After work on Fri, I didn't have to do any grocery shopping. I decided to visit the Cash America at the edge of the hood. There were no keyboards. First I looked in the glass case by the door. There was a BOSS digital multitrack recorder for $99. I think it was a BR-600. There was a small mixer there, but I didn't look at the brand or price. The mini mixer was there, and was reduced to $32. There was a Korg AX5B bass multifx for $7?. Finally there was a TC Helicon VoiceLive Play.
I then went to the counter where the guitars were on the wall behind it. There was some model of LTD; I think it was a superstrat. There was a BC Rich Warlock. There was also a BC Rich Mockingbird for maybe $699. The trussrod cover had the word Special on followed by what I thought was II. I couldn't find that, but I think the Roman numeral was actually X after looking on Google. There was also a strat copy from SX Guitars. There was a Gretsch there, and an Oscar Schmidt with a similar body shape. I asked a worker why the guitars and amps were behind the counter. She said people were stealing guitars, but she didn't know about the amps.
Speaking of amps, there were at least 2 from Peavey. There was one by acoustic. There was also a Fender Frontman 212R for only $64. I asked the worker if there was something wrong with it. She said she didn't think so. A 2x12 100w amp, especially a Fender, even if it's solid state, shouldn't be that cheap.
There's something I forgot to mention in my food post above. Hopefully I'll remember to discuss it next week.
Now I'll be leaving. I got a few things to do before I eat, but I don't think the cooking time will be that long thankfully. See you next week!!!!

Hello. This weeks finds me making another late start. I was dozing off during the last 30 min or so of SNL, and completely conked out close to the end. I then did some reading, then took a nap for about an hour. I then spent some time getting something ready for my meal for later, and my snacks now.
I'll do the snacks and meals together.
Before I get to the present, I have to mention 2 things.
Last week I mentioned eating a bag of Asian "Fritos". I goofed up with the info. The product name was Chippy, and the brand name is Jack 'n Jill.
Also last week, I mentioned having a bag of microwave popcorn. I forgot to mention 2 things. Instead of eating the popcorn out of the bag, I dumped it in the styrofoam "cup" the noodles came it and ate it out of that. I also ended up eating the popcorn with chopsticks.
I think popcorn is the best food to use when learning to use chopsticks. Its non-uniform surface makes it easy to grab onto. If you drop a piece, it doesn't make a mess. I think I had a third item which I have since forgotten. I did come up with 2 other items just now. It is a manageable size. It is relatively cheap, so it is no big loss if you lose some pieces to the floor.
I've not mentioned that I've been using chopsticks this whole time, even though I haven't mentioned it. They work well with Vienna sausages. I also use them to eat sardines, but I use the cs to poke holes in the sardines to break them up into smaller pieces.
I opened another box of ALDI shredded what and snacked on them all this week. I'm eating way too many of them. I also did the canola oil thing on Fri, which I'm trying to refrain from doing.
So, lets get to it!
Sat: One of the local grocery chains had the El Monterey XXL burritos(10oz) on sale for $1 each on 2 different occasions. On trips to 2 different stores, I was able to pick up 6(all?) of the varieties. I had 3 of them: Bean & Cheese Burrito: This was actually good. A major reason was that it was not cheesy. I didn't taste any, or even see it. Beef & Bean Burrito: This was good. Spicy Red Hot Beef & Bean Chimichanga: It was good. There was maybe some spiciness.
I had these all plain, with Sriracha, with Casa Mamita salsa, and a combo of both. I didn't make any notes of my impressions of the use of condiments, but I think I didn't really like the Sriracha. I wish I still had some of the Valentina hot sauce to use.
I had one last thing to mention about the salsa. I opened the jar when I used it on Jan 14. I figured the acidity would keep it from going bad. When I opened the jar this time, there was some white shit on part of the top of the salsa. I concluded it was mold. I scooped out quite a bit of the salsa and dumped it in the sink. The salsa in the jar smelled and tasted fine. I didn't get diarrhea the next day, so I guess it was fine.
Sun: First, I scraped out that jar of peanut butter. It was from Jif, and it was some kind of honey variety. It was good.
My meal was a bag of store-brand tortilla chips. The flavor was Margarita Lime. They just had a weak lime taste. I still considered them good. I had them plain and with the rest of the salsa. Still no diarrhea; actually, I don't think I took a dump the next day.
Mon: I had my fried rice and veggies. It was good plain and with my 3 items.
Tue: See Mon.
Wed: See Tue.
Thu: At the grocery store, I picked up a salisbury steak. I ate it while watching Young Sheldon. It tasted good. For those that don't know, ss can be considered pre-sliced meatloaf(I don't know if this is a US-specific food item).
Later I had another snack. It was a bag of tortilla chips from the brand Food Should Taste Good. The were the Multigrain variety. They were ok. I was a bit distracted because some of the chewed up chips were getting stuck in my molar hole.
For my meal, I made fried up my veggies. Instead of using rice, I used 3 packages of Chicken flavor Maruchan ramen noodles. I've mentioned the preparation steps elsewhere in this thread. Like the other times, I didn't add other stuff to the pan. I had it alone, with my 3 items, and with parmesan cheese. I recall it tasted best plain.
I have to remember to discuss the onions next week because it is too late to talk about it now.
Fri: For my snack, I picked up 2 things while I was at a grocery store. First was 2 pieces of battered cod. They were good. The other item was a piece of pizza.
Hold on, I'm off to the bathroom. Ok, I'm back. I'll talk a bit about it in a bit.
The pizza was Chicago-style(aka deep-dish). I warmed it up a bit in the microwave. It was good, even though the cheese had solidified.
My meal consisted of the wraps I picked up at the grocery store I visited on Thu. They were on sale again for $3.99, and they had all 4 varieties that I wanted. While I mostly had them plain, I also tried them with Sriracha and soy sauce. I actually didn't taste the soy sauce. As for the Sriracha, it was ok on the first 2 and didn't notice it on the other 2. Maybe I didn't put enough on for the last 2. I'll put the plain reviews in a list in eating order:
Turkey Bacon: This was good, and I'm pretty sure I could taste the bacon. Chicken Caesar: It was good. The wraps were cut in the middle. Some of the chicken pieces on the cut came out on the plastic wrap it was wrapped in. Buffalo Chicken: This one had an odd taste. It might have been the American or cheddar cheese on it. It was not hot. I wouldn't get this one again. This one might have benefitted from the Valentina hot sauce. Italian: It was ok. It didn't seem to have much flavor.
I posted 2 weeks ago about going to another store in that chain and looking at the wraps. I'll look again at them since they are only $3.19 normally. They don't make a Buffalo Chicken version.
Sat: I've had a bunch of snacks. First up was a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie. It was good. Next was a package(a rectangle scored on top 2 make 2 squares) of LD Cosmic Brownies. They were good. They are a lot denser than regular brownies.
I also tried a new beverage that I picked up at the Asian store. It was Young Coconut Juice With Pulp. The brand or company is Tropics. The back has the parent company name, Philipine Foodtrade Corp, which is based in CA in the US. They distribute Filipino products, including items under the Tropics brand. Their tagline is A Filipino Favorite. The coconut juice is actually made in Thailand. As for the taste, it tasted like coconut, but had some other odd taste. Like other brands, it came in a small glass bottle with a pull tab top. I had to stick a handle of a small screwdriver in the tab to pull it open. After I was done with it. I was drinking some Pepsi.
I was drinking the c juice while eating some stuff I picked up at the h/n/o store Fri. They had some stuff on sale for $3.99lb. First was chocolate coated almonds. They were good. Next was dark chocolate covered almonds. They were good. Last was dark chocolate peanut clusters. They were good. I keep all 3 of the bags in the fridge. There were also regular chocolate peanut clusters on sale, but I didn't get any because they were out.
After I was done eating the choc nuts, there was some pressure in my colon, but it went away. A little later, I got up and got some more, and some more Pepsi. After drinking some Pepsi and eating a few nuts, the pressure came back. I decided I should go to the bathroom. What came out was like pea soup. I don't know if the color is due to 2 of the tortillas for the wraps were green, or if something didn't agree with me. After I stood up, I notice my belly bloated. After finishing the nuts and Pepsi, my stomach was gurgly, and I can feel gas in my colon, but I can feel there is more poo in the way. It looks like I'll have to make another toilet trip before I have my actual meal. That'll be #5 since I came home from work on Fri.
That's it for the food.
I'll be having my actual meal in a bit. It will include Brookdale Vienna sausages which are in the fridge, which I probably will not need to talk about next time. Also, half a bag of Borden shredded mozzarella, which'll probably be good. I will talk about the can of Pringles I have. I haven't made up my mind on which flavor I will have.
Next week, I will be experimenting with a new ingredient.
It is now after 8am.
See you next week, unless something happens like an earthquake, or we get nuked.

Good morning/afternoon/evening/night(depending on your time zone). The wind was blowing, so I had to pay 100% attention to SNL because the station was glitching. At least I'm not starting as late as previous times.
I guess it's time for the food. Again I'll put the snacks with their meals.
Again I have been snacking on way too man shredded wheats. I've also gone back to doing the canola oil thing, but don't use as much oil or sw as I used to.
Sat: The only component of my meal to review was a can of Pringles. They were the Loaded Baked Potato flavor. They were good. They fall under the category of liking them for their taste, not because they taste like their name.
Sun: Nothing worth reviewing.
For the meals I made on M,T,T,F, I used a new ingredient. It was a bottle of V8. It was the Spicy Hot variety. I would have got the Low Sodium version, but the store where it was on sale didn't have it. I opened the bottle and poured it out into 4 2-cup containers, so I could have approximately the same amount each time. I think it did add some heat. I don't know if I'll use it again. The 46oz bottle was $2.50 on sale. Also, it has a bunch of salt(does not make a fuck's worth of sense for a beverage). I think even the Low Sodium version has a bunch of salt in it. I'll give more info for each respective meal.
I guess I should remind everybody, or nobody, as the case may be, that I don't have any cumin, paprika, or red pepper flakes. I added all the other stuff I had to these meals.
Mon: I made my rice and veggies. I added the V8 a bit after the 2nd round of spices.... When I normally cook this, I let it fry for a while between stirrings, so I get browned/burnt crunchy parts. When I made it this time, some parts got a bit of burning, but didn't get crunchy. It didn't seem any more moist than regular. As for the taste, it was good. I also tried it with my 3 items. I don't think I noticed them. It could be that I didn't add enough of those.
Tue: This was basically the same as Mon. What I did differently was add the V8 when I turned the burner off, but before I took the pan off it to cool off. Thinking back, it might have been a bit before I turned the burner off. Unfortunately, I didn't take any notes, so I can't tell if it was moister and/or crunchier than Mon's version. The taste aspect was the same as Mon.
Wed: For a snack, I had a package of Honey Ham from a company called Lunch Mate. This is the ALDI version of Buddig meat packages. It was good. It had a ham taste
I went to Arby's. There were no sanitary issues. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had 2 orders of onion rings, which were good. They are doing the 2 for $6 gyro deal. I got 4. 1 Turkey, 1 Beef, 2 Traditional(beef/lamb combo). They were all good.
Thu: I had 2 snacks. First I got some breaded catfish at a grocery store. I ate it while watching Young Sheldon. It was good, although 1 piece was full of bones. I am pissed because I think they way overcharged me on it. Later I had a bag of store-brand Cheetos. They were the hot version. They were good. I think I detected a bit of heat this time.
I made my veggie fajitas. I added the V8 after the 2nd round of spices.... When I make these normally, I don't think I let the rice really get brown. Well it didn't happen this time anyway. It didn't seem any moister than normal. I used 5 tortillas. 2 plain, 1 with black pepper, 1 with Sriracha, and 1 with both. I didn't taste the extra stuff, but they were all good anyway.
Fri: I had 2 snacks. First was a package of Lunch Mate meat. This time it was Beef. It was good, even though it was a generic meat taste. The package actually says in decent sized letters "CONTAINS UP TO 15% OF A FLAVORING SOLUTION". Later, I took the crumbs from 3 boxes of shredded wheat and mixed it with a ton of canola oil. It was good. A few hours afterward(before I had my meal), I had to go take a dump, even though I took a large one after I got home from work/shopping/(see next post). It was the consistency of Jiffy cornbread batter.
I made the veggie fajitas, but added the V8 after I turned the burner off. The mixture was more moist than the previous day, even though it sat around for a while while I was doing something else. I know I added more canola oil this time, which maybe could have contributed. There also seemed to be more there. Besides the V8, the only thing I can think of was maybe I added a bit more cabbage. I did the same thing as Thu regarding the tortillas. They were all good. I was able to taste the Sriracha on the 2 I put it on, but it complimented them instead of dominating.
Sat: I had a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie. It was good. Next was a package of LD Cosmic Brownies. They were good.
I will be having the same h/n/o stuff as last week, and something new. I'll discuss those next week. Hopefully I don't have to take an emergency dump this time.
For my meal, I'll be having a can Pringles, which I'll probably review. I think I will also review one of my meat items(not the Vienna sausages).
I'll be back in a bit.

Hello again. After work, I visited some places that are a bit out of the way.
First I went to the music store. When I got to the door, I saw it was closed. I thought they were open because the decorative light strip around the window was on. Maybe the owner had to leave in a hurry.
I was only able to see the front room where the cash register is. There was a Casio WK series keyboard. I thought it was WK-242, but I don't see a model with that number.
I then went to the nearby 2 level thrift store. I noticed the parking lot was basically empty. I also noticed there was a sign saying something like "outlet store". I asked the lady inside what was going on. She told me the thrift store moved into a store in the shopping center up the hill. The old store is now an outlet where they sell the stuff they want to get rid of.
Next was the thrift store in the new location. In the main area, there was a Maestro acoustic guitar with no strings for $10. There was also a Jesus fish tambourine. This site has a pic: www.christianbook.com/wooden-ichthus-tambourine/pd/221505
It would be funny for a black/death metal band to have one of these on their drumset.
Behind the one counter, there was an SNES. I don't think there were any games with it, or any games at all. There were a cello and violin. I didn't ask how much they were. There was also an oscilloscope. I asked a worker how much it is. He told me $150. That is a bit too much for me. Also, I can probably find a computer program that does the same thing.
Finally the last thrift store. The only thing of note was a kiddie kb. I didn't even have a brand name on the panel.
This place has really narrow aisles, and many racks of clothes. I think I should nickname this place fire hazard or firetrap.
That's all for this week. I'll be having my meal in a bit.
I'll be back next week with my food report. Hopefully, I'll also have something else for you(dun dun dun).

Hello fellow dodgers! Today has me pretyping some of this at work because our computer systems are down.
I will be doing the snacks with the meals again, since it is easier.
I’m still snacking on shredded wheat; sometimes with canola oil.
Sat: Like I said last week, I would finish up with the snacks. I had some of the regular chocolate and dark chocolate covered almonds. They were good. I also had some of the dark chocolate peanut clusters, which were also good. I also opened up a bag of Whoppers mini Robin Eggs. If you don’t know, these are malted milk balls in egg shapes with some kind of coating that isn’t chocolate. They were good. I’ve been able to exert my willpower in that I haven’t gone snacking on the choco nuts and/or the Easter candy(I have quite a few bags of various kinds).
I washed this down with the rest of the Pepsi. The only reason I mention this is that I think it maybe went kind of flat. I kept the cap on the bottle, and kept it in the fridge, so I don’t know why that happened.
As for the meal itself, the first item to review was a can of Pringles. They were the pizza flavor. They were good. For the most part, they didn’t taste like pizza. But 1 or 2 chips reminded me of the taste of a Totino’s Party Pizza. So there might be your answer; if you like the TPP, then you should probably like these Pringles. The other item to review was a package of Hormel Peperoni Bites. These are basically peperoni snack sticks cut up into chunks. They were good.
I almost forgot that I opened a jar of olives. They were the feta stuffed olives from Great Value(Walmart). I did not taste the feta at all; they just tasted like olives. Since feta is salty, it made the olives taste really salty. I snacked on these throughout the week.
Sun: I had a box of Triscuits. They were the Cracked Pepper & Olive oil flavor. They were good. There was some kind of flavor, but I couldn’t always nail it down as pepper, and I don’t detect the olive oil. I was also distracted due to getting a bunch in my molar hole and having to get it out, using a piece of string like floss.
Mon: I will just review one of my snack items. It was a Maruchan Instant Lunch cup. These were on sale a while back, so I picked up a few to try. This time was the Roast Chicken flavor. I have to start out with 2 major negatives. First, it really isn't instant. You have to boil water and add it to the cup, then let it sit for 3 min before you stir it up. What is worse, you can't put the water in the cup and throw it in the microwave. I didn't know this before reading the instructions. Speaking of the instructions, that is my 2nd negative. The instructions say to add water, but NOT HOW MUCH!!!! By boiling the water and then pouring it in my measuring cup, I saw that I put about 1 1/4 cups in, and that might have been a tad too much. Ok, that might technically been 3 items, but whatever. As for the taste, it overall was good. It seemed the noodles don't let the liquid stick to them, so you don't get a lot of flavor. It would be best to eat them Asian-style, where you put the cup to your mouth and suck the liquid and push in the noodles with chopsticks.
The meal was fried rice and veggies. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
Tue: I had a snack. It was a bag of Lay's Poppables. They were the Sea Salt flavor. They were good. They tasted more like veggie straws and/or chips instead of potato chips.
For my meal, see Mon.
Wed: I had a can of Vienna sausages from Brookdale. They were good. I took them right off the shelf. I think they do taste better after they've been I the fridge. I also had a bag of pork rinds. They were Mr. Porker Hot And Spicy Pork Skins. They were good, but not hot. They had a taste of buffalo wing sauce.
My meal was a frozen pizza by Jack's. It was the Original Thin Sausage & Peperoni. It was good, but the thin crust made it rather small.
Thu: I went to Arby's to get a snack. It was the Gyro Loaded Curly Fries. They were good. There was a negative. The fries were too crispy. For this application, the fries should be soft.
I had dinner with my parents, so no review.
Fri: I had 2 snacks. First was some Champs Chicken tenders that I got at a store that sells them. They were good. I had them wile I was driving(see the 2nd post below this one). The second item was a bag of tortilla chips. They were the Grounded Snacks brand. They were on clearance sale at the h/n/o store. These chips are made out of red rice and quinoa. They were the Aged White Cheddar flavor. They were good. They didn't have a cheese taste, which I count as a positive. There was some other flavor I couldn't id. At the time, I was thinking guacamole.
My meal was an experiment with 3 items.
First was 2 cans of Campbell's soup. It was Tuscan-Style Lentil. It was good. It was a pain in the ass to get out of the cans.
Next up is a box of pierogis from Bremer that I bought at ALDI. They were the Potato & Onion variety. There were instructions for cooking them 5 different ways: bake, boil, microwave, saute, deep fry. I baked them. The instructions said to use cooking spray on the cookie sheet and the pierogis themselves. I don't have any, so I just brushed on canola oil on both. Apparently my cookie sheet is a piece of shit since it likes to warp in the oven, and this time was no exception. I was busy getting the soup out when I heard the telltale pop. I checked in the oven, and none had fallen off. I had to push a few around because they were close to the edge(of Close To The Edge for my fellow Yes fans). As for the taste, I guess they were good. They reminded me of mashed potatoes. Also, they give me an idea for an experiment, but that'll have to wait until I get some more potatoes.
The final item was my meat item. They were a package of bangers from Parkview that I bought at ALDI. They are precooked, so all I had to do was brown them. I used my cast iron pan. I got them a little to brown in spots. I tried them plain and with a few items. Of course I made a list that I will now proceed to post: plain: To me, they tasted like brats. There are 3 kind of brats: like white hot dogs, like Italian sausage, like Polish sausage/kielbasa. Since the bangers were white, I'm leaning toward white hd, but they could have been Italian sausage. I thought they were good, even though I don't like the white hot dog and Italian sausage brats. Go figure. black pepper: Not much difference. soy sauce: Not much difference. Sriracha: Somehow it didn't any flavor, but did add some heat mustard: This was ok.
Sat: Right now, I am eating a box of Chicken in a Biskit crackers. They are good
I'll be having my actual meal later. I kind of have to wait until there is some defrosting completed. It is another experiment. I'll review it next week.
I'll be back in a bit.

On Thu, I went to see the doctor. After that, I went to the thrift stores in my former town. Of the 5 places I visited, there was stuff at 1, 3, and 4.
At place 1, there was a piano for $100. I don't know if it was the same one as before. Right next to it was a Yamaha organ from the Electone series. They wanted $90 for it. It was plugged in, so I was messing with it. Even though it is an organ, I could only seem to find 1 organ sound for just one of the keyboards. If there isn't some other way to set/program it, that really sucks.
Place 3 was Savers. There were 2 kiddie guitars. One was by First Act. It had a built in speaker. The other one had the word Crown on the headstock. I strummed both, while not holding them, and the Crown sounded better. There was what looked like a Paper Jamz amp. There were 2 kiddie kb that looked to be ones from last time. There were 2 big Yamaha speakers for $6.99 each. They were 140 watts at 8 ohms. Even though they were stereo speakers, I could use them if I had a way to hook them up. There was also a trumpet. There were 2 Casio keyboards; an LK165 for $49.99, and a CT-370 for $19.99.
At the 4th place, there were a bunch of simple mini mixers. Two of them were for mixing video audio(I guess like adding a voiceover or music to a video). There were 2 or 3 audio mixers by The Radio Shack brand Realistic.
Again, I'll be back in a bit.

If anyone is reading this, and paying attention, you know what time of year this is. It is when I do my north of the river pawn/thrift/gun/music store trip. I did it on Fri. I got a REAL late start. It was after noon. I didn't get home until after 5pm. I didn't even stop at the library to take a break.
I won't be posting the whole trip right now. I'll break it up into parts.
I mostly only mention places where I found stuff of interest.
I didn't visit the thrift store at the Salvation Army headquarters. I think I'll be taking some days off at the end of May. If so, I'll do it then.
My first stop was the gun store in North Kansas City(not a part of KC, but its own town). The only thing there of note was maybe one of those semiauto 12ga shotguns with a magazine.
I didn't visit the army surplus store.
My first major stop was Alpha Pawn. There was a Ruger Mini-14 for $799. There was a Norinco SKS for $456.
For guitars, the Ovation electric was still there. I'm not sure about these others. There was an Epi Special II. There was an LTD strat. There was an Indonesian Squier that had a hss pickup configuration. Besides the bridge hb, the coloring was fancier than what you normally find. I think it was green. It had a "pearl" pickguard and black pickup bobbins. There was a Mexican Fender Strat for $399. There was a Washburn with hss pu config and 24 frets. There were 2 Ibanez guitars: a GiO, and an RG with a wood stain finish. There were also 2 Schecters. One had a hh config ans 24 frets. I didn't note what kind of bridge it had, but it seems like most Schecters I see have hardtail(aka fixed) bridges. The other I think was a SGR Solo-6.
For keyboards, there were 2 controllers, and 3 by Casio.
For amps, there were 3 bass amps. One was a Behringer. Another was an Eden Nemesis series. The third was an Ampeg B3 series. I think the specific model number is B328. I think the wanted $249 for it. There was also an Orange Micro Terror guitar head for $109.
Finally, there was a wah pedal. I don't know if this was the one that has been there for a long time. I picked it up and saw it was made by Rocktron.
Next is the Riverside strip mall.
First is the place called Man Cave Store. The only thing there was a p bass copy by a company called Barcelona.
Then I went over to the cat shelter thrift store. A large part of it was walled off, so I guess the building owner is going to try to lease that part out to someone else. There were no cats to adopt, and it didn't look like there were any just wandering around.
I guess I'll leave it at that for now. I'm going to go make my meal. I don't know if I'll continue this before next week's food reviews.

Well this night has gone to hell. The NHL playoff game went into 2nd ot, so SNL started close to midnight. Instead of getting my reading done and starting this while waiting, I watched most of an episode of L&O SVU that I may have seen before. Then when I was watching SNL, I got drowsy before the beginning of Weekend Update and dozed off during. Then after SNL was over, I thought I'd try to take a nap for 30 min before Bones came on. I went and lied in bed but did not fall asleep.
Last week, I forgot to mention that I finished up the jar of Great Value feta stuffed olives. Like I said the week before, while they were good, they just tasted like olives.
I'll list the snacks and meals together.
As always, I've been snacking on shredded wheat. And I'm still not abstaining from using canola oil.
Sat: This was a food experiment. I used my pot full of canola oil to deep fry everything. I'll list the things in order of complexity.
The last thing I made was an onion. I cut it into 3 or 4 thick slices. I put flour and cornstarch(I'll discuss more below) on the slices. They didn't get crispy from that. On 2 of the slices, the outer ring came off during cooking. Those pieces did almost get crispy, but I didn't leave the onion in long enough. As for the taste, it was ok. I don't think I'll do this again.
The first item I cooked was a bag of hush puppies. I forget what brand they were. I didn't cook them all at once. The last 1 or 2 batches I left in a little too long, so they got really brown on the outside. These were really good.
The second item I made was fish. It was pollock(like the overhyped artist, not the Polish slur). First, I drained the water out of the bag and drank it(it was fishy, but good). I then cut each filet into smaller pieces. I took a container lid to use. I put on some flour and mixed in a little bit of cornstarch(and repeated as needed). I then put the fish in this mixture and made sure it was covered. I then put the pieces on a plate. I then tried to cook pieces of similar thickness together. When the pieces were done, I put them in my pan(along with the hush puppies). I eventually put the pan in the oven, which I set at the lowest temp(170F), to keep warm. As for the taste, they were ok. One of the really thin pieces tasted like bacon. The pieces were really crispy.
After I got done cooking the fish, there was a major smoke haze throughout my house. I'm pretty sure it hadn't completely dissipated when I woke up. The smell lingered days later.
Sun: I finished another jar of peanut butter. It was the honey variety from Jif. It was good.
I had a box of Roasted Garlic Triscuits. They were good. While there is a flavor, I can't remember if I can id it as garlic.
Mon: This was just my fried rice and veggies. It was good alone, and with my 3 items.
Tue: See Mon.
I used up the Sriracha on Tue, so I opened a new bottle of "hot" sauce. It was Burman's(ALDI brand) chili sauce. When I saw the word chili on the bottle, I thought it would be spicy. IT. IS. NOT. To me, it tasted like ketchup that was a bit tangier. Needless to say, I won't be buying this again. Since the bottle is small, I think it'll run out soon. I guess I should go to the Asian store this week to pick up another bottle of Sriracha.
Wed: I hit the snacks pretty hard. This was the day that started with me having to take a work dump and/or took a long time to get home due to a wreck on the interstate. First I had a bag of Pajedas. I call these Mexican Funyuns. They were good. What's also good is that they are a fuckton cheaper than actual Funyuns. Next was a package of Lunch Mate turkey from ALDI. While it was good, it had a generic meat taste. The last item was a bag of cheese crackers by Specially Selected from ALDI. They were Parmesan Cheese Bites. They were good. They didn't taste like parmesan, but had their own unique flavor; and not the Chezit generic flavor.
The meal was my veggie fajitas. First I threw in some cabbage. Then I put in onion. Then I put in half a bag of frozen peas and carrots that I had cooked. Next was 1/2 cup(before I cooked it earlier) of rice. After cooking all this for a bit, I turned the burner down to 2, and took the pan off to cool down a bit. I then put the pan back on the burner. I then added half a can of chili beans. I think the brand is Dakota(from ALDI). I smashed the beans up and mixed them in. Finally, I added half a tube of Cacique beef chorizo. I turned the burner back up to 5 for a while.
I used 5 flour tortillas. I had 2 fajitas plain. I had one with pepper. One with the chili sauce. And one with both. They were all good. The beans and chorizo provide enough seasoning where I didn't have to add anything extra in the pan.
Thu: I had a snack. It was a bag of pea snacks from the brand Peas Please. They were the Southwest Spice variety. They were good. I don't know what the flavor was supposed to be, or what it actually tasted like.
For my meal, I went to Wendy's. I ate the stuff long after I bought it, so it was room temp. I had 2 large orders of fries. They were good. I don't know if they would be better being hot. I have to give a shout out in regards that you get a lot for the amount you pay. They are doing a 2/$6 promotion with 4 items to choose from. I got 1 of each. First was the 3-piece Chicken Tenders. They were good. For dipping sauce, I used a container of McDonald's Sweet 'N Sour. It didn't taste like other sns sauces I've tasted, so I'm going to say it wasn't good. I think I got it when I got the Chicken McNuggets that I covered with cheese, so maybe it got old, even though it has been refrigerated all this time. I might have had a better opinion if it was called something else. Next was a Dave's Single, which is a cheeseburger. I didn't think it was that good, which I think was because I was somehow able to taste the cheese. I don't know if this was affected by the temperature. It was a bit small, but seemed heavy. Next was the Homestyle Chicken Sandwich. It was good. Finally was the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. It was good. Like the burger, the chicken sandwiches were small but heavy. The piece of chicken seemed rather thick.
Except for the fries, these items seemed a bit high-priced. What I would like to do is have a meal where I A/B some of these things with their BK equivalents.
Fri: For a snack, I got 2 tamales(1 chicken, 1 beef) at the store where they were on sale for $1 each. I had them both plain and with packets of Taco Bell Diablo sauce. They were really good. So good, in fact, I could have bought a bunch of them and had a meal. I did warm them up in the microwave a bit.
My meal was veggie fajitas. This time I used 1/2 bag of cooked frozen broccoli instead of peas and carrots. Everything else was the same.
Sat: I had a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie. It was good. Next was a package of LD Cosmic Brownies. They were good.
Like before, I'll mention the h/n/o snacks and the other thing next week. Also, I opened up a new beverage, which will also be next week.
My meal will be in the should've done category. Thankfully, it won't take long to prepare.
It's now 5:23am. I wish I had started earlier.
See you in a bit.

Now back to my trip on 4/20.
When I left off, I was at the shopping center in Riverside. I will now continue with the final place, a pawn shop.
It was on the news a few days prior because some people broke in and stole guns. I was hoping to provide a link from one of the tv stations, but there is nothing on their webstites, even though they covered it. I could only find a shitty article from our local paper: www.kansascity.com/news/local/crime/article209322024.html
They got both the municipality and store name wrong. When I got there, The window was gone, as were bricks below it, meaning they used a vehicle to smash through. When I went inside, all the guns were gone. I don't know if they had all been stolen, or the remainder were stored in a safe location. The 2 shitty customized guitars were still there. There were a bunch of strat copies, many of which were there from previous times. The ones I notated some Squires, 2 Johnsons, an AXL, and a Peavey Raptor. There was a Washburn from the WI series. There was a Yamaha RGX312 for $140. There might have been some shitty practice amps, but I didn't notate them. The only amp I did notate was a Yorkville bass head. I notated it as 250B, but the actual name may be BLOC 250B. I don't think I saw a price tag.
The next place to mention was Red Racks. Behind the counter was a clarinet and violin. There was also a Carvin 2x12 speaker cab for $199. Too bad I wasn't looking for something like this, since they were having a 50% off sale that weekend for Earth Day.
I visited a Savers thrift store. While there was no musical equipment, there was something interesting. It was some kind of bladed weapon for $44.99.
Now up is the tornado Cash America. As always, there were a ton of guitars behind the counter. I tried to notate as many as I could. I probably caught some repeats. There were 4 Dean guitars: a Razorback, a lefty V that may have been a signature model or just a VXL, a Z series(explore shape), and a Michael Schenker v for maybe only $149. There were 2 Jacksons, one an hss config for $499. there were 2 Schecters with hh config. I think both had whammy bars(a lot of this brand have fixed bridges), and one or both had 24frets. There was a Hagstrom LP style for maybe $499. There was a Squire there for some reason. I don't know why it would be behind the counter unless it was one of the Japanese models. There was a LTD that was some variation of a LP. I think it might have been one of the 3 knob models. there was a camo ESP for only $249. I'm kind of thinking it was an LTD(ESP's budget line) because ESPs are usually $$$$.
Out in the main area, there was a Yamaha Motif for $1599. I don't know what series it was, but was the 7 version, meaning it had 76 keys(6 61, 7 76, 8 88). There was a Casio digital piano for $599. There was also an Alesis Quadrasynth for $149. Also from Alesis was a drumpad box; I don't know if it was a controller or had sounds. There was also a Midiverb III multi fx box. For guitars, there was a Squier, a 2 knob Epi SG. My notes say it was a Special, meaning it has 2 humbuckers(the Jr version just has one in the bridge position). There was an Ibanez GiO miKro. There was also a Mitchel guitar that resembles a Schecter. For amps there was a Line 6 AxSys212, their flagship model. There was also a AMPLIFi, which is their Bluetooth speaker system, which also has amp capabilities. There was a Genz Benz Shenadoah acoustic amp. There was also an Orange Crush 35RT for maybe $179.
The next place was a Salvation Army thrift store. There were no products to mention, just a story. I was walking over to one area where there were 2 ladies. I heard them say something that I think was about me, maybe something like "he's coming this way". When I walked over there, I smelled what maybe was a fart. So, there you go.
Next stop was the strip club pawn shop. There was a ton of stuff from previous trips. They include: Marshall Woburn Pignose Hog 20 acoustic cabinet Crate(with similar specs to my Peavey) Peavey Century Peavey PA-400 Kramer guitar(probably) Epi LP Jr Casio WK-1630 Line 6 Uber Metal BOSS PW-2 Power Driver Digitech Element
There was another Casio kb that might be a repeat, but I didn't notate the model. There was an Orange Crush 35 RT for $199. There was a GK Backline 250 head with a matching 410 cabinet. For guitars, There was an Epi LP Special with the winged e logo. I don't know if that was a repeat. There were 2 LTDs: an F10, and a hh config with hardtail bridge. There was also a Schecter hh hardtail. There was also a Samick LP for $149 that had a bolt-on neck. There were a bunch of new fx pedals. There was a Line 6 M5 for $100. There was an Ibanez SM7 Smash Box. There were 3 Digitech pedals. First was a Death Metal. Next was a Hod Rod Rock Distorstion from the X Series. Finally was a PDS20/20 Multi Play. This was a delay pedal that had other delay-related effects(chorus, flanger, looper). It might actually be worth something.
Before I left, the lady I've talked to many times(used to work at "tornado", and my bro taught 1 or more of her kids) showed me a Stagg Upright Electric Bass. Look it up yourself.
Next stop was the Claycomo gun store. When I got there, the glass on the door was all smashed on the bottom. It looked like it had been shot. I asked one of the guys there what happened. He said somebody used a truck to bend up the iron bar door. Then someone crawled under and tried to smash the glass with a hammer. Fortunately the bulletproof film kept the glass from braking out. He also said the cops think it was the same people who hit the Riverside shop.
There were a few interesting items. There was a Bushmaster rifle. A worker said it was an early model. If forget what all he said. If it was an original model with hybrid AK/AR mechanicals, it is worth $$$$. There was a FNAR .308. It's somehow related to the FN FAL, but I'm not Googling to find out. There was also a CZ 5.56. Apparently there is a Czechoslovakian firearms manufacturer called CZ that that has as US subsidiary, and they have a 5.56mm carbine. Or something like that. Interestingly enough, they are located right across the state line.
The final stop was a pawn shop. This is the one that was located at the end of the strip mall that has the thrift store and used to have the antique store. I asked the guy if those people tried to break into his place, and he said no. There were 2 violins, a clarinet, and a flute. There was an Ibby GiO with hh and 24f. There was a Daisy Rock Girl double cutaway guitar. There was a Fender BXR bass amp. There was a Yamaha combo amp. There was a Peavey pa head. There was also a pair of Peavey pa speaker cabinets.
That's the end of my trip.
Maybe next Fri, I'll go to the music store that was closed, and the Guitar Center that I totally forgot about.
It is now after 9:30am. After I take a dump and do something else, I can finally make my meal.
Hopefully I'll see you all next week!

Heeeeeeeeeeeere's Johnny!(my real name isn't Johnny, fyi)
Let's get to some food.
I didn't eat any shredded wheat this week in an effort to cut down on my snacking and lose some weight again. I had a crappy day at work Mon, but I refrained from having more than one thing(I won't review) to snack on.
Sat: I forgot last week to mention that I finished a box of cereal. It was Post's Cinnamon Pebbles. They were ok, but didn't have a strong taste. I think the powder in the bottom of the bag tasted better.
Now let me c/p: I had some of the regular chocolate and dark chocolate covered almonds. They were good. I also had some of the dark chocolate peanut clusters, which were also good. I also opened up a bag of Whoppers mini Robin Eggs. They were good.
I tried a new beverage. It was Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Lemonade. I thought it didn't taste like either; just some kind of flavor. I'll try some a bit later.
Like I said last week, my meal was a "should have". I bought a rotisserie chicken. I heated it up in the microwave. A sticker on the package said it was garlic pepper flavor. I ate a piece from the breast with the skin still attached. While it was good, it didn't taste like garlic or pepper. I also cut off a few pieces of breast meat with out the skin and put Mrs. Dash on them. I couldn't taste it. I then took the rest of the chicken and cut into small pieces and put them in my small casserole dish. That took a long time. I then poured a 12.5oz store-brand jar of turkey gravy in a small pot and heated it up. I then dumped that in with the chicken and mixed it all up. I ate this on a box of Club crackers. It was really good. I will definitely do this again.
Since I was typing up the rest of my trip, I got a super late start. I'm thinking I got done eating after 11am. You're welcome.
Sun: I opened up a box of cereal which I'll review when I'm done. Either this day, or the prev Sun, I opened a new jar of peanut butter. Review when done.
My meal consisted of a bag of Clancy's Chili Cheese fritos. They were good. I don't know how they compare to the real Fritos, except they're probably a lot cheaper.
Mon: I had my fried rice and veggies. I used the other half of the bag of peas and carrots from the previous week. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
Tue: Fried rice and veggies. This time I used the rest of the broccoli from the prev week. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
Wed: I had "hotdogs". They were the Oscar Mayer Smokies, which are actually hotdog sized smoked sausages. I cooked them in the microwave. I had them all with mustard. I had 4 on buns, and the other 4 bare. I also cut some onion. I had enough for all 4 buns, and for some of the naked ones. They were all good.
For my snack, I had a bag of Lay's chips. They were the Honey Chipotle flavor. Going in, I was expecting them to taste like bbq sauce since that has a sweet component(which can include honey). I was surprised that I liked them. They weren't sweet; it was a flavor I could describe. While I did like them, it wasn't enough for me to make a future purchase.
Thu: I went to Arby's for my meal and snack item.
The snack was a salad. I was intending to get the Greek Gyro Salad. While I was waiting for my order, I saw that the receipt said "Super Greek Salad", and was charged more for that. I didn't complain, but I asked the girl behind the counter(who didn't take my order) what the difference was. She said the SGS is bigger. She was right, but it also comes with some pieces of flatbread. It came with 2 big packets of tzatziki dressing. I originally thought I would only need one and save the other for other stuff. It was very thick, so I needed both packets. It was good. When I got home, I put the bag containing the salad and dressing packets in the fridge. I think maybe I should have just put the dressing in, or even left that out. I think the salad would have tasted better not being fridge cold. I'm not a salad person, so I wouldn't buy it again. Also, it is $$$$. Maybe a company makes tzatziki salad dressing, and I can just buy some of that and make my own salad if I wanted to.
Let me c/p again: I had 2 orders of onion rings, which were good. They are doing the 2 for $6 gyro deal. I got 4. 1 Turkey, 1 Beef, 2 Traditional(beef/lamb combo). They were all good.
Fri: I had a snack. It was a bag of Food Should Taste Good tortilla chips. They were the Blue Corn variety. They were good, but seemed a bit salty.
I think they didn't agree with me since I had to take an unscheduled dump a few hours later.
My meal was hotdogs They were Oscar Mayer Uncured Jumbo Wieners. I have to comment on something here. The Jumbo has 8 to a pack. The Classic has 10 to a pack. They weigh the same amount(1lb). The Classic are skinnier. I was going somewhere with this, but I think I'm wrong. There are 2 more in the Classic package so it is 16oz. I think my parents would always get the jumbo variety of hotdogs(I think they pretty much stuck with OM). The Classic would be better for chili dogs. I think Nathan's might be skinnier, and thus would be even better.
The ones I had were the plain/regular flavor. I fried them in the pan. I didn't get them almost burnt this time. Before cooking those, I browned some onion and cabbage(on opposite sides, not mixed) in the pan. After I cooked the hd, I put in a bun, open side down, which I moved around the pan to get the oil/juice on it. After I took it out, I tried to coat the open side of another bun with canola oil, then threw it in the pan. I had all 4 with mustard. I had 4 on buns, and 4 naked. There was only enough onion for 2 buns. I think that was the same for the cabbage, but there may have been a little bit for the 3rd bun. The first 2 buns were untoasted and got the onion and cabbage. They were good. The 3rd bun was the first I toasted. I may have had some cabbage left to put on this one. It was good. The 4th bun was the one I coated with canola oil(at least I think they were in that order). It was good. I didn't really notice any difference between the 2 toasting methods.
My snack item was a bag of Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps. They were the Sesame flavor. They were good, but didn't taste like sesame seeds. This was probably because they didn't put enough on, since I was able to taste the ones that were left in the bottom of the bag.
I almost forgot that I had something else. After work, I visited the h/n/o store and picked up 12 roma tomatoes. They were having a 2lb/$1 sale. Mine were 2.65lbs, and cost $1.41 incl tax. I had 3 of them. I sliced them up. I tried them plain, and with pepper, mustard, and Mrs. Dash, but no combos. They were good
Sat: c/p: I had a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie. It was good. Next was a package of LD Cosmic Brownies. They were good.
I'm going to snack on that other stuff in a min. I'll mention it next week.
I'll have my meal later.
I started typing after 12:30 am. I watched SNL. It was a bit glitch during the first 30min. I then got some reading done. While typing about the Canada Dry, I got distracted by some train vids on YT. Then about an hour ago, I think I dozed off. I then laid in bed and took a nap for a while. It is now 5:54am.
I'll be back in a little while. Hopefully way before 9:30

So Fri after work, I went to 2 places.
First was the music store that was closed when I visited. When I got there, the guy was just going to leave. Thankfully, I didn't take longer at the grocery store I was at before this. I wouldn't have gone in the grocery store if I knew there was only 1 thing I wanted to get. The guy let me come in for a few minutes.
Since I was in a hurry, my memory was a little off, and I didn't recall anything about the effects pedals except that they had a bunch by BOSS.
For keyboards, there were a few Casio digital pianos.
For guitars, there were some by Ibanez and Fender. There was a v that I think was by Dean. There was a Dean superstrat, but I don't recall much about it except it had some kind of wood stain finish.
For amps, there were a few combos from Orange. I don't know if they were tube or solid state. There were also a few combos from Egnater.
I then went to the Guitar Center north of there.
I went over to the used gear niche. There was a guy playing through a Fender Blues Deluxe combo for $549. It was used, but still had the cardboard placards on top. They also had one of those giant Kustom heads(K400) with the car seat vinyl for $399. There was a Marshall combo that may have been a DSL401. There was an Egnater Rebel 20 head for $299. There was an Orange Jim Root Terror head. There was a Vox AC4C1 for $249, and AC4TV for $149. For guitars, there was some model of Schecter. There was also a Squier tele for $149. I didn't look at the back to see where it was made. It's also not listed on their site. For the used effects, there were more than are listed on the site. I think there were 3 black wah pedals, but the site only lists a Dunlop Cry Baby for $39.99 and Thomas Cry Baby for $99.99. There was a Morley pedal(probably a wah) for $39.99. There was a Digitech Whammy. I don't know what generation it was, except that it wasn't a DT, and was cheap, maybe only $119. There was an MXR Super Badass Distortion for $64.99. There were a few mini pedals. One might have been a BBE MS-92 for $64.99. Another was some brand's autowah. There was a pedalboard set up that an employee was messing with. I think I saw him take an Ibanez TS5 off of it.
There wasn't much to mention regarding new stuff. They had a few various Jackson Rhoades(guitar) models. There were a bunch of Splawn amps.
In the drum area, there was a black dude playing a sweet groove.
I then went over to the keyboard area. It was mostly all digital pianos. There was 1 Yamaha preset kb.
I'm finally done! That took me way longer than I wanted it to(almost 8:30am). I still need to do some reading before I eat. I also need to do a few other things; and it feels like I should also take a dump.
Check back next week of course.

Hello. This week sees me starting the pre-typing Sat morning. I was watching SNL, and kind of dozed off after Weekend Update. I woke up during the musical guest's 2nd song, but was still groggy. After SNL was over, I did some reading. It is now after 12:30am, and I am resuming my pre-typing. I think I'll continue through the end of L&O SVU, then take a nap during part of Bones.
I've still been able to refrain from eating shredded wheat. I swear it looks like my belly has gone down in size.
I opened up another bottle of Sriracha. I think I started using it on Mon.
Now it's time for the food.
Sat: First, let me c/p yet again: I had some of the regular chocolate and dark chocolate covered almonds. They were good. I also had some of the dark chocolate peanut clusters, which were also good. I also had some Whoppers mini Robin Eggs. They were good.
I also had more of the Canada Dry Ginger Ale and Lemonade. I made an interesting observation. I had some before I had the above stuff, and maybe even the Little Debbie items. I still couldn't taste the lemonade or the ginger ale, but it did have its own taste, if that makes sense. I don't know if this was the intent of not. I'm thinking the opposite is the case with the drink named after Arnold Palmer(iced tea and lemonade); I recall detecting both components. Back to the ginger ale. When I had it after eating the chocolate items, the taste seemed to disappear. That makes me think the chocolate somehow masks the flavor.
For the actual meal, I had 3 things. First is a box of Keebler Town House Tuscan crackers. They were the Tuscan Cheese flavor. They were good. Next was 2 cans of Campbell's Chunky soup. They were the Hearty Pizza With Sausage & Peperoni. It was good. I don't recall how pizza-y it tasted. There were quite a few pieces of sausage. The last item was 3 roma tomatoes that I sliced up. I tried them with other items I didn't use the "night" before. Of course I made a list: canola oil: No difference. salt: No difference in taste but it created some kind of background reaction. garlic powder: No difference. chili powder: Ok. chili sauce: It just added some background tanginess. soy sauce: No difference.
Sun: I had a bag of Pepperidge Farm Goldfish. They were the Flavor Blasted Xplosive Pizza. They were good. Like I said before, there is only 6.6oz in a bag. The pretzel ones have 8oz.
Mon: I had 2 snacks. First was a can of Brookdale Vienna sausages. They were good even though I took them off the shelf. The other item was a bag of tortilla chips I bought at the h/n/o store. They were from the brand Way Better. I can recall if they were just on sale or on clearance. They were Spicy Sriracha flavor. They were ok. They were not spicy, and I don't recall them tasting like Sriracha.
My meal was fried rice and veggies. I tried something new. I used 3 roma tomatoes that I cut up. I put them in the pan a bit after the broccoli, but before the rice. I don't know if I tasted the tomato, but the meal was good both alone and with my 3 items.
I have something to mention about the tomatoes. I cubed the tomatoes. While I was waiting to put them in the pan, I snacked on a few pieces. I noticed that they tasted better than when I had them on Fri(last week's post) and Sat. On those days, I sliced them. It would seem the cutting method affects how they taste.
Tue: I had fried rice and veggies. I used the last 3 roma tomatoes. This time I added them to the pan after I turned the burner off, but before I took the pan off the burner. I don't remember if I noticed a difference from Mon. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
Again, I snacked on a few pieces of the tomato, and they were really good.
I think maybe the tomatoes affected me since I had to take an emergency dump at work Wed morning.
Wed: I had fried rice and veggies. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
For the meat item, I had half a package of Oscar Mayer Bologna. It was good alone and with mustard.
Thu: There was stuff at 2 grocery store chains on sale that I wanted to get for my meal.
At the first store, I thought the wraps were on sale 2/$6. When I went there, they were $6 each. They had copies of the ad there, so I looked at one. Sure enough, I mentally fucked up. I don't know how they compare size-wise to the ones from Subway, but I'm pretty sure these are cheaper. Since I didn't feel like getting everything(or even nothing) at the 2nd store, I picked up 2. One was Turkey Swiss, and the other was Chicken Caesar. Both seemed to not have any taste. I wonder if this was because when I got home, I put them in the fridge. I did take them out some time before I ate them to try to get them to warm up.
At the 2nd store, there were these sub sandwiches on sale for $3.99. They were tiny, so I only wanted to spend money on one. It was an Italian. Like the wraps, it seemed flavorless. Also like the wraps, I put it in the fridge and took it out later.
I got a few other things too. I got a large Styrofoam cup of chicken lo mien. I've had it there before. I think they do overcook it a bit. It didn't taste as good this time, which is maybe because I had so much of it. It made not want to get more for a while. I also got some spicy deep fried green beans. They were good alone, and dipped in a small container of beef gravy that I also bought.
I ate too much. I felt crappy and drowsy at work. I also think something didn't agree with me, since around 1:30pm, I had to rush to the bathroom and took a massive dump. I think it may have had a slight shade of green, most likely because one of the wrap tortillas was green. More interestingly, it was very shiny.
Fri: I had 2 snacks. First was a package of Lunch Mate Chicken. It was good. It tasted just like the Buddig(the original). I guess I have to say that it doesn't really taste like chicken. Buddig meats(and their copies) are another category of products where you eat them because you like them, not because they taste like the real thing.
The second snack needs a bit of exposition. When I was at the first store on Fri, I saw these 18oz bags of popcorn on clearance for $4.99. I grabbed one. As I was walking away, I squeezed on the bag, and it deflated. This means there was a hole in it. I was a bit out of it(see above); I was also a bit amped up from rushing to get stuff done at the end of the work day. I just went on with it instead of turning back to get another bag. When I got home, I saw the hole in the bag. Even without the hole, I was going to put it in a bunch of smaller bags, because it is WAAAAAAAY too easy to eat too much. But also, it would keep it from getting stale(if it isn't already). I used a bunch of empty pretzel bags from that store's own brand. I kept the bags because the are re-sealable(like a Ziploc bag). I filled up 5 of them. I had a bag for my snack. It was good. It was from the bottom of the original bag, so it had all the crumbs, husks, etc. Surprisingly, all that extra roughage didn't make me do a shitter dash.
The actual meal, including meat item, was a repeat of Wed.
Sat: c/p: I had a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie. It was good. Next was a package of LD Cosmic Brownies. They were good.
double c/p: I had some of the regular chocolate and dark chocolate covered almonds. They were good. I also had some of the dark chocolate peanut clusters, which were also good. I also had some Whoppers mini Robin Eggs. They were good.
I also finished the Canada Dry. It was ok. I think it still had fizz in it.
That's all for now. I will have my meal in a bit. I will be having a can of Pringles or Stax. I keep on debating on whether to sill review those, but I probably will. I do have another item I will review.
See you next week.

Hello again. I'm getting a late start for a few reasons. Mainly that I have a cold, and am not in a expeditious mood. I also had some reading I wanted to do. I didn't feel like doing it during the commercial breaks for SNL. When that was over, I was sitting there watching an episode of L&O SVU, because I couldn't tell if I'd seen it before(I think I did, so I should have watched Bob's Burgers). I eventually did get my reading done. Then I was going to sit down and start this, but I saw a large bug on my arm. I blew it off, then washed my arm off. I was then looking on the floor to find it so I could kill it. I couldn't find it, so I sat down. Then I found it on an old sardine can sitting on my desk. I grabbed the bug and threw it on the floor. I then stepped on it. There was what looked like blood on my fingers from the bug, so I had to clean that off. And in a few min, I'm going to take a nap.
And before I get to this week's reviews, I have to address something from last week. On the weekdays, I cook my rice when I get home from work, then add it to the pan hours later when I cook the other components. On Fri(actually Sat morning), I cooked my rice right before I cooked the veggies(and the rice with it). I used the same burner for both so it would be already hot for the pan. I put the pan on the burner and turned it back up(on that burner, I have it set at its lowest for the rice to cook after being at 7 for the water to boil). I put some oil in too, to get it heated up. I went to the other room and/or cut up onions. When I got back to the pan, the oil was smoking. I was like WTF? I looked at the burner knob, and it was at 7. When I use that pan, I don't go higher than 5 so I don't fuck up the non-stick coating. I turned the burner back down to 5. When I cooked my veggies, and the rice with it afterward, It went way faster than normal. My only guess is that the pan didn't cool down due to heat, albeit lower, still being applied. I have some pans that I got from my brother that I haven't washed yet. If one of the bigger ones doesn't have a non-stick coating, I could start using that and try putting the burner higher than 5.
Finally, it's time for the food.
I was able to go another week without eating any shredded wheat.
Sat: The only thing I will mention is half a bag of store-brand chex mix. The flavor is Ultimately Bold. It was good. I don't think there was any heat. I'll be having the other half for my meal later. I'll try to note if there is any heat.
Sun: Nothing of note.
Mon: My snack was a pretzel bag of the popcorn. It was good.
My meal was fried rice and veggies. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
Tue: I had 2 snacks. I don't know if it was stress eating, or just for the hell of it. The first item was a package of Maruchan Instant Ramen. It was the chicken flavor. It was good. It was the last package in the 12 pack I bought a while ago. Next I will open up a 12 pack of beef flavor that I bought at the same time. The other item was a bag of tortilla chips from Food Should Taste Good. They were the Guacamole flavor. They were good. For guac chips, I would rank these 3rd. 2nd place is Mission, and 1st is Doritos, but both of those have been discontinued.
My meal was fried rice and veggies. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
Wed: I had hot dogs from Oscar Mayer. They were the regular variety. There are 10 in a package, but they are skinnier than most brands of hot dogs. I had 4 on buns, and 6 naked. I had them all with mustard. I also had some cut up onion, but I don't recall how long it lasted. They were all good.
I almost forgot my snack item. They were Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps. They were Sea Salt & Cracked Pepper flavor. They were good, but I didn't seem to notice any kind of flavor besides the pretzel.
Thu: I went to Subway since they have a $4.99 deal on certain footlongs. I bought 3. I'll put them in list form:
Coldcut Combo: Italian bread provolone spinach cucumber black olives oil oregano parmesan It was good. The cucumber was a bit prominent though.
Meatball Marinara flatbread provolone spinach onion green peppers black olives oil oregano parmesan It was good.
Spicy Italian
Italian bread provolone lettuce tomato onion banana peppers Savory Caesar Subway Vinaigrette oregano parmesan I made it like the Arby's Italian sandwich. I'll rate it only as ok because the banana peppers were too dominant.
Fri: I had "2" snacks. I went to Taco Bell and bought 2 Naked Chicken Chalupas; 1 Mild and 1 Wild. When I get a regular and spicy version of something, I like to have the regular version first. This time I goofed up and ate the Wild first. Both were good. With the Wild, there was some heat, which lingered on for a while. I can't recall if I ate the Mild one a bit later when the heat went away, or if I had it soon after, but the lingering heat didn't interfere with my ability to taste the Mild chalupa.
My other snack was a pretzel bag of the popcorn. It was good. I think I have 1 more bag.
For my meal, I had Bar-S hotdogs. They were the Turkey variety. I fried them in the pan. Before that, I fried up some onion and cabbage, but didn't mix them in the pan. I had 4 hotdogs on buns and 4 naked. I had them all with mustard. There was enough onion for the first 2 buns, but there was enough cabbage for all 4. They were all good.
I haven't mentioned it previous times, but I've been toasting 1 or 2 buns in the pan after the hotdogs are done. This time, I took 1 bun and put it open side down in the pan and moved it around to get the oil, etc from the pan on it. I then took another bun and put some canola oil on the open side. I then put that side down on the pan. While it was cooking, I put more oil on the outside, then flipped it over. I don't think toasting them affects the taste really(which is why I didn't mention it), but the one(and ones on previous occasions) where I added oil are a bit greasy.
My snack item was a bag of Lay's kettle chips. They were the Olive Oil Herbs flavor. They were really good. There was an herbal taste, but nothing I could identify.
I ate later than I wanted to. I had felt a bit of fullness in my colon. I was goofing around because I wanted it a bit stronger. This is because I hate taking a dump, then having to do more a while later. That was no problem this morning, since I had to go about 30min ago. My stomach does feel a bit funny, which I hope is just a bit of gas, and not signaling a return trip to the shitter.
Sat: I had a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie. It was good. Next was the last package of LD Cosmic Brownies. They were good.
I had some of the regular chocolate and dark chocolate covered almonds. They were good. I also had the last 3 dark chocolate peanut clusters, which were also good. I also had the rest of the bag of Whoppers mini Robin Eggs. They were good. I just looked above, and I didn't mention that my mom bought my a bunch of candy that was on clearance after Easter. I specifically mentioned the Robin Eggs, so she bought 4 bags, which is 2 too much. I wish she had instead bought another bag of the carrot cake Hershey Kisses.
That's all for the food for now. It feels like I have to squirt out some more poo(even though I did some big burps) before I have my actual meal. That will consist of the aforementioned chex mix, and a can of either Pringles or Stax.
Bye!

Hi everybody! This'll be another late start. I watched even though it was a repeat since it was glitching last time. Then I wanted to do some reading. As I'm typing this, I'm watching the end of a L&O SVU. Then I'll take a nap then get back to typing.
I also wanted to discuss something else that happened to me this week. Tue morning before I went to work, I felt the sensation in my insides that I had a poo ready to shoot out. I went in the bathroom. I pushed really hard, and I ended up with a cat-style turd hanging out. I pushed really hard again, and it popped out. I don't know if I felt it right away(or didn't notice since I was in a hurry), or felt it later, but my head felt funny. I was having a sensation of pressure in my temple areas on both sides of my head. It wasn't pain, and I don't have any dizziness; it's more like what you would feel if wearing a tight headband. It also seems to be accompanied by some internal muscles twitching, causing popping in my ears. I first was thinking it was related to the cold I was getting over, since I was also getting some popping in my deeper nasal areas and some pressure behind my eyes. It didn't go away. Often, I didn't actively feel anything; it was only if I thought about it. I was also having some sensation behind my ears and my neck. On Thu, after I got home from shopping, I moved my head and neck around and heard a lot of cracking. That seemed to clear things up. I haven't really felt anything until about an hour ago when I got up to take my nap. I'm moving my head and getting some crackling, so hopefully I'll feel better in a while. Hopefully, what happened was that I fucked up some muscles/tendons/ligaments/etc in my head/neck when I was straining, and not some stroke and/or aneurysm shit.
I've still been staying away from the shredded wheat.
Time to start!
Sat: I only have 2 of the 5 items to review. First is a can of Pringles. They were the Honey Mustard flavor. They were good. The other item was the other half of the bag of store-brand chex mix. It was good, but only a tiny bit spicy.
Sun: I finished a jar of pb. It was Skippy Natural with Honey. It was the Creamy variety. It was good. I'll start a new jar in a few weeks.
Mon: I had 2 snacks. First was a Maruchan Instant Lunch. It was the Chipotle Chicken flavor. It was good. This time I heated up 11/4 cups of water. It didn't fill up the cup to the line, but it was enough one the noodles softened up. The other item was a pretzel bag of popcorn. It was good.
My meal was fried rice and veggies. It was good alone and with my 3 items.
Tue: Same meal as above.
Wed: I made my veggie fajitas. Instead of using half a bag of frozen broccoli(instead of a bag of sw'ern blend), I used half a bag of peas and carrots. I also used half a can of Mrs. Grimes Black Beans In Chili Sauce. I didn't add any spices/condiments/waters to the pan except for water that I rinsed out the bean can with. I used 5 flour tortillas. I had two plain, one with pepper, one with Sriracha, and one with both. They were all good.
Thu: My snack was a piece of fish(maybe catfish) that I got in the hot section at a grocery store. It was good.
I got my meal at Sonic. They were doing a special where corndogs were $.50 each. I bought 12 of them. Like I said the last time I had them, they are a bit small. I was able to eat them all. I had them with mustard. They were good.
Fri: I had 3 snacks. The first item was from a grocery store. It was some Italian pasta stuffed with cheese with some kind of cheese on top. I don't think it was manicotti since that is covered with marinara sauce. I reheated it in the microwave. It was ok. It came with a piece of garlic bread. It had cheese on top, but I don't know if it came like that or it was cheese from the pasta. I also reheated it in the microwave. It was ok. My other snack was the last pretzel bag of popcorn. It was good.
While my meal was cooking I opened up a bag of store-brand bacon bits. They were good. I only ate some of them, and put the rest back in the fridge.
My meal was 2 items. First was a box of Zatarain's Yellow Rice. I have had this many times, but this was the first time cooking it myself. The instructions say to add some butter(or margarine) . I don't have any, so I added some canola oil. It was good. I also had a package of Eckrich Smoked Sausage. This is the single long sausage that looks the Chicago Bears C logo. I think this is the "plain" flavor. The instructions said to add some water to the dish, but I didn't add as much as the instructions said. The instructions said to microwave for five min(or more). I did, and it split open. I drank the water/juice in the dish. It was good. As for the sausage, I had it plain and with black pepper, mustard, soy sauce, and Sriracha. It was good plain, and with mustard, pepper, Sriracha. It was ok with the soy sauce.
I got a late start due to dozing off a lot. I only slept for less than 4hr. When I got up, I farted, and it smelled like popcorn.
Sat: I had a Little Debbie Oatmeal Creme Pie. It was good. I had the rest of the regular chocolate and dark chocolate covered almonds. They were good. I opened up a new bag of Robin Eggs. They were good. I think I ate almost half the bag. When I finish it, I think I'll wait to open the last bag. I got 2 new items from the h/n/o store on sale. First was chocolate covered walnuts. They were good. Next was dark chocolate covered pecans. They were good.
According to the thermostat, it is 81F in here since I don't have the ac on. This made the chocolate on the nuts melty, and my right hand fingers have chocolate on them.
I also tried a new beverage. It was Coconut Water from Pueblo Lindo from ALDI. It wasn't that good. Maybe it would be better if it was colder. I don't know how much the room temp affected this. Maybe I should have put the can in the freezer for a while.
That's it for now. I may snack on some more of those bacon bits.
I will be having my actual meal in a while. I kind of want to wait and see if I need to take a dump before I eat. It marjorly sucks ass when you have to do so in the middle of your meal.
My meal will consist of 3 items. The meat item is a different flavor of something I've had before. I forget if I've had the second item before because I'm not getting up to look; it might also be a different flavor. The last item is something I haven't had since I was a kid. Hopefully it will be better this time.
Be sure to check back next time. I have Memorial Day off, so I'll be having something different for my "Sun" meal. I'll be having some special meals later next week. I don't when I'll be able to post next time. I may actually post part of the stuff earlier in the week.
It is now 5:45am.
Vi ses!

Hello, today I'm actually pretyping this at my parents new house. I've been moving stuff from their old house to here since Thu.
I got a lot of stuff to get to.
Sat: I had 3 items for my meal. I'll list them in order of complexity
I had a bag of TGI Fridays Potato Skins. These are some kind of potato chip, or Pringles kind of deal. These were the Bacon Ranch flavor. They were good. I don't know if they actually tasted like bacon and/or ranch.
The next item was my meat item. It was a package of Earl Campbell's Red Hot Link sausages. I had them without buns. I tried them with a few items. Of course I made a list: plain: They were good. There was a little heat. black pepper: It didn't affect the taste; it just added more heat. mustard: It was good. soy sauce: I forgot to make a review for this, but I'll assume it was ok. Sriracha: It was good, and also added heat.
I recall these being expensive, even being on sale. I don't think I'll buy them again because of this.
The last item was a can of Campbell's tomato soup. The last time I had it over 30 years ago. Then my mom did that alternate fucked up thing ad added milk instead of water. It tasted like shit. This time I did the normal thing and added water. When it was cooking, it tasted like tomato juice. When it was done, I tried it with everything but canola oil. This was made easier by using my Asian spoon. And again, I made a list: plain: It was ok. mustard: It was good. soy sauce: It was ok. Sriracha: It was good and added heat. garlic powder: I think depending on how much I added, there was either no change or it was good. chili powder: I think depending on how much I added, there was either no change or it was good. black pepper: It was good.
Sun: I had 3 things.
I had a can of store-brand beans. They were Pinto Beans In Jalapeno Flavored Chili Sauce. They were good. When I added water to the can to rinse it out, I had a brain fart and added too much. I let the beans cook for a long time to let the liquid steam off.
I had a can of Brookdale corned beef hash from ALDI. It was good.
My meat item was a 16oz bag of Aqua Star frozen shrimp. I drank the liquid in the bag and it was good. I used the McCormick Shrimp & Crab Boil. The shrimp and the liquid were good.
Mon: I just had my fried rice and veggies. They were good.
Tue: See Mon.
Wed: To "celebrate" my next few days off work, I had 2 snacks.
The first item was something I picked up in the premade cold shelves for the hot food. It was called a rotella, which is some kind of wrap/pinwheel thing. It was Beef & Colby Jack. I tried different things on it, so yes, I made a list: plain: It was good. canola oil: It was ok. black pepper: It was ok. Sriracha: Just added heat. soy sauce: It was ok.
Later I had a bag of Flamin Hot Cheetos. They were good. I have 2 things to add. First, Thu morning, I had to take a dump before I wanted to. The last half of it had a bit of a reddish hue. They burned more coming out than they did going it. Second, When I was taking stuff off my desk on Fri, I found an old bag. It got covered up with junk. If I had found that bag earlier, I would have ate it. There might be more under the rest of the desk junk.
My meal was veggie fajitas. I used the other half of the bag of peas and carrots, and the other half of the can of black beans. I used the first half of each last week. I used all of my spices/condiments/waters. I had the first and last ones plain. I had one with black pepper, one with Sriracha, and one with both. They were all good.
I need to mention something about the tortillas. I prepare them in a certain order: 1 nothing 2 heat in the hot pan with no oil 3 rub oil on the tortilla 4 same as 4 or 5 5 put oil in the pan
This time I did the first 3 the same and put oil in the pan for num 4. For the last one, I tried something a bit different. First I put a can under the handle of the pan to prop it up and have the oil pool on the opposite side of the pan. I then held the tortilla up so it looked like a U from the side. I put the bottom of the "U" in the oil. After a while, I put one side of the U in the oil, then the other. The tortilla was a bit crispy on the outside, and was shaped like a crispy taco tortilla. After putting in the filling, I didn't wrap it, but ate it like a taco.
At my parents house I've been snacking on a package of Oscar Mayer Blackened Turkey. It is really good. I'll probably finish it tonight.
Thu: My meal was a do over. I made ribs. You can check my post from a year ago about the cooking process(the post after the next one does say that I used a cooking spray on the pan). I also didn't check for any excess fat to cut off. Last time, I didn't mention how big of a package I got. This time it was 3.32lbs. Don't worry, a lot of fat/juice cooked out during the microwave cooking portion. For barbecue sauce I used KC Masterpiece Hot 'N Spicy. I used the rest of the sauce when I was eating. I guess they were good. I can't remember how spicy the sauce was
A major item of note was that there was a pain in the ass. My parents had the casserole dishes and plastic wrap in odd places, so it took me a long time to find. I had put up the cut up rib pieces in the big dish. Apparently, the microwave is wider than it is long inside, and has one of those rotating things that you can't fucking shut off. I then put all the pieces in the smaller dish. That one seemed to fit. When I turned the microwave on, the dish rotated. It didn't go all the way around. The microwave sensed that, and the rotating thing went the other way. It then caught again, and went back in the original direction. And so on for both 10 minute sessions.
The other item was cornbread. I used a box of Jiffy brand. If you remember last time, it came out fucked up, probably due to the oven not working. This time the oven is new. But unfortunately, the cornbread was fucked up again. When I got done mixing it up, the batter was very sticky. The only thing I can think of was that the cornbread mix was way out of date(9/27/17). You would think something dry like that wouldn't go bad. It didn't taste that great.
Since that was the last box of cornbread mix and bbq sauce my mom gave me, I most likely won't be making these things again. My mom has a gluten intolerance, and she can't eat spicy bbq sauce, so that's why she gave me them.
Fri: This was a desert meal. Yo can do that when there is no parental or significant other supervision.
I had a blueberry pie that I got at Walmart. There was no brand name on it. I put the ALDI equivalent(Friendly Farms) of cool whip on it. It was good.
I had a bag of frozen raspberries that I got at ALDI by a brand called Season's Choice. They were ok. They were a lot smaller than fresh ones. I should have taken out of the fridge some time before my meal since they were still a bit frozen. After I finished the pie, I put some of the cool whip on it.
When I went Thu to ALDI and took notes, I saw the price was $2.19. I thought there were 16oz, but there were only 12 oz. When I went to buy them, I went to WM first and bought the pie. They had 12oz raspberries there for something like $1.93. I should have bought the WM ones. Well, the cool whip at ALDI was only like $.79, where the Great Value at WM was something like $1.29, so I came out ahead anyway.
The last item was a container of gelato. It was the Sundae Shoppe brand from ALDI. It was the triple chocolate flavor. I don't know where the triple part comes from. The container was one half dark brown, and the other half a lighter shade. I also put some of the cool whip on it when I finished the pie.
Just one thing of note. I don't know if I've posted this before. It seems that sweet stuff fills me up faster than savory stuff. It seems I've had quite a bit more for savory stuff and didn't feel as stuffed.
Sat: Earlier, I opened a can of Clancy's version of Pringles. They were the original(aka plain) version. They are good. I'll finish the can later, or "tomorrow".
I'll have my meal later.
I'll be back in a while.
