half a bag of peas and carrots. I only added 2 extra things. One was some artichoke water since it wouldn't interfere tastewise with the other item. The other item was Badia curry powder. For some reason, when I don't add all my stuff, the rice doesn't brown as good. The meal was pretty good plain and with my 3 items.
The meat item was a can of Beach Cliff sardines. They were the mustard variety. They were good.
Thu: I snacked on some store-brand bacon bits. They were good. I had 2 other things to snack on. First was some small crab rangoons from the hot/deli area of a grocery store. They were good. Later I had a bag of Kettle Brand Potato Chips. They were the almond oil cooked Wood Smoked Sea Salt. They actually had a bbq taste due to the wood smoke. I think I'll try these again since I know what to expect, and say whether they are good or not.
The meal was the stuff from Arby's. It was good. Again, they were skimpy on the beef juice. There is something else I need to mention. When I come home, I put the stuff in the microwave(not turning it on at all) thinking the confined space keeps stuff warmer longer. This time when I took the bags out, they were wet on the bottom. On the glass plate thing in the microwave, there was beef juice. I checked all 4 containers, and they weren't leaking. Also, I didn't have them at an angle where it would leak out of the containers. So I don't know what happened.
Fri: I had a bag of store brand vegetable chips from the h/n/o store. They were good. I also had a can of Vienna sausages off the shelf. They were good.
I usually have a bag of Pop Weaver microwave popcorn while watching TMZ at 330am. I was running behind in my reading, so I delayed it until after 5am. I set the microwave for 1:36. When there were like 2 or 3 seconds left, The power went out. I took the bag out and added canola oil. I didn't want to eat it until the power came back on. That's what I did. Even though it was cold, it was good. There were maybe 5 or s unpopped kernels. I just ate it with my hand, not the chopsticks. Since I had to make up the time lost for reading, I didn't have a meal. I was thinking of having something else to snack on later. I ended up not doing that, and waited for the "Sat" period.
Sat: I had some sweet stuff to snack on. I had some of the chocolate covered almonds. They were good. I had a bunch of M&M's in the single serving packages. I also had a jar of store-brand creamy honey peanut butter. It was good.
For a beverage, I had some Berry Fanta. It was ok. I think it either didn't have a taste, or just tasted like raspberry.
If I had my Fri meal, I wouldn't have had the peanut butter. I thought since I had an empty stomach, that I could have it along with the other stuff, and be hungry later(aka now). I don't know if it's that deal where sweet stuff seems to be more filling, but I'm not hungry. Actually, I may be having a pre-hunger sensation now. Also, the Fanta's carbonation has filled me up. I did 2 really long farts, and some big burps. And then there's the poo. At 330am, I got up to reset the CO detector, and my tv remote fell on the floor. I went to wash it off. Then I tried to fart, and I felt wetness in my crack. I went in the bathroom and pooed out some liquid. Then at 7am, I went poo again; this time less liquidy. Then I was going to take a nap, and I could feel there was more, so I went in again. Now as I'm typing, it feels like I have more. I think I'll go after I'm done here.
If I was feeling hungry, I was going to cook something up, and have 2 other things. If I don't get hunger pains soon, I might have just those 2 other things, then have my Sun meal later. Whatever I decide, I'll report next week.
That's it for the food. A week from tomorrow is MLK day, which is a federal holiday. If we do get that off, despite the shutdown stuff, I will be having some special things Fri, Sat, and Sun, but I won't be stuffing myself like I did during Xmas/NY.
It's now 11:27am, so it's too late for me to start pretyping the rest of my trip stuff.
See you next week.

AAAAARRRRGGH! I getting yet even a later start; after 4am this time. I watched SNL. I didn't get my reading done by 1am, so I kept on doing it. At 2am, I watched Bones, and was doing it during the commercials. I dozed off, so I missed ?min of it. I then finished my reading. At 3am, I went to take a nap for about an hour, then get up to watch Washington Week in Review. Thankfully, I was able to pre-type quite a bit on Fri at work. They ran out of stuff to do. If I had known, I would have gotten some more a bit earlier, even though I wasn't done with what I had at my desk. I didn't want to do busywork or be sent home, so I didn't tell my manager. I would have typed up more, but of course, I didn't have my notes there. Likewise with my pawn shop, etc. trip.
About the reading, it takes me a long time because it became a part of my OCD. I think that happened after I had a severe allergic reaction to medication I was prescribed. One of the known bad reactions was fever. I did have that. I'm thinking it got severe enough to give me brain damage. The reading slowness has been really bad this past week.
With all that being said, it's now time for the food.
Sat: Since I got filled up from the sweet stuff I was snacking on, I didn’t want a full meal. I only had 2 things. First was a can of Hormel white and dark chicken meat. It was good. The other item was a bag of Doritos Dynamitas. They were the Chile Limon flavor. They were good, even though I had bought the bag a long time ago. They were also really hot. Another good thing about these is that there is more in a bag than the regular ones: 11.25oz vs 9.75oz.
Sun: I was peanut buttered out, so I didn’t snack on any at night. For my meal, I had half a bag of store-brand pretzels. They were good. Since I didn’t have a full Sat meal, I felt like I should have something else. I had a can of ALDI Vienna sausages, which I had put in the fridge. They were good.
Mon: I had 2 snacks. First was a Maruchan Instant Lunch. It was the Udon Style Miso Flavor. It was really good. Later I had a bag of Clancy's popcorn puffs. They were good.
My meal was fried rice and veggies, using half a bag of peas and carrots. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
My meat item was a can of Sunny Sea sardines. They are in brine. They are ok.
Tue: I first snacked on some store-brand bacon bits which were good.
My meal was fried rice and veggies, using half a bag of broccoli. The only extra things I added to the pan was the rest of the artichoke water and some curry powder. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
My meat item was a can of the Beach Cliff sardines. They were the ones with hot sauce. They were good. Also, the hot sauce was actually hot.
Wed: I got 2 things to snack on at a grocery store. I was planning to get some stuff at the deli/hot section, and check out my regular groceries. I left after I saw something unsanitary. It wasn’t from a worker, but from someone waiting to get food/check out. I instead got stuff elsewhere in the store, and checked out at a regular checkout stand. The first item was some kind of snack I got on some shelves that had Mexican snacks. The brand name was Leo. They are described on the bag as "Puffed Wheat Snacks". Here is a page with a pic: www.heb.com/product-detail/leo-original-chicharron-wheat-snacks/1884681 I think they are supposed to be an alternative to pork rinds. They were good, but I can’t describe what they taste like. Also, they were really salty. The other item was some crab/shrimp salad I got at the fish counter. It was good. Like I said another time, this salad is cheaper than the crab salad they have in the deli section.
My meat item was a can of Beach Cliff sardines. They were the ones in oil. They were good.
Thu: I had 2 snacks. First was some chicken tenders at the hot section of a grocery store. They were good. The ad said there were Tyson boneless wings for $4.99lb. I asked the worker where there were. He said they were prepackaged, and on the little shelving thing with heat lamps; where they have the rotisserie chickens. I looked at the containers, and they were all over 1lb., so I didn’t get them. The chicken tenders were $5.99 lb. The day before, I was thinking about getting potato wedges. They had them at this store, but I didn’t get any. Another store I went to before this one had stuffed green peppers, but I wanted to see what was at this store. Later I had a bag of the Mexican funyuns. They were good.
My meal was the Arby’s stuff: 4 French dip sandwiches and 2 orders of onion rings. They were good. They put in enough beef juice that I was able to soak(see last week’s entry) 2 of them.
I asked the worker If he knew when the 2/$6 promo was ending. He said 1/26, and that they were doing the 2/$5 fish sandwiches. I forgot to mention last week that I asked at that one, and they told me 1/28. That means this week will be my last French dip sandwiches until the end of this year, since that’s the only time they do it. Even though I love the fish sandwiches, I won’t be getting them every week. They usually run the promo until the end of Lent. Also, I think they do it again later in the year.
Fri: I had 2 snacks. First was a bag of store brand kettle cooked potato chips from the h/n/o store. They were Dill Pickle flavor. They were good. Later I had a bag of Pop Weaver microwave popcorn. I added canola oil after I took it out of the microwave. It was good.
My meal was 4 Banquet chicken pot pies. I had them with half a box(aka 2 of 4 packages) of saltines. The meal was good.
Sat: I finished the bacon bits. They were good. I didn't have any other snacks because my meal might be a little large.
My meal will be an experiment that is a bit like something I made 13mo ago. My "Sun" meal will be mostly stuff I've never had before.
I may start pretyping the rest of my trip, but not for as long as I had hoped. I dozed off again. When I woke up, I went into my bed to sleep. I had my alarm set, but hit the snooze button a few times.
Since I have Mon off, I'll try to get a large chunk of my remaining trip typed up overnight.
It is now 1001am. If I don't post tomorrow, I'll see you next week.

Hello. I'm starting after 2am, which is not as late as the past 2 weeks. I'll just get to the food.
Before I get to this week, I have to mention last week. I saw that I omitted the main part of Wed's meal. My meal was fried rice and veggies, using half a bag of broccoli. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
With that out of the way, let's get to the present.
Sat: I was so hungry, I had a snack right before my meal. It was a bag of Flamin Hot Cheetos. They were the Chipotle Ranch variety. They were ok. They were not hot. I was able to taste the ranch flavor. The chipotle gave a smokey flavor.
My meal was an experiment. I cooked a cup of rice. I fried up some onion until it softened and changed color a bit. I cut up a green pepper and cooked it in the microwave. Before I cooked it for the last 2 or 3 min, I mixed in some canola oil. I dumped both veggies in the pot with the rice. I cooked up a 1lb bag of shrimp in the pan. I then dumped it in the pot. Finally, I added a 32oz box of chicken broth. I then cooked this mixture on the stove until it started to boil. I then took it off the stove to cool off.
As for the taste, it was good plain. The shrimp was the dominant flavor. I recall not tasting the onion or green pepper. I also tried other stuff mixed in. The canola oil didn't change the taste. The chili powder was good. The black pepper, curry powder, garlic powder, and hot sauce were ok. I also tried soy sauce, but I forgot to notate it.
Sun: I had a snack. It was a bag of Calbee Harvest Snaps pea puffs. They were the black pepper flavor. They were good.
My meal consisted of 4 items. I'll give them their own paragraphs.
I had a bag of store-brand kettle potato chips. They were Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar flavor. They were good.
I had a can of generic brand garbanzo beans(aka chickpeas). I cooked them in the small pot on the stove. They were ok. I think they might have tasted better when they cooled off to room temp.
I had a jar of Manischewitz matzo balls. I dumped them it the pot to heat up. I ended up looking at the jar, and saw there were cooking instructions, so I ended up following them. As for the taste, it was different, but good.
The meat item was a jar of Manischewitz All Whitefish. These were like the gefilte fish, but obviously only made of whitefish. It was good. It tasted like the gefilte fish. The gefilte fish is cheaper, so I'll stick with that in the future. Both jars had the fish in jellied broth. Looking at Google, the Manischewitz company has a bunch of varieties of gefilte fish.
I actually had my meal around Noon on Mon.
Mon: Since My Sun meal was so late, I didn't feel like eating a lot. I had a package of Buddig Turkey. It was good. I also had a box of Chicken in a Biskit crackers. They were good.
Tue: My meal was fried rice and veggies, using half a bag of peas & carrots. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
My meat item was half a package of Oscar Mayer bologna. It was good plain and with mustard.
2 quick things: I used the last of the garlic powder in the fried rice and veggies. I didn't add any mustard to the pan, or the subsequent fr&v meals.
Wed: I had 2 snacks. I had a can of Vienna sausages from the fridge. It was good. I had a bag of store-brand organic potato chips from the h/n/o store. They were the Salt & Vinegar flavor. I'll rate these as not bad but not good. My problem with them was that there was barely any vinegar taste. Unfortunately, I bought a second bag because the organic chips were on sale for 4/$5 where you had to buy 4 to get the sale price.
My meal was fried rice and veggies, using half a bag of peas & carrots. The only extra things I added were curry powder and water from a mustard bottle. I think I have pretty much rinsed out any remaining mustard taste. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
My meat item was the other half of the package of Oscar Mayer bologna. It was good plain and with mustard.
Thu: I had 2 snacks. First was 2 stuffed clams. They were good. They were 2/$3, along with stuffed scallops and crabs. The last time there was this sale, the store from the grocery chain I visited only had crabs and scallops, so I picked up 1 of each. I would have gotten a clam too if they had them, and not got any on this day.
My other snack was a bag of Pajedas Onion Rings(aka Mexican funyuns). They were good.
My meal was from Arby's. It was the 2 orders of onion rings and 4 French dip sandwiches. It was all good. There was enough beef juice for me to soak the 3rd sandwich, but not the last one.
Like I said last week, this was the end of the 2/$6 promo. The 2/$5 fish sandwich promo starts today or tomorrow.
Fri: My first snack was a calzone I bought at the store the previous day. It was a 3 cheese variety. I took it out of the fridge some time earlier to start warming up. To heat it up, I put it in the oven, which I preheated to 400F, for about 12 min. It was good.
My other snack was a bag of Pop Weaver microwave popcorn. I cooked it for 1:36. When it was done, I put canola oil in the bag. It was good. There were only 5 unpopped kernels.
My meal was fried rice and veggies, using half a bag of frozen broccoli. Since I cooked the rice right before the veggies, the burner was already hot. I think this is why the rice/veggie mix got more burnt than usual. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
Sat: I snacked on sweet stuff. I finished the Berry Fanta. I finished the M&Ms. I had some mini Nestle Crunch bars. I also had some dark chocolate almonds. I didn't finish them, even though I thought I would. It was all good.
I'll have my meal later. I'll have 5 things, but probably only review 1 next week.
After I post this, I'm going to take a nap, and maybe take a dump after that. I think I'll also work on my pawn.... trip post. I didn't get to do as much of it as I wanted to last weekend.
It is now 6:18am.
I'll see you next week.

Here we are again. I guess I'll get to the food.
First, I need to mention something from last week. Before I had my snacks on Sat, I opened up a new jar of peanut butter.
Now for the current stuff.
Sat: I had 5 things, but I'll only review 1. I had a can of Ranch flavor Pringles. They were good.
Sun: I had the other half of the box of saltines. They were ok.
Mon: My snack was a bag of Sun Chips. They were the Veggie Harvest Farmhouse Ranch. I guess they were good. I'm thinking this was one of those times where the ranch taste wasn't standard. It could also be the cast that "ranch" is a catch-all term for a variety of recipes that are similar.
My meal was fried rice and veggies. Besides the cabbage and onion I always use, the veggie item was half a bag of what was called California Blend. This is composed of broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. The meal was good plain and with my 3 items.
My meat item was a can of Sunny Sea sardines. They were good.
Tue: My meal was fried rice and veggies, using the other half of the bag of California blend. The only other extra things I added to the pan was curry powder, and water from the soy sauce bottle. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
Wed: I had 2 snacks. First was a Quarter-Pound Mushroom Swiss Melt from Hardee's. It was GOOD! This was even after sitting around cooling off. The other snack was a bag of Bugles. They were the Hot & Spicy variety. They were good. The heat was cumulative; the more I ate, the hotter they got. The heat stayed around in my mouth and/or my lips. It actually annoyed me.
My meal was veggie fajitas. I used half a bag of peas & carrots. The only extra stuff I added was curry powder and water from the soy sauce bottle. There were spices in the half can of chili beans. Find another post where I mention the cooking and eating order of the tortillas. As for what I put on them while eating, I did the hot sauce only before the pepper only. They were all good.
Thu: I had 3 snacks. First was a piece of catfish from the deli/hot section of a grocery store. It was good. Later I had a bag of Pajedas onion rings. They were good. I also had a can of Hormel White & Dark Turkey. It was good. I'll discuss why I had it in a bit.
My meal was 3 sandwiches from Subway. I'll give them their own paragraphs.
First was the Veggie Patty. I guess you can call it a veggie burger sub. I had it on Italian bread. I had provolone cheese. I had lettuce and tomato. I had parmesan cheese. I wanted oil on it, but the worker accidentally used the vinaigrette. It was ok. The veggie patty itself didn't seem to offer much flavor. Thankfully, I didn't taste the vinaigrette. I don't think I'll get this again.
Next was the Seafood Salad. I had it on Italian bread. I had provolone cheese. I had lettuce and tomato. I had parmesan cheese. I can't remember if I had oil on it. It was good.
Finally was the Ultimate Meatball Marinara. Look it up on Subway's site. For veggies, I had spinach and black olives. I had them put parmesan and maybe oil on it. While It was good, I didn't seem to notice any difference between the regular Meatball Marinara; thus I wouldn't bother spending the extra money.
I took the sandwiches out of the fridge a few hours before I ate them. I wanted to heat up the UMM, but didn't want to crisp the bread. I preheated the oven to 350F. I put the UMM on a cookie sheet, and put it in the oven for 10min. When I took the sandwich out, I put the other 2 sandwiches on the hot cookie sheet to heat up a bit. The UMM did get heated up, and the other sandwiches warmed a bit.
Fri: I went to Menards for stuff on sale. One of the things was the Hormel cans of meat. That's why I had the turkey the night before. I wanted to see if I liked it before I bought more. When I got there, all the turkey and chicken was gone. There were only 2 cans of ham left. I only wanted 2 of those, but I didn't want to just get those.
One of my snacks was also part of this shopping trip. I went to the h/n/o store. In the ad, there was chicken wings/bites/tenders for $5.99lb. The ad implied they were in the deli/hot section. When I went there, there was not hot section, only meat/deli. There was chicken stuff for $4.99lb, but you had to cook it.
I then went to the nearby grocery store. I looked in the hot section, and there was this beef and noodle stuff I wanted to get. I first went to get something else. When I came back, I saw a sticker on the case for a sale on chicken strips; 8 for $5. I got the chicken strips instead. When I was at home, I didn't eat them all at once. I took 4 and heated them in the microwave for a total of 1:40 at 50% power. One or more didn't taste good plain. I think that is due to there being a fine line between reheated chicken tasting good or not. I also tried them with stuff. I used my hot sauce. I used a packet of Kikoman soy sauce. I also used a packet of mustard(the brand with a panda on it) from a Chinese restaurant. I can't remember what I thought of them. I had the other 4 later. I cooked them for 20 sec less at 50% power. I think those had a better taste plain. I also tried them with stuff. First was Burger King Honey Mustard sauce. That was ok. Second was BK Ranch sauce. That was good.
Later, after I watched TMZ, I had a bag of Pop Weaver microwave popcorn. I cooked it for the same 1:36, but it seemed on the verge of burning. I added canola oil to the bag after it was done. It was ok. I ate most of it out of the bag with chopsticks.
My meal was veggie fajitas using the other half of the bag of peas & carrots. Instead of rice, I used 2 packages of Maruchan Instant Ramen, Chicken flavor. I was debating whether to use 1 or 2 packages. I went with 2 because I thought it would be better to have too much than not enough. I cooked the cabbage, then added the onion. I then added the p&c after cooking them in the microwave. After this all cooked for a while, I took the pan off the burner to cool off, and turned the burner down to 3. I put the pan back on the burner, and put the half can of beans in, and mashed them up. I then added the water I used to rinse out the container for the beans. I then mixed everything up. I then went to do something of a minute. I then went back and stirred everything. I then added the ramen and their liquid, and mixed everything up. I kept on stirring. I also let it sit and cook for a while. I was trying to get the ramen liquid to steam off. I then turned the burner up to 5 to get the stuff hot. In then took the pan off the burner and set it in the oven to cool off. After doing stuff, I ate.
I had the tortillas in my usual order. I again changed up the condiment order: plain hot sauce hot sauce and pepper pepper plain I had a brain fart and started putting hot sauce on the 3rd one, so I did the whole thing and added the pepper. They were all good. There was a negative in that the stuff was squishing out of the tortillas, but that could have been due to me putting more stuff on each one. There was some stuff leftover, which I ate.
Besides the sardines I had, I also had something else. I cut up 3 small roma tomatoes. I tied them with the curry powder, which was ok. They were ok with the hot sauce. They were good plain and with black pepper.
Sat night, I was doing a bunch of nasty farts. When I went in to shave, I took a lighter with me. Every week, I use an electric razor. I sit on the floor in the one bedroom that has mirror closet doors. When I felt some pressure, I lit the lighter. The first time, nothing happened. The second time, I head a pop from the gas igniting, but there was no visual. Later, I had some more pressure. The first fart blew out the flame. The next one ignited, and made a small blue fireball. The last one made a tiny flash and a pop. Unfortunately, that one lit in my crack and stung for a few seconds.
Sat: I snacked on some sweet stuff. I finally finished the dark chocolate covered almonds. They were good. I finished one bag and started another of Nestle Crunch bars. They were good. I opened a bag of pistachios I got at ALDI. They were good. They were on sale; a 1lb bag for $5.99. That might have been the same price as the h/n/o store sale. I think I finished over half the bag. I also had a beverage. It was a bottle of Calypso lemonade. It was the Ocean Blue with blueberries. It was good.
A while after eating, I had to go take a large dump. I don't know whether it was from the gas, the pistachios, or a combination of both. Unfortunately, I have more poo, which I'll have to release after posting this.
That's all for this week. I'll have my meal in a bit. I'll have 5 things, but I'll only review 1 or 2.
It is now 1147am. I wasn't diligent in getting my reading done while SNL was on since it was a repeat. I got done after 1am, then took my pre-Bones nap. Between 430 and 5am, I was a bit out of it, but don't recall dozing off. I then took that dump. I then went to work and did a couple things. I then went to the West Bottoms and drove around for a bit, and was contemplating purposely getting on the Virtual Railfan cameras(I did incidentally, but put off looking, and when I remembered, it was too late). I don't recall if I dozed off when I got home. I took a shortened pre Meet The Press nap. I also took that planned dump sooner than I wanted because I couldn't stand it anymore.
I was planning on doing more pretyping of my pawn.... trip, but it's too late to start on that.
I'll see you next week.

It's after 2am, and Bones is on. I guess I'll just get to the food.
Sat: Like I said last week, I had 5 items, but will only review 2.
I cut up the rest of the tomatoes, and mixed them with canola oil and pepper. They were good.
My meat item was a can of Deutsche Küche Herring Fillets in Mango Pepper Sauce. They were good.
Sun: I finished up a store brand jar of creamy honey peanut butter. It was good.
My meal was half a bag of store-brand pretzels. They were good. Apparently, they don't make these anymore. This was the last(or second to last) bag I had.
Mon: I had 3 items to snack on. First was a Maruchan Yakisoba. It was the Korean BBQ flavor. It was ok. I'm thinking I was expecting for this to have a stronger flavor. I had the 2 other items later. One was a can of Vienna sausages I had put in the fridge. They were good. The other item was a bag of Clancy's cheese curls(aka cheetos). They were Cheddar Jalapeno flavor. I didn't make any notes about these, but should have. I can't remember if there was any heat. I'm thinking they were ok, and I probably wouldn't get them again.
My meal was fried rice and veggies, using half a bag of peas & carrots. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
My meat item was half a package of Oscar Mayer cotto salami. I had it bot plain and with mustard. It didn't seem to taste as good as when I've had it before.
Tue: For snacks, I opened up a box of plain shredded wheat from ALDI. I had it both plain and with canola oil. It was good. I also opened up the other Klements summer sausage that I had. It is the Original variety. It was good.
Both the meal and meat item were the same as Mon.
Wed: For snacks, First I had 2 things I got at Hardees. The first item was a slider that I got because they're on sale for $1 from 2-5pm. It was really good even though it had cheese on it The other item was a Quarter-Pound Mushroom Swiss Melt. I got this because I loved the one I had the previous week. Unfortunately, it didn't taste as good as the previous one.
Later I had a bag of Good Sense Oat Bran Sesame Sticks. They were good. Much later, I had some shredded wheat, with and without canola oil. Even later, I had some summer sausage. It was good.
My meal was fried rice and veggies, using half a bag of peas & carrots. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
The meat item was the last can of Beach Cliff sardines. They were in oil. They were good.
Thu: For a snack, I had some shredded wheat with and without canola oil. It was good. I can't remember if I had this soon after I got home, or right before my meal; or maybe it was both times. I had a package of Buddig Pastrami. It was good, even though It doesn't actually taste like pastrami. I also had a bag of store-brand kettle potato chips from the h/n/o store. They were the Olive Oil variety. I don't know if this means they are cooked in olive oil, or are sprayed with some after they are cooked. Either way, there was no different flavor; if I didn't know different, I would have thought they were plain. If thought of as just regular kettle chips, they are good. If you were looking for some other taste, I would say pass on these.
For my meal, it was chicken night. I got stuff from both KFC and Church's.
KFC has a 2/$3 promotion for its Chicken Littles sandwiches. There are 4 types, so I got one of each. I'll present them in list form, in order of eating them. BBQ: This was good; I think actually the best of the 4. I'll talk some more below. Georgia Gold: This was good. It seemed to have a taste of mustard. plain(I don't know what it's called): It was ok. I maybe would have tasted better if I ate it when it was warm. Nashville Hot: It was ok. There was some delayed heat.
I've mentioned before that I'm not a BBQ person. Since KC is famous for it, I guess that could be considered sacrilege. I was surprised that the BBQ version was the best of the 4. I guess also liking non-traditional BBQ stuff(which would include the McRib) could also be considered sacrilege.
Church's is doing a promo with their new Buttermilk Ranch Mega Bites, where you can get 5 with a biscuit and fries(or other side) for $3. I got 2 orders, with one of the sides being Corn Nuggets. I'll do the reviews in list form. Biscuits: They were dry, but that could be due to me eating long after I got them. Thankfully, when I was at KFC, I got a packet of Honey Sauce, which looks to be corn syrup with a drop of real honey for flavor. I put this on both biscuits to make them not as dry. If I had known there were biscuits included, and they would be dry, I would have instead got a packet of some kind of butter type of stuff they(KFC) had. Fries: They were ok. Corn Nuggets: These were ok. BRMB: These were ok. I think they would have been better if they were warm.
Maybe I'll get one order as a snack, and eat it a lot sooner, so it won't be cold, and see if the stuff tastes better. After I picked up my food, I went to H&R Block and got my taxes done, so the food was in the cold car for quite a while.
Fri: The first snack I had was the rest of the shredded wheat with canola oil. It was good. Later I had this stuffed chicken thing from Milford Valley called Chicken With Broccoli & Cheese. It came in a package like a frozen burrito. Unfortunately, unlike a frozen burrito, you have to bake it in the oven, which seems like a waste of energy to cook something so small. As for the taste, it was really good. Here is a pic of the finished product: www.milfordvalleyfarmschicken.com/js/img/homepage-image-slider-broc-cheese.jpg This, and at least 2 other varieties, were on sale for $1 each. I got 2 other varieties that I've yet to try. Just going by the one I had, I could see myself getting a bunch of these and making them all at once for a meal. Later I had a bag of Clancy's hot funyuns. They were good. They were hot, but it was cumulative. When watching the late repeat of TMZ, I had my bag of Pop Weaver microwave popcorn. I cooked it for 1:36, and added canola oil when it was done. It was good. I don't think there were that many unpopped kernels. While I was cooking my meal, I ate the shredded wheat crumbs with canola oil. Right before I ate, I had some summer sausage.
My meal was fried rice and veggies using half a bag of peas & carrots. I only added 2 things to the pan. The first was the ALDI equivalent of the Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle variety. I tried some by itself, and it had a chipotle taste, and some heat. I added some after I added the p&c to the pan, and after I added the rice. When I did the second time, I also added 1/3 cup of water. For some reason, the browning burning isn't as good as when I add everything. As for the taste, it was good, even though the md taste wasn't strong. I had it plain and with my 3 items. I also used the md which was ok. If I had been thinking, I should have added some md to the water when I cooked the rice.
Sat: When I first started pretyping this, I had sweet stuff as a snack. I finished the pistachios. I also finished the mini Nestle Crunch bars. I also ate a whole bag of "fun size" peanut M&M's. They were all good.
I will have my meal in a while. I will be having 3 things. I will review all 3. At least 2 of them will be new.
All this pistachios and peanuts seemed to have activated my colon, so I need to go off and take a dump.
I thought I would get to work on my trip post, but it's getting late. It is 1023am.
Next week, I think I'll be a day late, since I'll be doing stuff on Sat. It is Presidents Day weekend, so I have Mon off, and I'll be doing some special meals.
See you next week.

Hello. I'm pretyping this at the dealership where I bought my car, to get my oil changed, and everything looked over. I found out I already have to spend $119 to have my alignment done. The computers here have really tight security, so I can't use my emails, but I can PM myself, so there you go.
I'm back at home, but it is SUPER MEGA FUCKING LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is 3:45am!!!!! After getting my car fixed, I went to a lot of places(for a different post), did a fuckton of snacking(see later), did stuff at my parents house, and did some stuff at home. I was going to watch SNL, but fell asleep during or after Don Cheadle's monologue. I finally became coherently awake after 11:30. I then tried to finish my reading for the day, but fell asleep again. I woke up at 2:37am, so I didn't watch Bones since it was more than halfway over. I then finished the Sat reading and almost all for Sun morn. I still have to do my "Fri" reading, which I'll save for Mon morning
Now it's time for the food.
Before I get to this week, I have to mention 2 things from last week. The plain Chicken Little sandwich from KFC is called Extra Crispy. On Wed(2/6), when I was at the grocery store, I got 10 chicken nuggets in the hot/deli section. They were $5.99/lb, which is a normal sale price for the tenders or wings. They cost maybe $2.24. I had them as a driving snack. They didn't seem very meaty, if that makes sense. They were ok. I would rate them higher if they were doing the special where they were $.10 each.
Now back to the present.
Sat: The main thing I had was a can of Deutsche Kuche Hearty Pea Soup from ALDI. It was really good. It is a split pea soup with whole peas, carrots, potatoes, onion, and leek. My parents make split pea soup, but the only veggie they add is some onion. They also use one or more ham bones, so there are nasty pieces of ham(ham itself is good, these pieces are more fat, gristle, etc) swimming around in it.
The meat item was a jar of Tonnino Tuna Filets with Jalapeno in Olive Oil. It was good. I don't there was any heat, but I actually think that's a good thing. I forget if the jalapeno pieces had any taste, or were overwhelmed by the oil. I got these at Walmart on the clearance rack. I also got another meat seafood item, but I need to figure out what I want to do with it.
I also had a bag of Doritos. They were the Blaze variety. I think I detected chipotle flavor, but my notes say I said these were good. There was a good amount heat. I would drink water of eat soup to dissipate it. I'm guessing the heat would also be cumulative, but I don't know how much since I wasn't eating them by themselves. I could've sworn I've had them before, but there was no review of them.
Sun: I opened up a new jar of peanut butter. I finished a box of cereal. It was the Millville Fruit & Nut Granola from ALDI. It was good.
My meal was a box of Triscuits. They were the Four Cheese & Herb flavor. I didn't notate a review, but I'm thinking they weren't that great.
Mon: When I got home from work, I ate a bunch of summer sausage. If I had shredded wheat, I probably would have had those instead. I think I had some ss when I was cooking my meal too. Later I had a can of Vienna sausages. They were good. I put them in the fridge beforehand. While the sausages themselves were cold, the liquid didn't gooify at all. I thought there was sufficient time for that to happen though. I also had a bag of Clancy's popcorn puffs. They were good. I'm pretty sure I didn't have these 2 things at the same time.
My meal was fried rice and veggies using half a bag of peas & carrots. I did the same thing last week where I only used the ALDI chipotle mrs dash. I did 2 things different this time. First, I added the mrs dash to the water for cooking the rice. I tried some of the rice, but I don't recall what I thought of it. Second, I added 1/3 cup of water to the pan the first time I added the mrs dash. It was good plain and with my 3 items. I can't remember if I used the mrs dash with my meal. I also don't remember how the browning turned out.
Tue: For a snack, I had a bag of TGI Friday's Potato Skins chips. They were the Cheddar & Bacon flavor. They were good. I think only the first chip had a bacon taste. There was no cheese taste, which was a plus. I had summer sausage while cooking my meal.
My meal was fried rice and veggies using half a bag of peas & carrots. I went back to putting all the spices.... in the pan. In doing so, I used up the rest of the hot sauce. The meal was good plain. I also used the pepper and soy sauce, which were good. I also used the mrs dash, which was good.
Wed: I had summer sausage while cooking my meal.
My meal was fried rice and veggies using half a bag of peas & carrots. The meal was good plain. I also used the pepper and soy sauce, which were good. I also used the mrs dash, which was good.
Thu: I had a bunch of stuff to snack on. First I had a package of Maruchan Instant Ramen. It was the Chicken Mushroom flavor. It was good, even though I didn't seem to taste any mushroom. Later I had 3 things. I had a bag of Clany's funyuns. They were good. I had a can of Brookdale Vienna sausages. They were good. I took them out of the fridge. The liquid was quite gooified. I also had one of the Baybel mini cheese things. I got that at work because they were having a snacks for Valentine's Day. It didn't seem to have any taste. I don't know if that was because it was sitting out all day. I did put it into the fridge when I got home from work. I also had summer sausage while I was cooking my meal.
My meal was fried rice and veggies using half a bag of broccoli that has been in the freezer for a while. The meal was good plain. I also used the pepper and soy sauce, which were good. I also used the mrs dash, which was good.
Fri: When I was at the grocery store, I picked up 2 things to snack on. The first was some kind of beef stew. It had some more types of veggies than the traditional potatoes and carrots of the traditional beef stew. It was good. The second was what they described as "chicken pot pie without the crust". While it was good, it wasn't as good as the beef stew. Later, I had a bag of veggie straws from they h/n/o store. They were good. I also had some summer sausage while making my meal.
My meal was a frozen Tony's pizza. It was the Meat-Trio with Pizzeria Crust. When I put the pizza in the oven, I used the microwave's timer function and set it to 19min. I was doing stuff. I eventually got up since I thought it would soon be done. I looked at the microwave, and it said 2:03. I thought to myself "only 2 min left". I looked back a tad bit later and it said 2:04. For a few seconds, I was like "wtf", but then I realized the timer was done. I quickly took the pizza out of the oven. Instead of being nice and gooey, the cheese became one beige mass. This wasn't new to me since my mom liked to overcook pizzas. Even with the cheese, the pizza wasn't bad. I did have something to put on the pizza. At the VD part I mentioned for Thu, there was some Papa John's pizza. I didn't get any, but I did get one of the containers of garlic sauce. While it was good with the pizza dipped in it, it was not mind blowingly so, as others on the internet think.
Sat: While I did a bunch of snacking, I'll only mention a few things. At Arby's, I got a Mint Chocolate shake. On the menu board, there is only one price. When I ordered, the worker asked what size I wanted(s/m/l). I got a small. It was cheaper than the price on the board, so I'm thinking that's the medium price. It was good. The only negative was that it seemed too runny at the end. It's only a few minutes from Arby's o my parent's house. When I got there, I put it in the freezer for a bit before I ate it.
Before I got home, I stopped at Walmart. I got 2 things from the deli/hot section. One was 6 jalapeno poppers. They were good. I also had 8 mozzarella sticks. They were pretty good, even though they would be better hot.
I also had a slice of summer sausage a few hours ago.
That's finally it. For my "Sat" meal, I will be cooking something completely new, and putting some things together that I haven't before. My Sun meal will also be some new things.
I'll also be doing a pair of major experiments this week, and trying a new item.
I'll probably snack on the summer sausage when I'm cooking. Even if I don't, it will be finished this week.
I got a new bottle of hot sauce at Walmart. I think I'll try using it with my Sat meal.
It looks like I won't get to work or pretyping the rest of my Xmas/NYE trips post since it is 1021am. I fell asleep a few more times, and took an actual nap. I'll see if I get any time tomorrow, but that depends how long my Fri reading takes.
See you next week.

It's that time again. I'm starting at 2am. I would have started earlier, but I wasn't feeling like it. I'll get into that a bit later. I wish I had started earlier, since I do have a bit more for this week.
That being said, it's time for the food.
Sat: I did finish the rest of the summer sausage. It was good.
I opened a new bottle of hot sauce that I bought at Walmart. It is Bufalo Salsa Picante Classica. It is made by Mega Mex Foods, whose main brand is Herdez. The sauce has some heat. It has a different flavor than what I'm used to.
For my meal, I'm pretty sure I tried my 3 items, plus chili powder and curry powder during the meal. I don't about canola oil. I know I didn't use mustard.
The meat item was a bag of Aquastar Seafood Medley. The bag says "calamari, mussels, octopus, and shrimp". There was at least one piece of octopus tentacle. As for the calamari, there were a few of the classic rings. There were also a few tiny(baby?) whole squid. I put the stuff in the pan for a bit and fried it. I can't recall if I used a lower number on the stove. I then added some chicken broth to the pan and let it heat up. As for the taste, it was ok. If it is on sale again, I'll pick up another bag, and use it for soup.
The other item started out with me cooking half a bag of noodles. When they were done, I dumped in some cabbage and onion that I had fried. I also added the rest of the chicken broth. I then heated this all up. It was good.
Sun: I had a snack. It was a bag of Simply Nature popcorn from ALDI. It was the sea salt variety. It was good.
My meal was a bunch of different things.
I had a can of black olives. They were good. I also drank the liquid.
I had a can of generic brand beans. They were Cajun Style Navy Beans. They were ok.
I had a bag of TGI Friday's Jalapeno Poppers cheese puff snacks. They didn't seem as good as the previous time. That could be to me being tired. Or that it was a huge 14oz bag. I think it could also be my hangup about cheddar cheese. I don't think I'll get them again. There was something of note. When I got to the bottom of the bag, there was a bunch of grease there. It was on some of the puffs.
As for the meat item, it was a package of Never Any chicken sausage from ALDI. It was the Spinach & feta variety. It actually had cooking instructions. I put them in the cast iron pan. I then added water to try to get it 1/2in high. I then turned on the burner. I didn't turn it up too high, as per the instructions. I needed to get the water to start bubbling , so I could turn it down and let simmer. Since I was using the cast iron pan, so I could use less water, I should have turned the burner up because the pan takes longer to heat up. When the sausages started cooking, they didn't smell very good. When the water started bubbling, I turned the burner down, and put the pot lid on the pan(the lid is almost a perfect fit, save for 2 pouring "spouts" on the pan). After 5 min, I took the lid off, turned the sausages, and put the lid back on. After another 5 min, I took the lid off, and poured out the water(I drank it after it cooled off, and it was ok). I then turned up the burner a little bit, again instruction, to let them brown. I should have turned the burner up, since the sausages took a long time to barely brown. Since this was optional(the cooked sausages on the pic on the package aren't even browned), I said "fuck it" and took them off the burner. As for the taste, the first piece tasted odd, but that was due to it being chicken, instead of pork and/or beef, which I'm not used to in sausage form. After that, I thought the sausages were good.
Mon: Since my "Sun" meal was so late, I wasn't hungry, so didn't want a full meal, but did want to eat somethin so I wouldn't be hungry during work on Tue.
The main item was a package of Fusia Chicken Flavor Fried rice from ALDI. It was good. It didn't take long to make. One reason I wanted to have it was that I wanted to see how much was there. There wasn't enough for it to be the only side item; I'd have something else also.
I had a package of Buddig corned beef. It was good, but standard disclaimer applies.
The last item was a bag of Specially Selected pita chips. They were Sea Salt flavor. They were good. I actually put some of the rice on a few chips, and it was good. I forget if I did the same thing with the meat.
Regarding the "sea salt" thing, I think companies are just using that for 2 reasons: 1 it sounds better than "plain" 2 it gives them an excuse to load stuff with salt.
Tue: I had a snack, which I'll skip.
My meal was the veggies(cabbage, onion, half a bag of peas & carrots) that I fried up, but I didn't use rice(or potatoes or ramen). I used half a bag of noodles that I cooked up. I fried up the veggies like normal, but I didn't add any spices.... After the veggies were done, I turned the burner down, and took the pan off to cool a bit. Later I put the pan back on the burner. I then added the noodles, and mixed them with the veggies. Then I added a jar of turkey gravy from ALDI. I then put some water in the jar and shook it up to rinse the jar out, then added this to the pan. I then mixed the gravy/water in with the noodles and veggies. I then waited until this all got hot. As for the taste, it was good plain and with my 3 items. My only criticism was that t it wasn't "liquidy" enough. I guess I could try buying 2 smaller cans(which would be more than in 1 jar) of gravy if I want to try again.
My meat item was a can of Sunny Sea sardines. They were good.
Wed: I had 2 snacks. First was a can of Vienna sausages. They were good. Even though they were in the fridge, I don't think the liquid gooified. Later I had a bag of Combos. They were good.
When I was cooking my meal, I had shredded wheat with canola oil. Unfortunately, I had that thing happen where the food wouldn't go down after I swallowed it. Either my lower esophageal sphincter wouldn't open, or my esophagus closed up. It is a horrible feeling. Even though I knew what was going on, it still caused me panic, though not as much as last time. I was able to get some water down, and also burp, which cleared things up. I don't know if it was because of the dryness of the shredded wheat and/or I should have drank water beforehand. I did drink some water. I then had more shredded wheat with no problem, and my meal was fine.
My snack item was a bag of store-brand kettle chips. They were Buffalo & Blue Cheese flavor. They were ok. They didn't taste like buffalo sauce nor blue cheese.
My meal was hotdogs, but was an experiment. Instead of using buns, I used flour tortillas. First I fried up some cabbage, and put it on my plate. I then did the same with some onion. I then fried up the 4 hotdogs I wasn't going to use on tortillas. I took the first hotdog and wrapped it in a tortilla. I then put it in the frying pan with canola oil. I held the handle up so the oil would pool in the other end of the pan, where I cooked the tortillas. As it was cooking, I would turn it over so it browned on 4 sides. When it was done, I took it and put it in the casserole dish that was in the oven(set to 170F, the lowest setting) to keep warm(the "naked" hot dogs were in there already). I then put another hotdog in a tortilla with onion. I then repeated the other steps. Next was a hotdog with cabbage. Then was one with both cabbage and onion. The bag of tortillas has a count of 10. I used half. The hotdogs come in a count of 8, and I put 4 on tortillas. That meant I had 1 tortilla left. What I did earlier was cut an 8oz block of mozzarella in half, and sliced up one of the halves(the other one went in the fridge). I put most of the halves on the tortilla. I ate a few also. I then cooked it in the pan. I had one piece of cheese left over. I tossed it in the pan. I didn't think it would melt so fast. I took it out, along with the melted stuff. That tasted ok.
As for the tortilla dogs, I had them both plain and with mustard. They were good. The tortilla with cheese was ok. The cheese didn't have any taste. The naked hotdogs were good plain and with mustard, and with a few leftover veggie pieces.
The meal took less time to prepare than I thought. The longest thing was the frying the veggies and naked hotdogs.
Thu: For a snack, I had 1 beef and 1 chicken tamale that I got from a store deli/hot section. At home, I heated them up in the microwave for 40sec at 50% power. They were good plain and with my hot sauce. They were on sale for $1 each. They looked smaller than ones from other stores in that grocery chain.
I also had some shredded wheat with canola oil.
My meal was from Arby's I had 2 orders of onion rings, which were good. I got the rest of the stuff from the 2/$5 promo. First was the Loaded Curly Fries. They were good, even though there was cheddar cheese, but I didn't taste it. I had these cold, so I don't know how having them hot would affect the taste. Next was a Classic(aka plain) Roast Beef sandwich. I used 2 packets(1 on each bun) of Arby's Spicy Three Pepper Sauce. The sandwich was good. The sauce did have a bit of heat. Next was the Crispy(aka plain) Fish Sandwich. It was good. Last was the Cajun Fish Sandwich. It was good.
Fri: For a snack, I had the 2nd(of 3) Milford Valley stuffed chicken breast. This time it was the Chicken Cordon Bleu. It was good, but not as much as the first one.
Later, I had a bag of Pop Weaver microwave popcorn. I put in for 1:36, and put canola oil in afterward. It was good. There were only a few unpopped kernels left. I usually have it during the repeat showing of TMZ. This time I had it during the original airing, but didn't watch it.
My meal was almost the same as Wed, but taken to the next level. I used my pot of canola oil.
First, I fried up the cabbage and onion in the pan like I did Wed. When I was done, I set the pan in the cold oven.
Then I put the oil on the burner to heat up.
The first thing I cooked in the oil was half a bag of tator tots. I did them in 2 or 3 batches. When they were done, they looked more gray than brown. I don't know if this was due to the oil being old, or I didn't cook them long enough. I put them in the pan in the oven. When I ate them, they were fully cooked, and were good.
Next was the naked hotdogs. I let them get all blistered on the outside. I then put them in the pan. I'll discuss them more below
I then set the oven to 170F.
I then stated on the tortillas. I did them in the same order as Wed. The first tortilla came a bit undone, but stayed together. The one with just onion came totally apart, with everything coming out. I use a basket, so I got the tortilla and hotdog out fine. I set the hotdog in the tortilla. Some of the onion stuck to the basket, so I put that in the tortilla. The next 2 with cabbage came out fine. That is partially due to me using the tongs to hold them against the basket so the wouldn't open. For the cheese one, I cut the cheese into smaller, thinner pieces thinking it would sit better in the tortilla. It was worse, and was fatter. I put it in the oil. The tortilla burned even though I didn't have it in as long as the others.
Before I put the cheese tort in, I put 2 pieces of cheese in the basket and put them in the oil. They started melting instantaneously. What didn't stay in the pot, meted to the basket. It was a pain getting that stuff off the basket. There was a bunch of burnt stuff(probably onions and cheese) floating in the oil. I scooped some of that out and set it in the basket. After a few minutes, I went to eat this stuff. Somehow, it was still boiling hot, which I found out when I picked it up. I put it down, and dunked my index finger and thumb in water. They didn't blister, but felt funny afterwards. They're pretty much ok now.
The last thing I cooked were duros. These were the uncooked version of what I reviewed for Wed in my 1/20 post. I overcooked the first 2 batches. The first batch actually burned. I found out 2 things: 1 They take only a few seconds to cook 2 They puff up so much that I could only cook around 5 at a time. I put the first few batches in the pan in the oven with everything else. There were so many, I ended up putting the rest on my plate. I got these at the same store I got the ready-made version. These came in a bulk barrel, where you scoop some in a bag. I only got a literal handful of them. For the taste, The burned ones didn't taste so good. The regular ones were ok. There was so much other shit going on(see above AND below), I couldn't really enjoy them.
Now for the tortilla dogs. I had them both plain and with mustard. The plain one was good, but a little bit hard to eat. The onion one was a total pain in the ass, and the tortilla was breaking left and right. The cabbage ones(cabbage only, with onion) were good, and were easy to eat.
After I put the cheese tortilla in the pan in the oven, a bunch of the cheese melted out the side. When I got to it, the cheese had cooled off enough, so I was able to peel it off, and put it on top of the tortilla. It didn't taste that good due to the tortilla being burned.
Finally, the naked hot dogs. When I took the pan out of the oven, these were all burnt on the outside. Like I said, the oven was only at 170F to keep the stuff warm. I'd set it lower if I could.
Another thing that happened was that the oil started smoking. I don't know how much was due to maybe it being to hot, and the onion and cheese in it. A while back, I put a battery in my smoke detector. I was wondering why it wasn't going off. I looked over later, and the little spotlight was on(I think it is supposed to be on the ceiling, but is on the wall). The little red light was blinking. I thought I heard a faint beeping. I eventually muted the tv, and could hear it barely beeping. I don't know what's up with that. I'll have to look online. I ended up turning on the stove hood fan, the ceiling fan in the living room, and opening the front door to get the smoke out.
I think when I go to Walmart, I'm going to pick up a candy thermometer so I can check the temp of my oil pot.
While typing this up, I have thought of variations of my Wed and Fri meals
I ate real late. It was a lot of food. I was a bit worn out from the whole ordeal. Thus, I didn't feel like having my 2am sweet snack while watching Bones. I took a big dump a while ago. I think I have to do a bit more. I might now be starting to have pre-hunger pains. I still haven't decided what I want for my "Sat" meal.
It is now 1125am, so there is no fucking chance of me working on my other post.
This coming week, I'll be experimenting with "new" ingredients, or at least plan to.
See you next week.
